All members of the swimming club, parents, carers, teachers and coaches are very welcome at our annual general meeting.

This is on: Monday, 30th November at Bramcote Leisure Centre in the Creche (room overlooking the pool). It will start at 7.00pm for approx 90 minutes.

We will be reviewing the club's performance this year and marking our achievements. We'll also be reviewing our finances and electing new members of the governing committee. Chip butties will be served!

2010 Nottinghamshire County Championships

On Monday 23rd November at 7.00pm we will be holding the annual Nottinghamshire County Championship presentation/entries session.

On this evening some of the coaches will be available to discuss the upcoming Championships and help sort entries. There will also be a fairly short presentation as to the importance and relevance of the County Championships.

If your son/daughter is a competitive swimmer for Bramcote Swimming Club we hope if they have secured a qualifying time that they will participate in the Championships.

Bramcote seal fourth in Minor League Autumn!

Last night Bramcote finished a fantastic fourth in the Minor League 'A' Final at Lammas Pool, Sutton. This represents a tremendous result for the club after not making the 'A' final for the last 3 years. A massive well done to all the swimmers who took part:

Due to squad movements taking place on Sunday 1st November and the need for me to attend a meeting with new A Squad swimmers, please note there will be no land training this Sunday. I apologise for the interruption to land training recently, however things should settle down for quite a period of time after this weekend.

Hi Tom, Michelle & everybody,

Two weeks ago I went on a swim camp where we did four and a half hours swimming training almost every day. It was fun but I think Matti, my coach overloaded us with training and stretching.

The day after I arrived, I had my first gala in Finland. I did 100 meters breastroke and 100 meters freestyle. My time in breastroke was 1:36:03 and for freestyle was 1:17:19. Both these times are PBs.

The Water Meadows Complex in Mansfield will be closed for the next few weeks.

The final round of the Autumn Minor League on 31st October will now be held at Sutton-in-Ashfield. 6.30pm warm up.

Bramcote SC is one of six teams in 'A' Final at Mansfield on 31st October and only 2pts behind league leaders Leander SC.

Other teams in the Final - Leander, Calverton & Bingham, Mansfield, Carlton Forum and Falcon.
