The photo above was taken by the wonderful team of Leslie and Bill Emmetts of Divine Images..and is just a sneak peek from the wedding of Caitlin McAleese and Robby Franklin. We used two of our 5′ tall iron trees on the rather large head table..and filled the trees with fresh hydrangea, roses, stock, greens and hanging votives.  Can’t wait to show the bouquets, ceremony and more from the reception at the Country Music Hall of Fame. It was really refreshing to use whites, creams and greens for this wedding in January…especially after all the reds, gold,etc of the holidays. I think it was almost like a hint of spring.  Caitlin’s wedding coordinator, Angela Proffitt, kept everyone right on schedule…and the evening was a great success.

The season of bridal shows has arrived…these shots above are from our booth on Jan.17th at Nashville Convention Center. One of the hottest color trends for the future is yellow paired with black/white with a hit of bright citrus lime green. Pictured above is our popular manzanita branches with crystals this time with black/white feathers…makes a statement don’t you think? We were swamped with brides visiting our booth…and I met so so many of you…and 5 of you have booked your dates with us already! We are so excited to work with you!

Now off to deliver some gorgeous bouquets and centerpieces to our bride Kristen Massey…who’s wedding is this afternoon at Opryland Hotel…hoping to get everything installed before the snow and Nashville traffic gets too bad!

Please watch ABC’s Extreme Makeover Home Edition THIS SUNDAY…December 6th…this was a home build in Woodlawn,TN right outside Clarksville,TN. We were honored to be chosen as the FLORIST for this episode! The home was truly built in 5 days…and we had less than that to meet with the designers on site (and their behind the scenes designers were so talented as well), purchase containers, flowers,etc..and have them ready and on the site at 7am 3 days later! Whirlwind week..but so much fun. I don’t think there was one room with out fresh flowers…even the laundry room. Above is a photo of the outside of the new home. I can’t tell you how hard it was raining that morning! After the show airs, I hope to have the photos to post here…the production company is sending them. The wedding and reception were held in “Building 8″ at The Factory in Franklin, Tennessee…such a unique venue.

Sunflowers and daisies were the theme throughout. Our iron containers fit the decor of the venue quite well.

Our large iron arch in the background was covered with lush florals of sunflowers, roses, hydrangea, snapdragons,etc. The ceremony and reception were located in the same room….however, it is a VERY large room with the most unique decor in an antique theme…one of my favorite places to decorate.

Lavenders and purples were a hit this year in weddings…and our bride, Robin Finelli, loved the colors as you can see! I thought her bridesmaids’ dresses were just stunning..and Robin a gorgeous bride. It was a rainy rainy day all over Nashville and at Cheekwood..but Robin didn’t let that bother her at all…she planned on an outdoor ceremony and as luck would have it….she had one. The rain stopped and the ceremony did go on as planned..what a lucky couple! The reception was in Botanic Hall at Cheekwood, a great place for a Nashville wedding reception.

I love using our glass pedestals…when it is dark and the lights are low, they really reflect the votives.

The flowers that were tied to the chairs as pew markers were moved to the doors of the reception.

I am just catching up and catching my breath…what a wonderful wedding season we have had here at Branching Out. The above photo is a close up of the bouquet chosen by Jessica Hartness for her wedding. Granted, I’m sorry I am so far behind, as her wedding was in the spring. Thanks to David Wright Photography for sending these…David is such a fabulous photographer…a true professional. Jessica chose Alice Hendry as her wedding coordinator…Alice always plans such beautiful events!

Jessica chose coral peonies (can you tell she LOVED peonies?) to use in her bridesmaids’ bouquets..they looked great against the dresses. We also used the coral peonies and stargazer lillies on the guest tables. Jessica and her husband now have a new home..I keep up with her via Facebook!

Just received these fabulous photos from Angie Gambill of Gambill Photgraphy from the wedding of such a sweet beautiful bride, Bethany Loudermilk. Bethany chose Tiffany blue as her accent color and all white florals, which was so refreshing and perfect for a spring wedding. We always love working with Alice Hendry as a wedding coordinator, and we know Bethany had a wonderful day because of Alice’s help.

The ceremony was held at Scarritt Bennett Wrightman Chapel, so popular with brides. Pictured above are the silver cones used to mark the entrance…and begin the silver and Tiffany blue theme. The reception was held at Maggianos, which is a great venue for a wedding reception.

The brides LOVES feathers, so feathers rather than rose petals were scattered down the aisle. Our silver cones continued the silver them as aisle markers. You must go to Angie’s website blog to see more photos and read the incredible way this couple met.

I will try to post more as more photos come in from our spring/summer weddings. We are truly blessed to have had such a busy season and such wonderful brides and clients to work with.

With the hot summer weather in full swing, having an outdoor wedding can be “chancy”…so keeping your colors soft can give a cooling effect. The bridal couple, Jennifer Miller and Dr. Asa Andrew decided to slightly “dress down” their wedding…first by having us hang mason jars with candles from the tree limbs(the ceremony took place under the large tree rather than the gazebo at Governor’s Club.

Mason jars filled with garden roses were used to hang from the chairs lining the aisle, as well as on half of the guest tables. Jennifer’s bridemaids wore pewter dresses and that color was also used as runners on the guest tables.

Pictured above is a photo compliments of the Tennessean of the latest addition to our inventory of party rental inventory here in Nashville. The photo above is from the Swan Ball 2009, and we were fortunate to purchase these after the Swan Ball to use for Branching Out events! These will be used on bars, focal points and event on guest tables. So excited to have 10 of these in stock! The photo below shows another view..the white wooden box is separate (yes we purchased those too)…and can be used without the lamp if you choose. These can be painted any color to match your color scheme. I can picture the lamps in the fall as well, using grapevine, fall colors, berrries,etc.  The possibilites are endless. Two of our brides have already reserved these for their upcoming Nashville wedding receptions!
