I waited a year to photograph this beautiful wedding for this adorable couple at Stevenson Ridge in Fredericksburg, VA. They were the sweetest couple! They didn't let the torrential downpour that began just before their wedding bother them in the least. They had their eyes set on each other:) I had a really hard time narrowing down the favorties I wanted to share so this is now officially my longest blog post...ever! Enjoy:)

I had a delightful time photographing this sweet intimate wedding last month at The Winery at La Grange in Haymarket, VA. These two newelyweds were married on one of the first beautiful days in April surrounded by their closest friends and family.

Loved their handmade-beaded bouquets!

Love the lace details and delicate pearls she is wearing.

These two were happy to smooch whenever I asked! Such a sweet couple:)

Could they be any more adorable? They loved this archway. I'm glad we were able to get this shot for them.

I can't believe October is here and I never blogged our beach photos from our summer vacation to St. Augustine, Florida. It was a family reunion for my husbands side of the family and of course we had to take pictures!! It had rained only hours before and everyone was so happy when the sun peeked back out so our session could go on as planned. Everyone hadn't been together like this since my wedding over 10 years ago! If you look closely you will be able to spot me in the big family shot, which I must say turned out pretty well for using self-timer:) I wish Bristow, VA had a beach so I could do this more often. Enjoy!

I am absolutely in LOVE with shooting weddings. I love all of it, from the bride getting ready in the morning to the last dance of the night. It's such a joy to be able to be able to experience this special day with a couple, their family and friends.

Mr. and Mrs. T were so much fun to work with. Their wedding and reception was full of personality and this is one couple that didn't leave the dance floor the entire night! The dance floor was packed thanks to JJDJ Entertainment and their lighting effects really created a fun atmosphere. The reception took place at Evergreen Country Club, in Haymarket, VA. It was over 100 degrees but luckily the wedding was indoors:)

I met this gorgeous family recently and was thrilled to take their family portraits. It was a hot but gorgeous day at Stonewall Golf Club in Haymarket, VA. We got rained out he day before so the sun was a welcome site!

My boys and I took advantage of a day off of school today with a special trip to the park so that I could photograph them in honor of my oldest sons 7th birthday. It was super sunny so we found a pocket of shade that was just perfect. My plan was to make this years Christmas Card out of these but I couldn't not share until then! Enjoy and thanks for letting me show off my little guys.

It wasn't the sunny day they had planned for their outdoor wedding at Historic Kinloch south of Fredericksburg. At 4pm when the ceremony began the skies were black with rain and storm clouds. Rain on your wedding day is supposed to bring you good luck. As luck would have it, half way through the reception a rainbow appeared for the newlyweds...
