YACHT CREW replaces YACHT CLUB with a new anchor design

Our most popular Break Time collections, the anchor bracelets, are going back to basics...but with a twist.

The classical anchor shape we started with over 10 years ago (remember our SPLIT collection?) returns, with a change in design that allows for engraving of the anchor body (which was not possible on the Split anchors). The new YACHT CREW by Break Time anchor bracelets are replacing the YACHT CLUB anchor bracelets, for all three anchor sizes: 4cm, 3cm and 2cm.

For a short period (the next three months), the Yacht Club anchors are still available on order, for those of you who loved the round anchor design more - all you have to do is leave a note when ordering an Yacht Crew anchor bracelet and ask that we use the Yacht Club anchor instead, for your order.

The 8th year of our Break Time flagship store in Trogirska 8 Split, Croatia is getting to a close. Saturday (December 9th) is the last day we are open for 2023, so hurry up and take advantage of the free engraving and of the 20% discount for all the bracelets we have in-store (except for the new Ocean collection).

We will reopen the shop when the weather starts to be nice and sunny again (February-March 2024). If you are planning to order some of our handmade jewelry, do not wait too long. The last day when we are making and shipping orders for 2023 is Tuesday, December 12th.

All orders places from December 13th until the end of the year, will be made and shipped in the first week of January 2024, and that is because we are going to be away on holiday, to visit our families in Romania for Christmas and New Year.

As a thank you for the inconvenience, we will include a gift with each order placed from 13.12. until 31.12.2023.

If you are reading this, it means you are probably considering buying some gifts from our family-run shop. First of all, rest assured that the nautical-inspired jewellery that we create is gift-ready packed, so all you have to do is just place it under the Christmas tree.

We also want to help out with your season shopping, so we are continuing to offer free personalised engraving, as well as free shipping for all orders over 25 euros. If you are a first-time customer, you can also get a 10% discount if you sign up for our newsletter!

We also try to ship as fast as we can, same day or next day whenever possible, maximum two days if we are having too many orders to fulfill (as you know, Leonard is the one handcrafting each and every piece of Break Time jewellery). To make sure you get the gifts in time for Christmas, we suggest you place your orders before 05.12 for international orders and before 12.12 for orders inside Croatia.

If you are in Split, Croatia and would like to buy some beautiful and original Break Time gifts, we have a sweet deal to offer, too. Besides the free personalised engraving, we also have 20% discount for EVERYTHING that we have in stock, with the exception of the new OCEAN collection. Please note that our Trogirska 8 shop is open only two days per week now, Friday and Saturday, from 10.30 to 18.30.

From December 12th until end of the year, we are actually going on holiday ourselves. That means that all orders placed from 12.12 until 31.12, will be fulfilled in the first week of January. We do apologise for any inconvenience that might cause, but we miss our families in Romania, and want to spend Christmas and New Years with them. What are shackle bracelets

Shackle bracelets have become popular as a fashion accessory, as well as for their symbolism. For some, the shackle represents strength and security, while for others it may symbolize freedom and liberation. In any case, shackle bracelets can be a unique and eye-catching addition to a personal style.

We have two types of Break Time shackle bracelets. Most popular ones are made of sailing rope and feature a closing resembling a marine shackle.

These bracelets have a nautical or industrial look, the shackle is made from stainless steel and the bracelet can only be taken off by unscrewing the pin and opening the shackle. They are made to order, to fit the different wrist sizes.

Also, the shackle size can differ from collection to collection.The smallest ones we are using are 3mm shackles, paired with 3mm rope, for the ROYAL by Break Time collection. These bracelets are suited for small, medium or big wrists, too.

Then we have the 4mm shackles, paired with 4mm rope, suited for medium to large wrists. These are the ones we use for most of the shackle bracelets collections, such as:

The biggest shackles we use are the 5mm ones, paired with 5mm sailing rope, for our SEAMAN by Break Time shackle bracelets with decorative compass. These are best suited for larger wrists, so no wonder this is one of the best selling collection for men.

The second type of shackle bracelets that we create here at Break Time are the ones from our OCEAN by Break Time collection, launched at the end of 2022. The bracelets are made entirely our of tiny shackles, linked together to form an original designed chain. Different nautical-inspired titanium charms can be attached to the Ocean shackle bracelets.
