with the first lay I can officially say started the 2011 breeding season.
I introduce to you my team, because of short free time, this year, I didn't sort out many couples.
There are 8 pairs plus a little old couple(making flushing breed eggs, but it's "close couple" and I keep them as nurse)

4 Yellow +1 (old nurse couple)
3 White
1 Red Mosaic

Fall is coming... and for most part of our bird friends it's time to migrate in hotter places, but for another part of them it's time to find a new safe home where spend fall season.

To help them to find a good place to stay and maybe persuade birds to seattle down, it's a good idea setup an external public nest box.

There are several kind of nest box, each for every kind of <img src="http://feeds.feedburner.com/~r/BreedingGoldfinch/~4/QThRIfO9rGw" height="1" width="1"/>

European Goldfinch Moult

Feed healty foods, and some fat seeds, clean water and take care to remove fecal everyday(yes everyday...)

Red mask will comes out during moulting, the color will show its healty status(orange bed, red so so, red good) Don't forget allow to bird "sun shower", in this way you fix the color.
