Pelangi Budaya Bumi Merapi 2010

Untuk kesekian kali, Bregodo Bremoro Geni Dowangan mengikuti kirab budaya yang diselenggarakan oleh Dinas Pariwisata Kabupaten Sleman. Kirab kali ini berbeda dengan kirab-kirab sebelumnya, kirab kali ini menggabungkan antara budaya tradisional dengan modern. Bregodo atau prajurit tampil bersama kontingen kejuaraan nasional Drum Band se-Indonesia.
Pelangi Budaya Bumi Merapi diikuti sekitar 800 orang bregodo prajurit lengkap dengan pakaian tradisionalyang terdiri dari 15 bregodo prajurit dan kelompok kesenian yaitu Paguyuban Rias Sekar Sedah, Bregodo Bremara Geni, Tambakbaya, Kalijaga, Purbaya, Songsong Wirasuta, Bathok Bolu, Ngrowhod, Bregada Prajurit Ganggeng Samodra, Tunggulwulung, kelompok kesenian Dadhungawuk, Kuntulan, Badui, Kubrasiswa dan Dayakan.
Sedangkan para kontingen kejuaraan nasional drum band yang ikut andil di antaranya berasal dari Lhokseumawe NAD, Sumatera Selatan, Jambi, Bandar Lampung, DKI Jakarta, Jawa Tengah, Jawa Timur, dan DIY.
Kirab yang dimulai dari Lapangan Denggung – Jl. Magelang – Jl. Parasamya – Lapangan Pemda Sleman ini diawali dengan pembukaan Kejurnas Drumband dan dilanjutkan dengan pentas tari kolosal "Topeng Poleng" yang diikuti 70 penari dari empat SMA di Kabupaten Sleman.
Tari kolosal Topeng Poleng ini merupakan tari kreasi baru yang merupakan perpaduan berbagai tari tradisional yang menggambarkan para prajurit yang dipimpin Sri Sultan Hamengku Buwono I berperang melawan penguasa makhluk halus di daerah Gunung Gamping.

Tampil Beda, HUT Sleman ke 94

Berbagai kesenian tampil pada puncak peringatan hari ulang tahun ke-94 Kabupaten Sleman, Daerah Istimewa Yogyakarta. Upacara HUT ke-94 Kabupaten Sleman ini diikuti sekitar 3.000 bregada dari 17 kecamatan, dan seluruh Perangkat Daerah dengan inspektur upacara adalah Gubernur Daerah Istimewa Yogyakarta (DIY) Sri Sultan Hamengku Buwono X.
Dalam rangkaian perayaan memperingati HUT ke-94 Kabupaten Sleman diadakan kirab pusaka dan pawai bregada dengan finish di Lapangan Denggung, setelah sebelumnya pada pukul 14.30 WIB dilakukan pengambilan pusaka Kyai Turun Sih serta panji lambang daerah di Pendopo Parasamya yang diikuti oleh pembawa pusaka, paguyuban Sekar Sedah, prajurit Bremoro Geni Dowangan dan Bregodo Ganggeng Samudra.
Selain itu juga ditampilkan fragmen 'Mutiara Sembada' yang disajikan oleh gabungan dari Sanggar Tari Kembang Kusuma, Paguyuban Dayakan Simo Merapi, Siswo Kawedar, SMA Negeri 1 Seyegan, SMA Negeri 1 Sleman, dan SMA Negeri 2 Ngaglik.

Bregodo Bremoro Geni dari Dowangan Banyuraden mengikuti Kirab Pelangi Budaya Bumi Merapi, Rabu (2/12) yang diselenggarakan oleh Dinpar. Kab. Sleman di Jalan Magelang, Sleman. Kirab tahun yang menempuh jarak sekitar tiga kilometer dari Lapangan Mlati hingga Lapangan Denggung. Kirab kali ini diikuti lebih dari 4000 peserta dari berbagai kalangan kelompok seni.

Kelompok budaya meliputi bregada prajurit tradisional, kesenian tradisional yaitu kuntulan, badui, emprak, topeng poleng, wayang orang, putri sigrak, dan paguyuban budaya, komunitas mahasiswa dan perguruan tinggi. Kelompok pariwisata dan batik meliputi perhotelan, travel agent, para pengusaha batik, desa-desa wisata, dsb.

Sedangkan acara pendukung event Pelangi Budaya Bumi Merapi yang ditampilkan berupa pentas seni budaya yang meliputi jathilan, kobrasiswa, macapat, dolanan anak, dadhung awuk, barongsai dan karawitan anak.

Karnaval Pelangi Budaya Bumi Merapi ini merupakan kegiatan budaya yang merupakan wujud nyata dari keanekaragaman potensi budaya dan seni di Kabupaten Sleman yang dieksplorasikan melalui kreativitas dan inovasi para peserta karnaval.

Peserta kirab terdiri dari pejalan kaki dan kendaraan hias. Semua peserta mengenakan pakaian batik juga ornament batik pada setiap kendaraan. Hal ini sengaja dilakukan dalam rangka memperingati pengukuhan batik sebagai warisan khas leluhur Indonesia dari UNESCO.

Event ini diharapkan menjadi sarana aktualisasi sekaligus sebagai media internalisasi potensi seni dan budaya di kalangan para pelaku seni dan budaya. Tak hanya itu, kegiatan ini juga diharapkan mampu menjadikan wahana apresiasi positif bagi masyarakat umum dan wisatawan.

Meriah Puncak Acara Hari Jadi Kabupaten Sleman ke-93

Puncak acara Hari Jadi ke-93 Kabupaten Sleman yang jatuh pada tanggal 15 Mei 2009 dilaksanakan dengan upacara di Lapangan Denggung pada pukul 15.00 WIB. Para peserta upacara berpakaian adat Jawa lengkap dan dilaksanakan dengan Bahasa Jawa. Peserta upacara merupakan karyawan dinas dan instansi di lingkungan Pemkab Sleman serta bregodo-bregodo prajurit, seni budaya dan paguyuban yang ada di Kabupaten Sleman.
Di daerah persiapan I atau DP I (Pendopo Parasamya) diikuti oleh Bregodo Prajurit Tambak Yuda, Bregodo Prajurit Bremoro Geni Dowangan, Pembawa Pusaka tombak Kyai Turunsih dan Rontek serta Bregodo Sekar Sedah. Di DP II diikuti oleh Bregodo Kesenian Badui, Sekretariat Dewan, Karyawan Dinas, Kantor, Badan serta 17 Kecamatan. Di DP III (Lapangan Mlati) diikuti oleh Bregodo Rampak Buta sebagai Cucuk Lampah, Bregodo Prajurit Delingsari, Tlatar, Tuk Si Bedug, Onggojoyo, Code, Ngetal, Ngrowodh, Mejing BSW, Bathok Bolu, Gamping Kidul, Kalirase, Bregas, Tunggul Wulung, Demang/Cokrowijayan, Purbaya Wotgaleh.
Upacara peringatan Hari Jadi di Lapangan Denggung dimulai dengan Tarian Pesona Lereng Merapi yang merupakan perpaduan unsur ragam gerak kesenian religius di Kabupaten Sleman yaitu badui, kubro, kuntulan, reog, jathilan dan sholawatan sebagai iringannya. Tarian ini dibawakan oleh siswa-siswi SLTA se Kabupaten Sleman (SMA 1 Kalasan, SMA 1 Ngaglik, SMA 1 Sleman, SMA 1 Seyegan dan SMA 2 Ngaglik) sejumlah ± 100 orang siswa. Gelar Tari Pesona Lereng Merapi ini menggambarkan kedinamisan masyarakat Sleman dalam membangun bumi Sembada Lereng Merapi dengan dilandasi rasa memiliki dan kecintaan terhadap kearifan seni budaya lokal.

Dinas Kebudayaan dan Pariwisata Kabupaten Sleman melakukan promosi dan penyuluhan sadar wisata dan sapta pesona bagi warga masyarakat Rumah Domes, Sengir Sumberharjo Prambanan dan sekitarnya selama dua hari Sabtu 28 Maret dan Senin 30 Maret 2009.
Sebagai pembicara dalam acara tersebut Drs. Edi Purnomo dari ASITA DIY dengan materi Sadar Wisata dan Sapta Pesona dengan topik khusus “Mempersiapkan Domes sebagai Obyek Wisata”, dosen Fakultas Teknik Arsitektur UGM Dyah Titisari, ST, MUDD dengan materi Menata Lingkungan dan Rumah dengan Asri serta teori sekaligus praktek tentang Pengolahan Limbah dan Pembuatan Pupuk Organik oleh praktisi desa wisata Sukunan Iswanto, S.Pd, M.Kes.
Sebagaimana diungkapkan panitia penyelenggara Budiharjo, A.Md, promosi dan penyuluhan sadar wisata dan sapta pesona yang diselenggarakan oleh Dinas Kebudayaan dan Pariwisata Kabupaten Sleman bertujuan untuk memberikan pemahaman tentang konsep Sadar Wisata dan Sapta Pesona sebagai unsur penting dalam pengembangan kepariwisataan yang akan bermuara pada peningkatan kesejahteraan rakyat. Disamping itu juga untuk mendorong peran aktif masyarakat dalam mendukung upaya terwujudnya Sadar Wisata dan Sapta Pesona.
Secara khusus, pembinaan kelompok sadar wisata ini diharapkan akan dapat memberikan tambahan pengetahuan dan ketrampilan tehnis kepada masyarakat di sekitar obyek wisata terkait dengan upaya-upaya untuk memberikan pelayanan yang baik kepada wisatawan, baik wisatawan domestik maupun manca negara. Dalam acara tersebut dihadirkan 50 warga masyarakat setempat yang terdiri atas para tokoh masyarakat dan masyarakat di sekitar Domes.
Sementara itu Kapala Seksi Pemasaran Wisata Dra. Shavitri Nurmala Dewi, MA mengungkapkan bahwa Domes sudah menjadi obyek wisata yang banyak diminati oleh wisatawan baik dalam negeri maupun manca negara. Karena disamping keunikannya yang tiada duanya di Indonesia yang dikenal juga dengan Rumah Teletubies, Domes merupakan tonggak bersejarah pasca bencana gempa bumi tahun 2006 silam. Sehubungan dengan hal tersebut ia mengajak kepada masyarakat setempat dan sekitarnya untuk menyiapkan diri sebagai tuan rumah yang baik, mengingat kedepan tentu akan semakin banyak wisatawan yang datang. Sikap dan perilaku masyarakat setempat terhadap wisatawan yang datang akan sangat berpengaruh terhadap pengembangan obyek wisata itu sendiri dimasa mendatang.
Disamping itu pula, pihak pemerintah daerah tentu akan melakukan promosi seoptimal mungkin melalui berbagai sarana, baik melalui pameran, travel dialog maupun melalui website Dinas Kebudayaan dan Pariwisata.

Namun yang Saya (admin) heran adalah pada halaman Mbah Google terdapat Bremoro Geni yang terpaut di halaman Facebook. Nah ini benar2 sangat mengherankan bagi Saya (admin). Saya (admin) merasa belum pernah memasangkan/ membuatkan/ menggabungkan Bremoro Geni ke dalam Facebook.
