"The Bible tells me that
God can make a human being out of a pile of dirt, that God can make a
barren old couple the proud parents of a chosen people, that God can
heal the sick and feed the hungry and raise the dead. If I believe that,
then I cannot also believe myself or anyone else to be a lost cause"

from Peter Bregman’s blog at blogs.harvardbusiness.org, on how to change a corporate culture.

To start a culture change all we need to do is two simple things:

Do dramatic story-worthy things that represent the culture we want to create. Then let other people tell stories about it.
Find other people who do story-worthy things that represent the culture we want to create. Then tell stories

Loft Paintball!!

Today we had several ladies from the Loft over to our house. The ladies and my wife made, baked and decorated cookies for our tacky Christmas party tomorrow. This is a beautiful reflection of what true disciple making is. As we see Jesus shares his life with his disciples so we share our lives.

The most powerful moments in the Christian life are when we share moments of life together.

11/26/09 Loft Announcements

Loft Announcements 11/26/09 from Brian Lawson on Vimeo.

Prideful Dogs

The interactions between Pickles (our dog) and Charles (the resident dog) has been very humorous! But in my spirit I am very excited about what we are doing. I hope all of you remember to bring your change over the next four weeks so that we can give it to a family in need over the holidays. Also remember that you can write letters or Christmas cards to the family if you would like. It is a great way to truly bless someone!

Ashley and I recently went to see Toy Story and Toy Story 2 in 3D! It was great and I do have to say that I feel we are going to start a new trend. Before long everyone will be wearing glasses that are made to look like the authentic Brian and Ashley throwback shades!
