"Get the bolt and give me the hammer just in case," one man said, as the dispatcher heard the apparent smashing of a car window to get at drugs inside the vehicle, KXTV-TV reported, citing a tape of the call.

During hearings on Capital Hill regarding Apple Inc. tax strategies, Sen. John McCain said, "For years, Apple has opted to forego fully contributing to the U.S. Treasury and to American society by shifting profits and circumventing U.S. taxes." MacCain also stated that, "Apple claims to be the largest U.S. corporate taxpayer, but by sheer size and scale, it is also among America's largest tax avoiders. A company that has found remarkable success by harnessing American ingenuity and the opportunities afforded by the U.S. economy should not be shifting its profits overseas to avoid the payment of U.S. tax, purposefully depriving the American people of revenue."

Ahem. This is the talk of a big government statist. At no time does it occur to Senator McCain, or any of the other leeches on the Senate panel, that perhaps it is the tax laws and confiscatory rates imposed by them which encourage not only Apple, but numerous other U.S. multinational companies to use the so-called corporate "loopholes", which are legal and which Congress created,and to set up off-shore offices in countries in which they put their money from their international business. Maybe if the tax system in the U.S. wasn't such a massive leviathan, and the tax rates were set at a level which was fair for all individuals and businesses alike, there would be no need for "loopholes", subsidies, or other things that most people do, not to "avoid" taxes, but to ensure that they pay only that which they "legally" owe. Loopholes are not cheating. Loopholes are an admission by the government that the tax rates are too high and confiscatory. Businesses have an obligation to themselves, and to their shareholders, to pay only the maximum amount of taxes that they are legally required to pay. PERIOD!

Senator McCain and the rest of these idiots are the ones who created this tax nightmare. It is not only human nature to legally pay the lowest tax rate possible, but it makes good business sense. If you are a multinational company, it only makes sense to set up offices in a country that provides you the lowest tax rate possible. Does it make sense to set up an office in Ireland, which has a 12% corporate tax rate, or to continue bringing your money back into the U.S., which has a 35% corporate tax rate, which also happens to be the highest corporate tax rate in the industrialized world?

No, the issue isn't with Apple, or any of the multitude of other companies which do the same thing. Apple is singled out because of it's status. The issue is with a government which is drunk on power, spends like there is no tomorrow, and is hell-bent on stealing more and more of the fruits of everybody's labor, while the debt spins out of control and they mortgage the future of the country. While they've pissed away the mortgage, they now want to kill the Golden Goose which provides the wealth - the private sector which powers the economic engine.

It's well past time that Senator McCain got the hell out of the way, and for those in Congress who are actually interested in getting back to a Constitutional government, to start really pushing for the Fair Ta, and educating the public on how that simpler, fairer system benefits everyone.

It is patently obvious that the Obama Administration, through the IRS, the Department of Justice, the EPA, the State Department, and who knows who else, is at war with the people of the United States.

This latest revelation, that the IRS has seized private medical records of over 10 million Americans should send a chill up every American's spine. This is corruption of the highest order. It cannot be coincidental that federal departments as disparate as the IRS, Justice, and the EPA, spontaneously and autonomously, decided to target Tea Party groups, pro-Israel groups, conservative religious organizations, and now seize the medical records of millions of Americans, including the records of EVERY State judge in California.

The potential for political thuggery of seizing private medical records of judges is off the charts. Knowing the personal information of these judges, which could include whether they have had psychiatric care, drug or alcohol problems or rehab, and any number of medical conditions would open the floodgates for the Feds to have the ability to extort judges into rulings that would be favorable to the government on any number of cases or issues.

Congress needs to quit pussy-footing around with all of these separate committee hearings for all of these different scandals, and put ALL of them under a single umbrella, and assign a special prosecutor to investigate them as a whole, connecting the dots to what is a clearly coordinated campaign by the Obama Administration to "fundamentally transform" the United States into his socialist/Marxist vision.

John Doe Company sued 15 John Doe IRS agents in Superior Court.
"This is an action involving the corruption and abuse of power by several Internal Revenue Service ('IRS') agents (collectively referred to as 'defendants' herein) during a raid of John Doe Company, in the Southern District of California, on March 11, 2011," the complaint states. "In a case involving solely a tax matter involving a former employee of the company, these agents stole more than 60,000,000 medical records of more than 10,000,000 Americans, including at least 1,000,000 Californians.
"No search warrant authorized the seizure of these records; no subpoena authorized the seizure of these records; none of the 10,000,000 Americans were under any kind of known criminal or civil investigation and their medical records had no relevance whatsoever to the IRS search. IT personnel at the scene, a HIPPA [sic: recte HIPAA] facility warning on the building and the IT portion of the searched premises, and the company executives each warned the IRS agents of these privileged records. Seven people claiming to be recently graduated chemical engineers on a field trip to the Quabbin Reservoir for educational purposes, were detained by Massachusetts State Police and cited for trespassing.

Sounds harmless enough until you discover that these seven "students", five men and two women, are from the Islamist countries of Saudi Arabia and Pakistan, and also Singapore (14.7% Muslim). Police report that the seven live in different parts of Massachussetts and New York.

Though police stated that there was no "evidence" of any crime committed other than trespassing, what are the chances that these seven people just decided to go on a field trip at 12:30AM, to the reservoir that supplies water to the most of the eastern part of the state of Massachusetts and Boston, to enhance their knowledge of chemical engineering? Just a guess, but I'd say about ZERO! My guess is that they were there to assess the vulnerabilities, or an ideal method or location, to carry out some kind of attack. The one thing these people were honest about was that they were there for "educational" purposes. Not for scientific purposes, but reconnaissance for their jihad.

If the FBI has not already put these seven individuals on the terrorist watch list, it needs to do so immediately. To do otherwise would be at the very least negligent, and potentially criminal, were some sort of chemical or biological attack done on the water supply. While they are at it, do the same thing to the "students" who have come here from Middle Eastern islamist states, but who never showed up to their schools, or any other schools. The numbers range anywhere from 1,500 to 15,000. That the numbers of those individuals are so disparate should raise a red flag all on its own.

Though Obama has said that al Qaeda and the islamists are supposedly so weakened as to be insignificant, the only opinion that really matters is that of the islamo-nazi terrorists, and the last time I checked, they haven't told us they have given up their jihad against the United States and the West.

With all of the attention focused on the IRS' targeting of Tea Party groups for extra scrutiny, and the subsequent revelations that they passed on confidential information about those groups to a left-wing group called ProPublicus, one story is still appears to be garnering much less attention. That the same IRS has also targeted groups that are Pro-Israel, or suspected of being supportive of Israel.
This is especially troubling, though not surprising, given the public hostility Barack Obama and his administration have shown toward the State of Israel, and particularly Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu. American Jews should be outraged if it is shown that Obama and his minions are using the IRS as a political weapon to silence pro-Israel groups in the U.S. These are Gestapo-like tactics being used by the Obama administration, and as much as they would like to lay this at the feet of mid-level lackey's and appear completely insulated from these scandals, the deeper people dig into them, the higher up the chain of command the approvals go.
As a reminder: the first item on the articles of impeachment against Richard Nixon was his use of the IRS as a political sledgehammer against his opponents. It looks like Obama may have missed this salient fact as he pursued his distorted leftist view of American history.

The division of the Internal Revenue Service that improperly scrutinized the tax-exempt status of conservative groups sent confidential information on 31 conservative groups to the well-funded liberal nonprofit journalism organization ProPublica, according to a revelation made by ProPublica Monday.

“The same IRS office that deliberately targeted conservative groups applying for tax-exempt status in the run-up to the 2012 election released nine pending confidential applications of conservative groups to ProPublica late last year,” according to the ProPublica report.

Councilwoman Brings Students to Tears, Calling Handmade Gift To City "Racist" and "Offensive"

A quilt which was presented to the city of Martinsville, Virginia as a goodwill gesture on behalf of the Piedmont Governor's school, was labeled as "racist" and "offensive" by Councilwoman Sharon Brooks Hodge. Her outrage was triggered by one of the squares on the quilt, a black stick figure which represented intellectual darkness, while a metallic gold stick figure was used to represent enlightenment. The student who made the square said that he wanted to use a dark color to contrast the lightness of the gold figure. One young girl was brought to tears by the unexpected attack.
This was not sufficient for the Councilwoman. The NAACP reportedly has also gotten into the non-issue, issuing a statement saying,
"This young man had not received training on how offensive depictions like this were to people of color. If he had, this incident could have been avoided. The city already has issues with the Black [sic] community; this does not help matters at all." [is the last sentence a veiled threat?]
So, in other words: "These young people, because they are white, are genetically predisposed to being racist, and in need of multi-cultural sensitivity training. And since there are already race issues in Martinsville, it would be a unfortunate if violence were to increase because of this."
In an interview with WDBJ-7 News, it becomes readily apparent that it is Ms. Hodge who is the racist. She states during he interview that she is "fine" with replacing the black figure with a white stick figure to "represent ignorance". She also refers to the reporter as "you white people".
It is obvious to any one watching the council meeting video or listening to her interview that this is a person hyper-sensitive about race, ready to attack any perceived "racial" undertone, and who's worldview is seen through a racial lens. She does not see the beauty of the gift that was presented to the council, or the hard work and love put into the project by the students. Dearbornistan Heights Police Department now providing halal food to detained Muslims.

Arab American News Local Muslim sharia proponents have welcomed the Dearborn Heights Police Department’s recent decision to provide halal food to Muslims who are detained in their custody. In recent months, members of the terror-linked CAIR (Council on American Islamic Relations of Michigan) have held meetings with the Dearborn Heights mayor and police chief to discuss the need for the City’s police force to better accommodate Muslim suspects and criminals. These meetings have led to the recent halal food accommodation. CAIR-MI is also seeking similar accommodations from other law enforcement entities in Michigan and says the Police Department’s decision is a testament to recognizing the religious sensitivities of Muslims.

The website of the Sankore Institute of Islamic-African Studies International (SIIASI), based in Pittsburgh, P.A., calls on Muslims to engage in “litigation jihad” as a means of moving the U.S. towards Sharia law. The anti-American group had its offices raided by the FBI in 2006.

“The United States has long held Muslim political prisoners within its federal, state and now privatized penal colonies. It is by waging a litigation jihad [sic] in the US penal system that some redress can be made in the international community as well. It is for this reason that Muslim inmate legal actions in the US courts constitute the front line of defense of Islam,” SIIASI says.

The objective of the “litigation jihad” is bigger than freeing Muslims from jail. It continues: “Every successful Muslim litigation passed in the U.S. courts, is a standardization and recognition of the Islamic shari’a….but more importantly it is a perfecting and refining of the United States constitution.”

Apparently unaware that microphones were still on, several NJ lawmakers were caught saying what many of us have been saying all along, regarding the goal of gun control.
At the 0:19 sec mark of the audio, a person is heard to say what sounds like, "We needed a bill that was going to confiscate, confiscate, confiscate". A second person says, "They don't care about the bad guys. All they want to do is have their little guns and do whatever they want with them."

TRENTON — As a committee hearing on new gun-control legislation began winding down Thursday, three state senators started chatting amongst themselves.

What they didn't realize was the microphone was still on.

A recording of the exchange — which appears to be between Democrats Loretta Weinberg, Sandra Cunningham and Linda Greenstein — ended up on YouTube, and gun supporters said today they were upset by the remarks.

The recording opens with what sounds like a senator or staff member saying, "We needed a bill that was going to confiscate, confiscate, confiscate" — although it is not clear who is speaking or if this is what she is saying.
