1. Make arrangements for the gifts and money you receive. Even if you specify that you don’t want your guests to bring them, some people will. 9. Consider travel insurance. Not everyone needs it, but if you’re pregnant, have a medical condition, or plan to do “extreme” activities (like diving, bungee jumping, etc), a policy might be a good idea. The one you have now likely doesn’t cover travel-related accidents and you’ll have to pay special fees for out-of-area doctors.
