A Little About Me

Hey ya'll! I just wanted to let you know a little about me and my blog. Umm.. I can't say a whole lot, but here are some basics...

Elle Bridely isn't my real name. Let's just get that out of the way. I'm using it for now, because, although we've been planning for quite a while, my honey and I aren't "technically" engaged, and therefor, my mom doesn't know anything about any of the planning I've been doing lately. My mom's really important to me, and I don't want her to accidentally run across my blog and blow all of my surprises out of the water.

A little about us... My honey (known from here on out as "Mr. E") and I have been together almost two and a half years. We have an adorable little boy who is the air we breathe. Um, Mr. E and I met at a friend's house and instantly became best friends, and have remained so ever since. He really is the best guy I've ever met. He's a great boyfriend, a wonderful father, a great housekeeper (yes, really!), and he'll make a great husband one day.

We've just recently started seriously talking about getting married. Mr. E. told me a few weeks ago that he wants to marry me, but he wants me to have a wedding I'll be proud of. He said he doesn't want me to look back and think "I wish we would have...". So I started planning, of course. There are a few things about our wedding that I don't even really have to plan, because I know exactly what I want. My dress, for instance, was found like a year and a half ago, and I haven't looked back. We want an outdoor, country (NOT redneck, NOT trashy) wedding. It won't be a huge affair. Just large enough to stress me out.

So, that's my 'hello!' I'll be posting some things in the next few days to show you what I'm wanting!
