Honduras Visits

BUSY SEASON! For the past week New Covenant Community Church (Delta, PA) has been hosting the Honduras leaders and pastors from Sandy Bay Lighthouse Ministries. There stay has been very successful, especially with the concert last weekend that featured Don Shire. You can learn more about his ministry through www.donshire.com. This has been a busy season for Bridge Connections as I (Nathan) also spoke last weekend at the Chinese Bible Church of Maryland (Rockville, MD) at their annual missions conference.

Great Report from Roatan

My Dad just sent me an e-mail today that this morning he had a skype conversation with the team in Roatan – he writes,

“Nate, I was able to skype the team for the first time this morning. They are having a remarkable time. They led 5 people to accept Christ on their home visits yesterday. They all seem very energized with the passion and love of God. Its awesome to witness. Love Dad”

Also a message from Pastor Art, “Dear Congregation, I was able to text Pastor Art this morning and got a report on the team’sprogress. They were able to do additional framing than expected–thanksto a contribution outside our church. They made their first home visitsyesterday and delivered some of the goods sent down. They will be doing aprogram in the local school tomorrow. Everything is goingwell—-please continue to pray”

Roatan Team Arrives Safely

Our team of 9 Transformational Travelers from New Covenant Community Church arrived yesterday safely at the site – Roatan, Honduras. Last night after eating dinner and settling in they were gearing up to attend the evening church service – please pray for the team this week as they serve the children at Sandy Bay Lighthouse Ministry and reach out to the community sharing the message of Christ.

Gift Sent to FDLM

Thanks to our generous monthly donors we have been able to send financial support this month to Father’s Divine Love Ministries in Jinja, Uganda. This support will go towards the schooling fees and food supply for 50+ orphans that are under the care of FDLM.

July 20th Orientation Meeting
