This card says it all! Sending all the love to Altenew! We all have a unique story, stamp set, or way we found ourselves obsessed with this phenomenal community Altenew has created. Altenew has changed my life in so many ways. During a very dark time, when I lost my husband, Altenew was why I got out of bed some days to see friends at a virtual workshop. I have no words for how thankful, grateful, and blessed I am to be surrounded by my Altenew family and friends. Enough of the mushy stuff. Let’s get on to the card!!

This card encompasses many of my favorites. Firstly, the large floral and sentiment come from the latest Craft Your Life kit, Delicate Garden. Within this kit, you have large beautiful florals and gorgeous sentiments. I used the newest Artist Markers from Altenew, Set J: Mystic Garden, to color my floral. Having a set of markers with Martian Terrain made my crafty dreams come true!! I used each of the color families on this card. Additionally, I added Buttercream, Vanilla Cream, and Warm Sunshine for the flower centers. I added leaves from the new Leaf Essentials die set to finish the arrangement. I absolutely adore these small die sets that pack a crafty punch at a lower price point. I tried adding the leaves as plain white cardstock, but they were too white. Coloring the leaves with my Natures Wonders Artist Markers was just the touch. When placing the leaves, I trimmed some to create my own leaf clusters around the floral.

Hello everyone, and welcome to this fantastic hop blossoming with inspiration! The hop begins at the Altenew Card Blog, and you should have arrived from the blog of Svitlana Shayevich.

This project highlights the Beautiful Baroque stencil. There is also a 3D embossing folder that coordinates with the stencil, but sometimes I love the look of just using the stencil. From Martian Terrain, I used Pastel Sunrise and Canyon Clay. For the final layer, I blended on Antique Gold pigment ink and heat set with Crystal Clear embossing powder. For my sentiment, I used Holiday Greetings complete bundle, which contains a hot foil plate and the coordinating die set with brown hot foil.

My second project used the gorgeous Dancing Sunflowers set. The sunflower used Buttercream, Warm Sunshine, Caramel Toffee, and Paper Bag. The centers of the flowers used Milk Chocolate. I applied lighter with the first stencil and much darker with the layer. My leaves used Misty Moor, Marshland, and Sea Forest. The sentiment was stamped with Obsidian pigment ink. The final touch was splattering Jet Black ink spray onto the panel before adding the image with Instant Dimension Foam Tape.

For this project, I began by splattering the background with Jet Black ink spray and set that aside. Next, I started working on my focal image. I stamped the beaker with Silverstone ink and used Rose Petal with the coordinating stencil. I added the stamped details with Obsidian pigment ink to finish my beaker. I used the coordinating dies to cut out the beaker. For my sentiment, I chose one from the set, stamped it in Obsidian pigment ink, and heat set it with Crystal Clear embossing powder. I picked a coordinating cardstock from Pink Brilliance to frame the sentiment. I used instant dimension foam tape on the back of the sentiment and beaker. For my bubbles coming from the beaker, I used the Rose Petal enamel Dots.

My final project for this release used the Radial Circles cover die. For those that have visited my blog, you guys know I love a puzzle! This was super fun and relaxing activity for a rainy day! I used Altenew cardstock: Apple Red, Deep Iris, Forest Glades, Navy, Orange Cream, Turquoise, and Warm Sunshine. Before cutting the Navy cardstock, I added double-sided adhesive to the back. I layered together two panels to create an inset for my circles. For my sentiment, I chose “Ciao” from Hello Friend. I stamped this with the beautiful Chamomile ink. I added Instant Dimension Foam Tape behind my sentiment before adhering.

Hello everyone, and thank you for checking out these fantastic new ink pads! I am so honored to share a couple of projects with you today.

The blog hop begins at the Altenew Card Blog. You should have arrived from the blog of Jennifer McGuire.

I began this panel by ink blending the Frosted Foliage family onto an A2 panel of 80# Neenah Classic Crest Solar White cardstock with a large blending tool. I splattered Iridescent ink spray onto the front and set it aside to dry. I die cut both layers (Brushed Gold cardstock & Vellum with a double-sided adhesive) with the “You” from You Matter die set. I used Pure White embossing powder with embossing ink to stamp a partial sentiment from Sentiment Strips 2 onto the panel once it was dry. I trimmed the panel with my Tonic Deckle Edge trimmer to 4 x 5 1/4. Instant dimension tape adhered to the back of the Frosted Foliage panel. Using my color wheel, I picked the beautiful Fuchsia ink and blended it onto o an A2 panel of 80# Neenah Classic Crest Solar White cardstock with a large blending tool. I allowed this to dry before adhering to the Frosted Foliage panel. Finally, I peeled my double-sided adhesive from the back of the vellum and adhered the phrase into place.

On this project, I wanted to show you how beautifully these inks stamp and blend! I used the fantastic Shrub Rose stamp set with Blue Mountains and Frosted Foliage ink families after stamping with Obsidian Pigment Ink. My background ink blended the Woodland Escape family on an A2 panel of 80# Neenah Classic Crest Solar White cardstock. Once I blended the ink, I used Iridescent spray to splatter the panel. The leaves were adhered flat to the panel, while the sentiment and floral used instant dimension foam tape. The sentiment is from Sentiment Strips 2, heat embossed with Pure White embossing powder using embossing ink. Finally, it was cut with the Featured Sentiments die.

I’m so excited to share this card with the amazing new hot foil plates to coordinate with the previously released Build-A-Flower: Wild Rose.  The touch of Altenew Enchanted Gold foil is the perfect accompaniment to the  Peach Perfect and Coral Bliss flower with Minty Mint leaves.  A piece of Navy card stock was 3D embossed with the Deck Planks 3D embossing folder.  My sentiment is from the amazing Versatile Greetings hot foil set.  

I continued with my love of Navy card stock for my next card from this amazing release.  I started with a piece of Neenah Classic Crest Solar White 80# card stock.  The plant image was stamped in the lower left hand corner with Pure Graphite ink.  I used this because I knew I wanted to use the artist markers.  For coloring I used the Tropical Forest Family, Arctic, and Dew Drops.  Under the vase I added a bit of Limestone for a shadow.  I stamped the sentiment with the same Pure Graphite ink before using a deckle trimmer to cut my panel to 4 x 5 1/4.  The deckle panel was adhered with Instant Dimension Foam Tape.

This is one of my absolute favorite stamps from this release.  For the Cherry Blossoms Bunch image I used Martian Terrain and Natures Wonders.  For my flower centers I used my Gold Must Have Gel Pen.  The sentiment is another from versatile greetings using Altenew Enchanted Gold foil. ​

Triangle Madness was another super fun puzzle set.  There are so many ways you can use these dies to create different looks.  I die cut all three dies from Neenah Classic Crest Solar White 80# card stock.  I added “thanks” from Versatile Greetings, this time with a beautiful rainbow foil. ​

I had so much fun putting this card together!  It reminded me of the hours of my youth dedicated to Tetris!  The Tessellation Puzzle die set is years of fun!!  I used the following cardstock to create the image: Warm Sunshine, Turquoise, Orange Cream, Hydrangea, Forest Glades, and Velvet.  I added foam tape to the back of each of the individuals images and adhered onto the panel.  I used another sentiment from Versatile Greetings with Enchanted Gold hot foil.  Can you tell that is one of my must have sets?  ​

For this project I used the beautiful Sunshine Blossoms 3D EF with Neenah Classic Crest Solar White 80# card stock. I added a trio of sentiments from Versatile Greetings with rainbow foil. Sentiments can be the focal image!

Gracious Peonies is one of my top ten favorites of 2022, maybe of all time. And as a super fan of Altenew, I know what that means! I used the Starry Patterns 3D embossing folder for my panel. My florals used: Martian Terrain, Pocketful of Sunshine, Northern Shore and Natures Wonders. All of my favorite colors!! I added a hello from Versatile Greetings with Enchanted Gold hot foil. That and the Rose Gold are my faves!

My final card showcases the beautiful Swallowtail Butterfly die set. This set allows you to create three different Swallowtail Butterflies. I used two different families of alcohol ink for my butterfly and my background. Butterflies: Sugarplums and Fall Harvest – Background: Sea Shore & Tropical Forest. To finish my card I used two more of the Versatile Greetings with Enchanted Gold hot foil.

Hello everyone, and thank you so much for joining me today! I am so excited to share my projects with you! This hop began at the Altenew Card Blog, and you should have arrived from the blog of Laurie Willison.

I am so excited to be part of this amazing hop celebrating one of my favorite product lines at Altenew! For my project I ended up using three different adhesives, 2 in 1 precision glue pen, instant dimension foam tape and my absolute favorite EVER glue tape pen.

The card panel started as an extra piece of cardstock I used while I splattered Jet Black spray onto another project. It was too gorgeous not to use, but needed something. That is where the 2 in 1 precision glue is the hero of the card. I wanted to add small splatters to mimic what I had on the card. I squeezed a dollop of glue onto a stamping block and then used a paintbrush to splatter the glue onto the panel. Once I was done splattering I added Antique Gold embossing powder and heat set. You can also squeeze this glue onto your project and let it dry as it will become tacky. This glue pen is definitely a work horse in your craft space – and a super great price point!

My sentiment is the Mega Hello die cut with Jet Black and Gold Foil cardstock. I offset the Jet Black cardstock in the back of the Gold Foil. I love using my glue tape pen on projects like this. It allows me to pull up my paper if I have adhered it crooked. Once this glue tape dries, it is super strong and permanent! This adhesive is great for holding things temporarily or permanently due to the pattern in the adhesive.

The final adhesive used in the Altenew adhesive trifecta is the amazing Instant Dimension Foam Tape. I may have a reputation for using LOTS of this! I had once card panel sink 27 years ago and have sworn it will never happen again. I trimmed my tape to fit behind my sentiment and adhered the project all together. Voilà!

I must warn you…I got into my Rainbow Prism ink set from Altenew for this amazing release! This is probably my all-time favorite six-cube set that Altenew has ever made! This newly released Tulip stencil coordinates with the previously released Tulip 3D embossing folder. I die-cut Gold Foil card stock with the Fancy Thanks die to finish my card.

The Daisies stencil was another that coordinated with a previously released 3D embossing folder. I still had my Rainbow Prism on my desk and thought it would be very pretty! I added the Handwritten Hello die cut from Gold Foil cardstock to finish my card.

I loved this stencil so much that I created two different cards with it. This gorgeous Gentle Butterfly stencil coordinates with the previously released 3D embossing folder. I used Warm & Cozy with Espresso for the butterfly. The leaves were colored using Bamboo and Parrot inks from the Tropical Forest family. My sentiments came from the Block Sentiments stamp set and were heat embossed with Obsidian Pigment Ink and Crystal Clear embossing powder.

This card was created in my traditional portrait position. I used Warm & Cozy for my leaves and Sea Shore on my beautiful butterfly. Espresso was used again on the butterfly body. I also used another sentiment from the Block Sentiments stamp set. The sentiment was stamped with Obsidian Pigment ink and heat set with Crystal Clear embossing powder.

This is the new Poinsettia Cluster 3D embossing folder. The folder was used with Spicy Yogurt cardstock. I love the added texture you get with this amazing cardstock! I used my artist markers to color the image in Red Cosmos and Pocketful of Sunshine. To finish the panel, I added white splatters with Copic Opaque White. My sentiment is from Festive Tree. It was stamped with embossing ink and heat set with Antique Gold embossing powder.

These next two projects were created to share the excitement about the new enamel dots in the Altenew shop! I chose to use Red Sunset for this project. I used the Mega Hello die and cut it from Neenah Classic Crest Solar White 80# cardstock. I used the Red Sunset family to ink blend the phrase. For my background, I used the Angled Mosaic 3D embossing folder. Finally, I added three clusters of enamel dots in Blush.

I chose to work with Lapis Lazuli in Arctic for my second project with the enamel dots. I used the Layered Snowflakes 3D embossing folder with Neenah Classic Crest 80# cardstock. I added enamel dots in all three sizes to the center of my snowflakes. For my sentiment, I used the Winter Wishes set with Antique Gold Pigment Ink and Crystal Clear embossing powder. I trimmed my panel to 4 X 5.25 and added foam tape to the back before adding it to my card panel.

I began by stamping one of the images with Obsidian Pigment ink. I then used the stencils to color the image, colors are listed below.

Floral: Buttercream, Sunray, Chamomile with Caramel Toffee for the flower center.

Leaves: Bamboo & Parrot

I used the available add-on die to cut the image. I added foam adhesive to the back before putting the image onto a panel which used Organic Linen 3D embossing folder. The sentiment is from the set and was die-cut using Featured Sentiments dies.

I began by die-cutting all of the layers of Tulip Full Bloom from Altenew Blends paper. I am obsessed with this pack! What is your latest Altenew obsession? I would love to know in the comments. Once I assembled each of the components I chose two papers from the Dreamy patterned paper pack. I laid out all of the pieces until I found a layout I was happy with. Then, I chose to use Bold Greetings for my sentiment.

Next up we have CYL: Floral Acanthus. This set stamps AND cuts everything all at once! How super duper cool is that? The images were stamped with Obsidian Pigment ink before using the coordinating stencils. Pink combo: Frosty Pink, Blush – Purple: Amethyst and Grape Agate – Orange: Sunkissed, Orange Cream, and Autumn Blaze. I used two of the flourishes along with the floral image. For my sentiment, I chose one of my favorites from the set. I just adore the little heart image at the end. To finish my project I added some black enamel dots to my panel.

The MD: Creative Cookie was the next item I chose to work with. I had an idea of the cookies being on a cookie sheet. I created a cookie sheet with layers of cardstock around the edge of my “sheet”. I used some aluminum foil from the kitchen to cover the cardstock. I regret using the glue tape pen as it left an impression. Next time I would use the double-sided adhesive sheets to not have any pattern show through. There is always a fix! My gingerbread couple were stamped with Blush and Pink Diamond. I used the coordinating dies to cut out the happy couple before adding them to the cookie sheet.

For my background I used a snowflake stencil with Antique Gold pigment ink. I stamped the sentiment with Obsidian Pigment ink and used the coordinating die to cut out “cookie” from a piece of Pink Brilliance cardstock.

A piece of ink smooshed watercolor cardstock has been living on my desk for a bit. When I saw the PAF: Hibiscus I knew the reason I had saved this panel! I stamped one of the images onto the panel using embossing ink and heat set with Antique Gold embossing powder. I repeated the process with one of the awesome sentiments from the set before cutting it out with Featured Sentiments dies.

I used vellum with Just Leaves dies to add some interest behind my Hibiscus. I created a panel with Organic Linen 3D embossing folder to adhere all of my elements.

The first fantastic item I chose to work with is the new Poinsettia & Berries. I love the “accessory” images in stamp sets. I often call them the bridesmaids. They are just as amazing as the main stamps, but sometimes they don’t get to be the show’s star! You guys know I love to spread the crafty love to all the stamps, dies, etc., etc.! The image was stamped with Jet Black ink and colored with my Artist Alcohol Markers, and then I cut the image using the coordinating dies. I chose a sentiment from the set, stamped the image with Antique Gold pigment ink, and heat set with clear embossing powder. I die-cut the sentiment with the Featured Sentiments die set. A 3.75 X 5-inch panel was embossed with the Tiled Chevron 3D embossing folder. I added the panel to a red holographic A2 (4.25 x 5) inch panel.

The gorgeous Shrub Rose stamp set was the next set I had to use in my design package. The image and leaves were stamped with Obsidian pigment ink. The floral was stamped using Blush, Pastel Sunrise, Burnt Red, and Mahogany Bark. I used Misty Moor, Marshland, and Sea Forest for the leaves. Once the images were stamped, I “cranky-cut,” aka fussy cut the images. I stamped two of the sentiments and used the Featured Sentiments dies. To create the chunkier base, I partially die-cut, slid the die up and cut the other side. I love how this technique extends the uses for one of my favorite die sets. I embossed an A2 panel with the Layered Snowflakes 3D embossing folder to finish the card.

I stamped the Festive Tree image using Mountain Mist and Blush inks. The image was die-cut with the coordinating die set. Additionally, I die-cut an image from Dazzling Diamonds cardstock and offset this behind the stamped image. The large star from the set was used to die-cut Brushed Silver cardstock. Every tree needs a star, right? My sentiment was stamped with Mountain Mist ink, trimmed, and layered over a thin piece of Dazzling Diamonds cardstock. Since the Tiled Chevron 3D embossing folder was already on my desk, I used it again for this project. I LOVE how versatile this folder is.

As soon as I saw the Mistletoe Wreath image, I knew I wanted to use my Artist Markers to color it in. I stamped the image with Jet Black ink and chose my colors. Even though the image is Mistletoe, I thought it would look stunning in fall colors. I used Sea Shore, Warm & Cozy, and Shades of Purple. The branch was colored using Coffee Break. For the sentiment, I used a piece of Dark Chocolate cardstock with Antique Gold embossing powder. I layered the panel behind the opening in the wreath. I sprayed an A2 panel with Frosty Pink Metallic Ink Spray for the background. The image was adhered to the panel with foam tape.

What is winter without a little glitz and glitter? I used Brushed Silver, Pink Brilliance glitter cardstock, and Dazzling Diamonds with the Layered Snowflakes 2 die set. For my sentiment, I trimmed the Fancy Enjoy die just to say “joy” from Brushed Silver cardstock. The background was created with Mountain Mist and Frosty Pink Metallic Ink Sprays. I fell in love with how my background came out. I still have a couple that have taken up residence on my desk, waiting for the perfect card.

Hello everyone, and thank you so much for stopping by! I am excited to share my love of Altenew’s Alcohol Inks today. For the blog hop, you should have begun at the Altenew Card Blog and arrived from the blog of the lovely Rosie Neustaedter.

For my project, I chose to focus on two sets of Altenew Alcohol Inks: Sugarplums and Fall Harvest. I began with glitter yupo paper for my base. I added each of the shades across my panels. After applying the alcohol ink, I would use a blower tool to move the ink on my panel. As needed, I added in a blending solution to effortlessly have my colors blend. I used the newest Craft-A-Flower Open Peony when the panels were completely dry. I cut multiples of some of the leaf dies.

I ran a piece of Spicy Yogurt cardstock in my Organic Linen 3D embossing folder through my die-cut machine. Finally, I arranged my pieces onto my panel.

I have been creating projects lately without sentiments. Sometimes I enjoy sending a notecard to a friend. My sentiment will be evident in the personal note I write on the inside. Other times, I wait until I am about to send the card, so I am aware of the specific occasion. Too many times, I have been caught needing a birthday card, and the sentiment is for a thank you. When you guys create cards, I hope you will allow some to shine without a sentiment!
