Ben Z. from Los Angeles sent us these photos of his wife’s bike, Katy. She enjoys riding around on a 2004 Triumph Thruxton. Here’s what Ben had to say about Katy:

Her name is Katy and has been riding since she was a kid. She grew up riding a Ninja and when she moved here to Los Angeles, she decided she wanted more of a cafe bike. She and I usually take weekend trips on our bikes, (I ride a Sportster). She loves her Thruxton, whether if it’s riding to Julian, San Diego to have some apple pie, Big Sur with friends to go camping, or just across town for a milk shake.

We see that Katy really loves her bike, because we can see all the work she’s put into it. Looking for an affordable way to increase the power to her bike, Katy installed the British Customs Air Box Removal Kit. She also upgraded to the BC Wide Rear Wheel Kit to provide better stability for the increased power.

Katy didn’t forget about the look of her Thruxton. She cleaned up the rear end of her Triumph with the BC Lucas Fender Eliminator Kit. To complete the look to the back end of her bike, she installed square turn signals. To add more comfort for her passengers, maybe for her husband Ben, she installed a chrome sissy bar. Katy also upgraded to a Sixty8 Series seat to further customize the look of her bike.

Mirrors were upgraded to CRG Folding Billet Bar-End Mirrors, great for easy storage or tight parking situations. Additionally, Katy installed a fly screen in the front and replaced the front brake reservoir with a more durable, high quality one.

Thanks for sharing these pictures of your wife and her Thruxton, Ben. These are great photos. We hope you and Katy continue to enjoy riding around from place to place together.

Check out this beautiful Triumph Motorcycle from Marc D. in Burbank, Calif. We’ve got a big fan in Marc, nearly all his parts come from British Customs, the other parts are custom parts homemade in his own garage. Here’s what Marc had to say about British Customs:

Ninety percent of my parts are BC. The other 10 percent, I made, and the seat I had upholstered. There is no better company to work with than BC. Jason and Sean know their sh*t and are there for you if you have any questions. Class act people, class act company.

Taking a closer look at his bike, we can see he put his focus on the styling, and we have to say, it looks real good. Marc used the British Customs Rear Turn Signal Relocation Brackets and the BC Turn Signal Harness to remove the bulky stock turn signals and upgrade to square turn signals. The BC Rear Turn Signal Relocation Brackets allowed Marc to relocate turn signals to the upper stock mounting pivot point, and the BC Turn Signal Harness allowed him to upgrade his turn signals without any splicing or wiring needed. He finished off the tail end of his Triumph by installing a Lucas Style Tail Light with a chrome finish.

To give a more vintage look to his Bonneville, Marc installed the British Customs Mock Monza Gas Cap. Continuing with the retro theme, he additionally installed a chrome cam cover, chain guard, and oil filler cap. For more convenience and better accessibility, Marc installed the BC Quick Release Screws and the BC Quick Release Side Cover Screws, which allow him to access under seat storage, and the ability to remove his seat and side covers with ease.

For the front of his bike, Marc enhanced the styling of his bike with a chrome headlight visor. To further enhance the cafe racer style he desired, Mark installed British Customs Oval Mirrors, and a Clubman handlebar. Finally, Hagon Classic Shocks provide upgraded stability with a shock bolt dress up kit to finish off the look of his bike.

He sent us some information and photos of his bike so we can share it with you all.
Ben started off by installing the British Customs Predator Exhausts to improve performance and sound. For further increased power, he removed his air box and installed two high-flow K&N filters. Ben was able to stabilize handling with the Norman Hyde Steering Dampener, and upgraded back shocks.

Using his own design, Ben removed his rear fender, used smaller turn signals mounted to brackets that he made himself! He also installed European style mirrors, upgraded tires and brake pads, Pazzo Racing Adjustable Levers and an LED taillight.

Thanks Ben for taking the time to share your bike and video with us!

Philippe put in a lot of work in his Speedmaster. He polished the fork, triple clamps and the edge of the wheel, then painted the center of the wheel and fork cover in black. Rear shocks, Saddle and exhausts were also additionally modified. He also cut the rear mudguard, bullet blinker and he still has much more planned.

We can tell that Alex R. from Jersey City is a big fan of British Customs! So, we’re really glad he sent us these pictures of his 2010 Triumph Bonneville.

Here’s what Alex had to say to us:

“I decided to go with the base white Bonneville so I could customize it to my preference. Fortunately the good folks at British Customs had all the perfect bolt on parts to give this modern classic a more sporty feel while keeping it true to the black on white combo I was looking for.

In addition to the BC parts, Joker Machine LED tail lights, turn signals and indicator lights were added. “I also powder coated black the stock headlight bowl and BC Lucas tailight. Photos we’re taken at liberty state park with great views of NYC.”
