CoverGirl Tone Rehab Foundation - I can't do the whole heavy and cakey foundation thing. It literally drives me crazy when I wear a heavy foundation. I don't like the heavy, tight, almost constricting feeling that heavy foundations leave on my skin. Not to mention that my skin usually breaks out like mad from heavy foundations. This is why I am a true fan of light weight foundations and tinted moisturizers. The latest light foundation that I have been using is the new CoverGirl Tone Rehab 2-in 1 Foundation. The latest edition to the CoverGirl and Olay family is a smart foundation that helps to "cover discolorations, lines and wrinkles and improve skin tone over time" by infusing a hydrating Olay serum into the foundation.

My main inspiration for trying this foundation out was because of the cover shot of Rebecca Romijn on Fitness Magazine. Her makeup looked AMAZING and I noticed that they used the CoverGirl Tone Rehab 2-in1 Foundation for her flawless looking skin. When I used this foundation I instantly fell in love with the smooth, creamy texture of this 2-in1 foundation because it goes on evenly and feels as light as air on your face. It easily covered my imperfections (which is no small task!) without settling into fine lines and wrinkles. I also found that the foundation shade matched my complexion flawlessly, so you know there was no weird "foundation line" under my jawline. Since we have been experiencing an incredibly mild winter up here in the northeast, I feel like I should be pulling out my spring clothes and shoes! My Must Have Outfits For Spring 2012

There is no better site in the would for those of us with the winter blues than the beautiful, bright and colorful windows displays of our favorite shops like Banana Republic. This is one of my favorite new "desk to date" looks from Banana Republic. This look consists of the Banana Republic Cowlneck Print Shift dress paired with a super smart and stylish Chunky Open Placket Long Cardigan. Worn alone, the dress is perfect for a night out while the cardigan makes this outfit look office appropriate and stylish! Add some of your own accessories to create a look that is as unique as you are. Some of my favorite accessories are a clutch bag like a Coach or Louis Vuitton with an opened toed high heel shoe. Finally try keeping your jewelry to a minimum so you do not distract from the look of the dress.

When it comes to colorful spring tops my favorite is the Lucy Cowlneck sleeveless top in "Rose Apple." Maybelline Dream Bouncy Blush Review

The older I get the more natural I like my makeup to look. And while I require a bit more work and product to help keep me looking fresh and pretty I have had to come up with ways to be able to wear more makeup without looking like I am. As far as concealing old pimple scars, dark circles and uneven areas, (my god I've got a lot to hide don't I?), I rely on using more concealer and less foundation to help keep my complexion looking as "light" as possible. And to create the illusion of a "soft focus" finish that blurs away my fine lines I am totally dependent on primers and highlights. But my most recent change in my beauty routine and it is one that I shared with my mom, is to swap out my powdery blush for a creamy blush. Not only does a creamy blush deliver the truest natural looking flush but they are also ideal for "maturing" skin. I find that creamy blushes are not as drying as their powdery counterparts and they do not accentuate the appearance of my pores.
