This is a new bi-annual market featuring Niagara's much loved artisans! Sponsored by the Town of Pelham,

Thanks to all of our talented vendors, and fantastic shoppers who came out to join us for our final event at Market Square in St. Catharines. Our next market will take place on June 18th at the beautiful Southbrook Vineyards, when we join them for their annual Taste the Place event, 11am-5pm. Join us for this truly Niagara celebration.

We're Moving!!

Yes, that's right. While we love the gorgeous venue that Market Square is, we feel we need to move Brocante Lux to Saturdays.

Our final Brocante Lux market at Market Square, St. Catharines, will take place on May 27th, 2011, 11am-8pm.

Beginning on June 18th, we are excited to be joining SouthBrook Vineyards in NOTL from 11am-5pm for their annual Taste the Place event.

From then on, Brocante Lux will continue in partnership with Southbrook Vineyards on the final Saturday of each month, 11am-5pm. See dates on the right sidebar.

This will be our last market located at Market Square in St. Catharines. Come out and help us wrap up a great event at a great venue! Please note: the market is open 11am to 8pm, and the Swing Lesson starts at 7pm! Kids crafts are available (free). Contact Azra to book a space at either 1pm or 4pm. SO MUCH FUN!

Memories of Our Holiday Market

Our November 26th Market was phenomenal is so many ways. We had a fantastic turnout from the community and we were chalk full with amazing vendors and exhibitors.

The 'A Christmas Story' holiday classic film is near and dear to many in our community and it was a true honor to be part of the celebration. The St. Catharines Museum and RetroFestive.ca were a delight to work with and we are very greatful for their contributions. What a magnificent day!

With live smooth and sultry holiday music provided by Shea D Duo, Swing Dancing with Bee's Knees Dance, plus the gorgeous addition of an all original 1940 Chevrolet used in the filming of the movie (courtesy of Mr. Bud Phelan), and the presence of so many immensely talented designers and creators from our region, we had a spectacular display of art and history under the airy ceiling of Market Square.

Our Christmas Market is Gonna be Doozie!

We are beyond excited to announce our theme for our November 26th market. Are you ready?

Celebrating Niagara in Film, namely, in the legendary, A Christmas Story! Yes, it was partially filmed here (I'm always surprised at how many residents here are not aware of that. Well, we'd like to change that).

We are partnering with the fantastic St. Catharines Museum, who is bringing their exhibit including the actual screen-used Red Ryder BB Gun, Ralphie's glasses, script and rarely before seen photos (shot by the St. Catharines Standard).

In conjunction with the Museum, we have the good fortune of the intense fandemonium of RetroFestive.ca who has enthusiastically agreed to provide the exhibit with authentic costumes and props from the filming, as well as a full sized LEG LAMP replica to auction off!

Retro Festive owners Tyler and Jordie Schwartz are such fans, in fact, that they have made the ultimate Fan Film called Roadtrip for Ralphie which we will be screening snippits of at the market along with clips of the actual A Christmas Story movie. And, yup, there will even be a few fan items you can purchase for your own Christmas display! Not to be missed! We'll see you there :)
