I don't know if there has been a hotter summer but the kids sure don't seem to notice. They could be out in it all day. Our summer so far has been full of ball, ball, and ball. This is the last weekend of ball for a while as Jacks in playing in Regionals til Tuesday. Then we start packing and prepping for the beach. I started thinking about when we get back it will be time to start getting school supplies, uniforms, etc and wait a minute....where did our summer go again?~!~

Regardless of how slow or fast some of summer days seem to be one thing is for sure it is much more fun with friends. For the kids and of course for Mommy too.

The girls are such girly girls and love to play with other little girls. I hear things about AG, LK, CA, and EG often and so its always a treat to meet for the day and play away. Looking forward to all those late summer sells so I can stock up for next summer. Last August I got these cute dresses for the girls for only 5.00 and they fit perfect. I always think o wow there is no way Brooklyn can wear this next year bec I remember how huge the 3t looked when I held it up to her last summer but she came threw and grew right on track of course. One year makes such a difference when they are this little. It still is hard to believe I already have a 3,5, and almost 7 yr old. It truly seems like yesterday they were 3,1 and newborn. Trying to enjoy the moments and not get caught up in the past or the future is tough but worth the effort.

Some of my favorite outfits on the girls are homemade. I have found some amazing talent on facebook like this talented mom who makes the cutest custom clothes. This is a just a t-shirt and it turned out so cute.

As the official 1st day of summer is finally here I have been reminded the past few weeks why this season ties with fall for my favorite times of year.....

Sweet Tea just tastes better. Really Like McDonalds tea right now and for only 1.00 I don't have shopper's remorse like I do when savoring a frap at Starbucks which is over 5.00. What would I pick if given a choice...well depends on who's buying and how much sleep I got the night before!

That lightening bugs take me back to childhood in a matter of seconds. Taught Jacks the other night the art of catching them. I noticed every time either he or I saw one, we smiled. Not too many bugs I could smile about for sure. Okay maybe Lady bugs but they are cute and plus I can hear my papaws lady bug song still to the day when we would see them when I was growing up.

Water skiing on the lake when the water is as smooth as a baby's u know what. My fav is Greers Ferry but grew up on that lake so hard for me to appreciate the others in Ar in the same way. I would love to swing from rope off a tree into the lake like me and my Dad use to do. Another fav past time that makes me smile.

What about for the boys?

And for my son..well he has his own little style already at six. Very strong willed and such an individual which I love. He loves designer style denim, knuckle heads..has such fun hats that are so him, and vintage style tshirts. He also likes things that say who he is..like loud, different, fun, so I got him a knuckle head jumpsuit to wear in fall. I bought it online and was nervous about what his reaction would be but I so got the glee and squeal. He wants to wear it now even though we are in AR and almost 100 degrees. At least that is one thing I will have to look forward to the fall. Seeing him in that cute knuckle head jumpsuit with that little smirk and his Daddy just shaking his head at the fact I bought it and then that his son actually LOVES it. Yes he is such a traditional type of man.he doesn't like to stand out but likes nice things on..he usually is in a suit and tie so I've had to liven it up with fun patterns and colors. He is an Auditor so since he is a CPA not too many folks in his profession jump out of the norm. I was proud though because he has tried a few things out of his comfort zone. I felt very accomplished to get him in purple and in pink. He is coming around..it's only taken 15 years!

Frustrated by all the at home gigs the computer seems to throw out daily for ways to earn an income but then only to discover it would cost hundreds to make money. A must have in my opinion for all breastfeeding Moms is a great breast pump. It can save you a lot of frustration and time to be able to pump efficiently and effectively and this model will do the trick. It doesn't even compare to manual pumps. If wanting to breast feed I would recommend to all an electric pump and Medela is top quality and easy to find replacement accessories as well. Accessory kits are for sale at Target, Babies r Us and you might even be able to find new kits cheaper through online companies that just sale this type of stuff. You will need the suction cups, values, bottle kit, and storage system (either bags, bottles, etc) since this pump includes brand new tubing. It is not recommended that you use an accessory kit like tubing or valves that have been used. In my opinion as long as you have a new accessory kit which can be anywhere from 12-40.00 you will have all you need for a positive, safe and effective breastfeeding experience with this particular pump.Again this was only used a handful of times by my client who is a RN and this was taken excellent care of and sterilized.

Sometimes when I feel like I'm being pulled in a thousand directions I have to ask "why do i do it? Just in case you are new to my blog here it is again on the purpose of my small home business. Being a mom is a constant been there done that experience along with a lot of new bumps along the road. I am a stay at home Mom by day and a ebay business owner by night. I will have new listed for purchase as I consign hundreds of items for Mommies that just don't have the time but would love the extra cash! Also on my blog you will find tips, contests, and funny stories of course on Mommyhood adventures of many "been there done that moments" from our home to yours.In short: "Been There Done That" is a home based business where I sale for others and others come to me to buy. If done wisely you truly wouldn't have to spend much of anything to keep buying your family the new sizes they need is what I came to discover once I started selling on Ebay. So let's say you start with what you have now that is outgrown, have me sale it for you, take the money you earned and buy new stuff either through my site or ebay deals and then turn around and have me sale again and then its like the never ending cycle of not having to dig deep to dress your family amazingly cute for half the price. I also am a fan of boutique clothing so I tend to list it regularly because either I hunt it down on ebay/consingment sales or once it is off season at local shops then stock up. Call it an obession but I love KIDS CLOTHES! I spend a lot more time in their closets than my own and not sure why. I guess maybe reliving my days of dressing my baby dolls although I still enjoy playing house with my two girls there is something sweet about seeing them look so cute and taking pride in picking out their own clothes...yes already my 22 month old has an opinion and my five year old son thinks he is Mr. Cool. So I tell you all of this to say that with a family of 5, I felt like as their Mom it was up to me to figure out a way to make dressing them more affordable. We are very blessed as we have lots of little siblings and it just so happened that my 7 year old brother and 6 year old sister outgrows something just about the time my kids are ready for it, so I know that it is possible to have like new clothes that still look brand new! All it takes is a little more effort, spot treatment, some oxy clean to lift out any stains unseen at first, and hang to dry on the designer clothes to prevent fading and wash wear...it CAN BE DONE. I take great pride in the the things I list so take a look. From strollers,car seats, bouncer seats, bottles, toys, ride ons, play mats, bumbo seats, endless amounts of clothes of all sizes, maternity, infant must haves, playtables, etc....I have lots of options for you and the best part is you don't have to fight a crowd to look at it. Shop online or set up an apt to come to my house see so much more. I even can come to you as long as you give me the sizes you are looking for or what you are interested in. Stress free is my goal for you regardless if you are having me sale items for you or if you are wanting to shop with me. A lot of clients list things with me year round and some are just customers. Regardless I hope to make your load a little lighter because I've "BEEN THERE DONE THAT"!!
