Franken’s Questions for Sotomayor

Senator Al Franken convened a group of legal experts in order to prepare to question Judge Sonia Sotomayor for a possible appointment to the United States Supreme Court. Senator Franken previews a possible line of questioning around campaign finance reform. Senator Franken also considered asking Judge Sotomayor questions on judicial activism and net neutrality. Franken remarked that his question might in part depend on what has been asked already since he will likely be last to question Sotomayor due to his seniority within the committee. Senator Franken also expressed his support for cameras in the US Supreme Court - analysts believe Judge Sotomayor would support cameras whereas Justice Souter did not.
