	<title>Brown College Student Sells Handcrafted Chair for $3000</title>
	<description>MINNEAPOLIS – (March 17, 2009) This year marked the 7th annual &amp;ldquo;A Chair Affair” charity auction supporting the Boys and Girls Club of Rochester, Minn. &amp;ldquo;A Chair Affair” features hand-decorated chairs individually designed by artists from around the country. In support of the charity, interior design student at Brown College, Rhonda Charlson, donated her one-of-a-kind chair that she designed and built for the Furniture Design Concepts class.</description>

	<title>Brown College Broadcast Students Get New Scholarship</title>
	<description>Mendota Heights, MN (February 17, 2009) – Brown College announced today that the Dakota Radio Group and the listeners of KGFX have designated a donation of $8,500 to the Career Education Scholarship Fund, in support of Brown College students who embody a commitment to service and community. It has been established to honor the memory of Del Fisher. The award will be given in increments of $1,000 annually.</description>

	<title>Lauren Hale recently won the KDWB and Brown College “Wanna Be a DJ” contest</title>
	<description>Lauren Hale recently won the KDWB and Brown College &amp;ldquo;Wanna Be a DJ” contest. Lauren is a senior at Champlin Park High School and a Brooklyn Park native. She knew she wanted to get into radio after taking a music media class in school. The class allowed Lauren to voice and produce commercials. She is also a huge fan of Dave Ryan and plans on interning with him in the summer. Lauren is the oldest of four kids and likes hanging out with friends or playing her banjo and guitar in her spare time.</description>
