BACHELOR PAD 2: The Melissa and Molly Head-Fest 8-29-11 episode.

Tonight we pick up on Bachelor Pad 2 where we left off last week, with Jake being evicted, but we were cut off from the treat that was going to be Jake venting on his way out the door. Now, we get to see how Jake really handles himself on getting his ass kicked out.

He says everyone is sending the wrong guy home, and suggested that everyone needs to start taking out the power couples. He then said it was amazing to meet Kasey and he publicly apologized to Vienna. It wasn't as bad as I thought it was going to be with Jake leaving. Of course, Vienna gets to go on and on again, making a fool of herself in how she goes on and on about Jake. She thanked the crowd saying she knows they all did that for her.

And the preview for after the commercials shows, (you'll never guess who), Melissa snapping yet once again. Oh wait, it's a weekly hilight now.

ABC panders out the gang of the Bachelor Pad and they have another kissing contest.

Oh god... Michael hasn't kissed Holly since they broke up... now we're hitting up in weird territory indeed. He seems to think that they can both feel the love again. Holly said that the guys mostly all kissed like grandmas. Except for Blake, who promised to be doing tonsillectomies.

Ella said that No. 5 (Blake) was kissing like baby-making kisses. When it came to Vienna, even Blake "pecked" her. Michelle had pulled out of the contest. Then the girls showed their true colors.

ABC!!! Really, close-ups of the tonsil sucking. Everyone said that Kasey had bad breath. Michael picked out Holly pretty easy. Then Holly went for the gut... literally, especially with Blake. Dang... get them a room! NOW!!! Of course, the two "most aggressive" kissers, Ella and Blake, got roses.

I think someone needs to make a slasher filmed based on The Bachelor Pad. It's perfect. Stupid, pretty people answering the door when the doorbell rings, going off on dates and... not coming back. Eliminations being ... well, real eliminations.

Sorry, I drifted off there for a moment.

Ella is given a red Ferrari for the one-on-one date... and drives at about 20 mph down Mulholland Hwy. (Yes, I know the region very well and that's one of the funnest roads on the planet and she's doing 20 or 30 mph down the thing. Arrggghhhh!)

Ella takes Kirk on the one-on-one in this go-nowhere Ferrari ride... and in the end, they get in a hot air balloon that is tethered to the ground... so they didn't really go anywhere. Sigh.

Blake, on his date, after a warning speech about mixing things up a bit, he took Holly! WHOA!!!! Melissa instantly said that's F***ed up. But Holly is totally on-board with that. Then Melissa,well, does what she does best and that's snap and run off and start crying. I swear, she is the worse example for older ladies in this game. But then again, ABC knows what a firecracker this one is and brought her on board for all that ratings gold!!!

Michelle put it best. Some folks wear their emotions on their sleeve. Melissa wears her emotions on everything she wears, including her hair-ties and panties. LOL.

Melissa called Blake a sociopath... feathers of a bird ...

Blake and Holly hit up a ski-resort and she has a blast and makes a point of telling us she didn't think of Michael once. Dude, Michael, I know you're in head over heels, but you have got to grab your set, make a choice and move on and quit torturing yourself. This is the time that they say, love bites. It knows no boundaries and rips pieces out of your heart you didn't know you had.

Blake asks her about Michael, and has a waffle-like answer and then Blake asks her if she wants to stay overnight at the ski resort. Without hesitation, she says yes.

When Holly kissed Blake, she was using that as a gauge to determine if she felt anything for Michael. This woman is so fraking confused and not wiling to commit. Please Michael, see the light! (By now that I'm on beer no. 2.)

So Holly missed Michael, but still kissed Blake. This IS WHY she blew Michael off the first time. She's confused, doesn't know what she wants and will be nothing but trouble for him in the long run... again. This is why he left that second time around...

Hey Michael, have you ever thought that Holly is just a player? Just sayin'.

OMG, Kasey is pitching how winning the money will help his grandmother live. Seriously? Kasey is starting to hit up everyone just before the votes

Bachelor Pad 2 Rose ceremony:, I was shocked to see Kasey get a rose, but so be it... Those sent home tonight are William and the crazy, ratings maker, Melissa. Michelle is sad to see him go, but apparently she's not in the majority.

Melissa, well, I hope ABC called a wah-mbulance before the rose ceremony. She started balling, but then again, when isn't she? At least Blake is now feeling like he can play his own game.

Big Brother 13 recap from Sunday - Shelly's Fight With Jeff and Tonight's HoH Winner is...

Tonight's episode of Big Brother 13, we got to see the blow up that took place between Jeff and Shelly. We got to see how the turncoat dealt with Jeff when he addressed how she flipped to Daniele's side.

Shelly really pitched her duality of team loyalty.

As we all know, Shelly sided with Daniele and ousted Jeff in the long run last week.

So it was great to see that spat that we never saw last week, but then we started getting a total recap of the last episode. A rather useless amount of time spent. But then, if you haven't noticed before, there is a certain amount of rehashing in reality TV. This was rehashing on steroids.

We then have to relive the eviction of Daniele... which isn't that bad, then we get to see Kalia win HoH... again. And then the Jeff eviction again. Shelly's claiming it's for her kids and her. Eh. She didn't plan this out right.

But the first 25 minutes of the ep included 10 of new and 15 of stuff we already knew.

OMG, poor Adam, as Jordon and Rachel to into the room he's in and start balling it out.

But then Shelly is balling it out in her new alliance's room, but Kalia says there's no crying in Big Brother.

Then Shelly came in to talk with Jordan and Jordan snapped. I mean snap!!! Rachel had to pull Jordan out of there because like Rachel, I thought that Jordan was going to go to town on Shelly and give her a beat down. Good move Rachel!!! Wha! Rachel just did a smart thing?

The HoH competition involved rolling a ball down a board in the shape of a snake.

It's weird how in one part of the Big Brother 13 season, yo can be rooting against some folks, but when it's down to the last few, you find yourself rooting for those same folks later!

Porsche had this game down pat... dang! Man, it's disgusting to see Shelly pump her fists when her new BFF Porsche keeps winning. (Sorry, yea, a bit biased!)

But now, Adam is burying his head up to his neck up Shelly's backside and the newbie coalition's a**, sticking with the power in the house. I guess he's turncoating on Rachel and Jordan, though technically, he's ridden the wave of the power in the house every week.

Jordan is convinced that she has a dark cloud over her head.

Porsche gets a Pandora's Box option. She goes into the room and picks the option that gives her $10k and has to split it with another house guest. But there's a down-side ... a duo's twist. Now people have to pair up. Rachel and Jordan, and Shelly and Adam are paired up. Porsche picks Kalia. And let me tell you, this will be big in the next episode.

Big Brother Thursday (8-25) TV Recap - Double Eviction Night!

As always, we watch the Big Brother recap of the previous episode events, focusing on Daniele kissing up to Jeff, but as we all know, Jeff won the veto and swapped out the nominations and put Daniele up.

And don't forget, tonight is the double eviction night!

It's funny to hear Rachel say that Daniele is pretty cocky and arrogant. Those are the very same terms I would use to describe Rachel in the first few weeks of Big Brother 13.

Daniele will be fighting for this and she will be focusing on Adam and Shelly.

Then we watch Shelly talking with Adam about the premise that Jeff and Jordan are too big of odds for them to make it to the final.

While watching these two talk, I started wondering out-loud, what if Adam won HoH... not that I'd think he would, but I'd love to see just what he'd do or who he would nominate if he became HoH.

Shelly is definitely stirring up the pot with Rachel, trying to turn her on Daniele's side by letting her know that Jeff threw the competition that got her hip-buddy evicted from the game.

Things don't look good for Jeff's plan to evict Daniele. But is that editing on the network's part. But the final speech, Daniele made a rather... vindictive little speech. Not hostile, just sharp-tongued.

Jordan voted to evict Daniele; Porsche - Kalia; Shelly - Kalia (So Shelly flips again); Rachel - Daniele; Adam is the tie-breaker ... votes for Daniele! Whew!!!

Bah bye Daniele. Chatting with Julie Chen, Daniele said that everyone is pushing Jeff and Jordon to win the game of Big Brother. But seriously, that's what each and every Big Brother winner has ever done, manipulated the house mice! But that's cool.

The Big Brother HoH competition was as memory game. Egads!

Adam went out first. Porsche, Rachel and Shelly all got dumped in the second round.

Kalia won the HoH competition. Bad news for Jeff while the turncoat Shelly celebrated with Kalia and Porsche.

They immediately gathered gathered and Kalia put Jeff and Rachel up on "the block."

Next, veto. It was a random grab game in a vat of balls. Porsche won and did not use the veto.

Jordan voted for Rachel, Porsche Jeff, Adam voted out Rachel and turncoat Shelly voted for Jeff. The votes are tied. Will anyone be surprised if Kalia votes out Jeff? Nah, she's playing with Daniele's brain and voted Jeff out of the house.

Jordan and Rachel are off in the kitchen balling their eyes out. Can't blame them.

Jeff had a good Big Brother exit statement with Julie Chen while Kalia and Porsche are not playing for themselves, but for Daniele.

Does anyone feel cheated that we never got to see the fight between Jeff and Shelly when he finally discovered she turned on them. Maybe that will be a recap/highlight in the next episode of Big Brother.

TV Recap: 'Big Brother' - So Did Jeff Win and Use the Power of Veto?

The usual recap of the past episode of Big Brother kicked in, and then, well, as the announcer calls it, Biiiiig Beruther.

Kalia made a point of thinking she is better at Veto competitions than Porsche and later, that she had a good feeling about whatever, unknown challenge will be coming up.

Rachel is on a mission to drive Daniele Big Brother crazy by hovering around her and constantly talking to her.

Jordan made a presentation of taking off that funky leotard.

And then the 'ZingBot 3000' thing returned. Oh goodie. The thing sounded effing annoying and quite lame. Lame. Lame. I don't know about you, but I really hate this thing. Now the house guests are playing along because, well, being isolated from all of society, just about anything will be welcomed. I'll never get these few minutes back... ever.

The Veto competition takes place in what they called the 'Zingbot Labs' and will be building a robot, another Zingbot. Crap. Just what we need, two annoying sounding things.

Did Kalia pull off what her gut feeling said. Will Jeff win and then "backdoor" Daniele. (It didn't sound right coming out of Daniele's mouth. They need a different phrase. Seriously.)

In the end, Jeff won the Veto competition. Now, the ass-kissing sessions begin! Again. Oh look, Porsche is going to double her talk-time with Jeff for the season and adding another 45 seconds of chat kissing it up to him.

It's time for the Big Brother Veto meeting. Different sound bites are tossed at us and Daniele swears that if she gets back doored, it will be a big mistake! (Um, yea, by who?)

Wow, Jeff used the power of Veto... on Porsche and replaced her with Daniele! Nice move!

Jeff always has very intelligent statements to say and they have such great meaning! Jeff made the great move of putting up Daniele and Kalia against each other.

The Bachelor Pad - A Gross Recap

So where do I start? Why am I calling it a gross recap? I think I picked the worse day of the week to buy my first HD flat screen TV ever. Some of the visual details from this prime time soft-porn were making me regret the purchase ... at least this early in the week!

But then, there's the synchronized swimming contest. The guys sure did kick butt over the girls, who had near to zero talent in this particular category.

Mike & Michelle won roses/dates. They took three people with them on their dates. Mike gave his rose to Holly, as shocking as that may be. Michelle gave her rose to Graham. I find it interesting that both rose receivers are basket cases that can't seem to commit. But that's just my take.

Later, Kasey and Vienna got into a hissing match... again. Then later in the episode, Kasey gave Vienna a 6 month anniversary gift. A promise ring...and all she can say before he opens it is that she doesn't want it to be an egagement ring. Cripes, she sure treats him like crap. Then Kermit (Kasey) sings a song for her.

Then again, we watch Erica creeping around... literally, and sneaking up on people to listen in on them. Wow... I think that's a new low for these reality TV shows.

Melissa is also drawing fire from her emotional spat outbursts. She then breaks down in the arms of Jake. Jake seems to think that all she wants is to be loved and someone to constantly comfort her. In her season of The Bachelor, all she ever did is cause commotion every single episode she was in. She's a serious case of high maintenance humanoid!

This week, Chris Harrison came in to let them know that the ladies are safe and everyone votes for the one man they want to leave. Mind you, the entire episode watched Jake spin his hopes with the women, including snuggling up to and kissing with Erica. She seemed pretty happy that she could use the lips she gets 6-month injections to. Priorities man.

Erican thinks that she and Jake could become the new power-couple after Jake fake-schmoozed with her. During the rose ceremony, we get another useless sound-byte from Vienna about being scared about Jake.

Of course, it's down to Jake and Kasey and to be honest, they two guys deserve each other.

And the last name called is Kasey, meaning that Jake is going home. Jake was saying that he was ready for anything and is ready to take a few people with him. In other words, a sad-ass loser.

But as they call out Kasey's name, the show cuts to credits, saving the juicy Jake-tantrum for next week in the next episode of The Bachelor Pad.

And once again, the closing credits, we get to see the masked bachelor creeping around the house. In this case, he does his own, solo sychronized dance in the pool.

BIG BROTHER 13 8-21: Jeff Conquers the House, Daniele Thinks She's Safe - HA!

This is another Big Brother 13 recap from Sunday night, August 21st.

HoH competition was that slip-sliding contest where contestants had to transport little cups of fluid until a big bowl was filled with the stuff.

Jeff knows the target on his back is big. Shelly keeps muttering her daughters name to herself to help motivate. Kalia seems to have a funny look on her face. Rachel realizes that she has no one in the house and has to win.

I have to wonder what Daniele is going to do with $500k if she wins.

After 90 minutes, Jeff power-housed into the win of HoH. Jeff looked pretty smooth, getting that sliding action down pat.

It was too funny to see Rachel bag on the others for looking so glum when they didn't win. HEY RACHEL, how many times have you balled your eyes almost EVERY time you lost something? Just askin'!

-

Jeff was a hoot... he asked if everyone wanted to see his HoH room? He yelled out, "Put on your fake face, like everyone else does and get up here!" Or something to that affect.

-

Everyone is on to Rachel... as the concur that Rachel is always the first one in the HoH's room, no matter who it is.

The have-nots got their hard-boiled eggs and Jalapenos. There were no have-nots, and Jeff is forced to pick three people in the house to be 'have-nots.' Daniele, Porsche and Kalia were who he chose. Daniele thinks she can't operate on slop.

Big Brother shrunk the dinner table that only seats 8 people now.

Jeff pointed out in the confession booth that for the first time in 49 days, Porsche started talking game-play with him. He has a very pragmatic sense of observation and I like that.

And who does Jeff Nominate for Eviction?

Kalia and Porsche. Jeff told Kalia two weeks ago he was targeting her for putting her on the block. Porsche, he told her she's only talked game for 1 minute in 49 days.

Now Daniele isn't too happy with her closest allies on "the block."

Jeff says if he gets the opportunity, he will back door Daniele and that will leave Kalia and Porsche to go off in a corner and start crying.

And that was tonight's Big Brother episode here in the household.

Big Brother Thurs 8-18: Does Brendon Leave Again?

Today we're wondering if Brendon is getting his ass evicted yet one more time from Big Brother? Well, does he? Read on and see what other maze-mice drama went on tonight!

It's after the veto meeting and Rachel starts crying again. Or is that still crying? Brendon does what he does best, his second day-job, trying to calm the loose bolt of the pair.

Brendon is talking fast with Adam... one of his examples for Adam as to why Adam should side with them is that they can win things that Daniele can't. Buuut, if you look carefully, they're in their position because they didn't win the veto competition. Do. The. Math!

While the eviction scrambles are in full-bore speed, Daniele is schmoozing up to Jeff and Jordan to cover her butt for the upcoming weeks.

Jeff chats with the Brachel team and tells them how it is, then snaps at Rachel for looking at him with 'tude. Accurately so, too.

Who ever gets evicted tonight, is the first member of the jury.

Shelly's daughter said in the family interview that mom has to stop lying. Poor kid doesn't know the life-blood of the game!

Julie Chen's necklace looks like a collection of old computer CD's that have been colorized.

The eviction vote goes as expected, with Brendon becoming the first juror. What an odd final speech he gave, but then again, anyone surprised.

Rachel starts to glaze over but her farewell vid to Brendon, she seems to have more intent... and says she's more level-headed with him gone. Seriously? Is there that much beer in the house?

The Big Brother HoH competition involved slippery slippers, a small container and slip-sliding back and forth while transporting liquid to fill up a bucket.

If you were a fan of LA Ink, you better brace yourselves. Kat Von D's tatoo series is getting the boot from TLC... NOT!!! Kat Von D has decided she's through with it and has chosen to not continue with the series! It really depends if you read the TLC press release or Kat Von D's Twitter account.

But on the bright side, Kat Von D is engaged to Jesse James... again. I don't have anything to say about that one...

BIG BROTHER, Wed 8-17 Recap of Snark and Corn Hole Games

And the Big Brother recaps began and ate up the first three minutes of the episode. Now that we're caught up, we've been reminded that Shelly and Adam were nominated.

Daniele is happy... no matter what happens, she's getting what she wants.   But Shelly is having a brain fart, forgetting she made a deal with Rachel and Brendon and is going on a new delusional tear that Rachel lied, saying that. Egads.

Then Shelly had one of those famous group pow-wows where everyone confronts everyone in the same room. It's amazing how many fables can come out of so few people trapped in an enclosed space.

Jordan, Kalia & Jeff were picked to play in the veto competition. Worst possible situation for Rachel and Brendon. (Man, they do not take adversity well!)

The game Corn Hole is up for the veto competition game. Everyone is dressed up in farmer gear and Porsche, the host, is looking pretty good yet again. Actually, most of the girls look pretty good in their country bumpkin shorts.

As folks get eliminated from the game, they pick stuff out of baskets of straw.

Shelly is first eliminated. Then Jordan. Then Kalia. Daniele. Then Jeff...   Adam wins the competition and takes the veto from Jordan, who gets to wear an embarrassing leotard for a week, Shelly gets a 24-hr isolation bit, but with a call from family. Kalia gets a vacation bit... so, as Jeff said, she can take a vacation from sleeping and Jeff got $5k.

Shelly is happy to be able to get her phone call from family because they're the most important thing to her... aside from her smoking which might pull her from them prematurely some day.

Her phone call was ratings-gold! Very touching.

The gang let Shelly out and it was a cute little reunion... and now, back to our regularly scheduled hate-fest. Then later, Brachel tries to wheel and deal with Daniele...

Now for the Veto meeting... Adam uses it on himself and Daniele puts up "the zombie in the house that just won't die," Brendon.

But all the editing seems to favor Daniele's desire to oust Brendon. That kind of editing always worries me. But we'll see how it goes... see ya later!

Chris Harrison chatted with TV Guide about some of the goings on around the Bachelor Pad house and the exits and the crying towel sessions. It's interesting with some of the things he puts out there in the interview.

On The Show

He talks about how the games in the house are adapted to things they see happening in the house. Not quick and immediate changes, but if they see a pattern, they might change up the show's script to take advantage of it.

On Vienna

With her saying ABC was cheating by not telling her about Jake, well, he said that she tried to stage a walkout. Chris says this won't the the last tantrum this season.

He also said that Vienna is making herself looking pretty bad when Jake keeps trying to make amends and she keeps blowing him off. He says she needs to just bury the hatchet and move on.

On Gia's Exit

Having found herself caught and on the receiving end of Graham and Kasey's game play, she plainly just got pissed off and left. Too rich.

On Kasey

Chris Harrison is getting a kick out of how Vienna thinks she's part of Kasey's plans and she's really not. That's from the guy who's in the house with the test rats.

REAL HOUSEWIVES Hubby Found Dead

Zoinks, in a reality TV twist that I'm sure some network exec will try to take advantage of sooner or later, the estranged husband of Taylor Armstrong, of Real Housewives fame, has been found dead in Los Angeles.

It would appear to be a suicide, as he was found hung. No note was found though and nothing is being ruled out immediately.

THE BACHELOR PAD 2: More Kasey vs Jake Noise on 8-15-11

So here we go again tonight, recapping another episode of The Bachelor Pad....

Kasey has plans on beating down Jake... one mental stunt at a time. Jake knows he has a target on his back and he thinks he's convincing people he's not as bad as they think he is.

The Competition

We go immediately to the competition called 'Target on your back.' They get asked questions and throw a paint-filled egg at the person the questions they feel, describes. Of course the camera work is great as they show the eggs being picked up and the viewer gets a great crotch shot camera angle. And it's not a given. Some shots go high and low.

Of course some of the shots miss or don't break when the girls toss the eggs. Man, Jake is just a short guy in the group of guys as they stand there in a line.

After a tie-breaker, Melissa wins for the women and Michael wins from the guys.

Thus ends another bikini clad excuse, I mean contest. Michael and Melissa won the roses and have to choose three people to take on dates, where they give more roses away on.

Michael's Date

Michael chooses to take Michelle, Erica, Holly (the ex) to a haunted hospital. The girls belt out a huge scream... for a mouse they saw. Michelle tries to tell Holly she thinks that Holly and Michael still have something going on. But seriously girl? Commitment phobics are bad news gang!

Michael still gives Holly the rose to keep her safe from elimination. (Head smack buddy, head smack!) He then has a heart to heart with her and she ends up asking him if he didn't feel like they were best friends. -ouch!-

Melissa's Date

Melissa takes Kirk, Kasey and Blake on her date for a boat cruise ride. Even though Blake is not into her, he has his sights on the money and plays her up. And Melissa is plotting with Kasey to save him so he can save her next week. At least at this stage of the show.

But instead, on the date, Melissa gives Blake the rose and Kasey is beside himself.

Desperation and Things

Jake is so desperate that he asks Vienna for help in trying to stay in the house. Or at least he tried... Vienna puts up a big show and declines walking outside with him and talking with him. (Yes, in case you haven't figured it out, I am a bit tired of this entire routine she's got going. I'm not saying it's wrong, just annoying to see

Misleading Confidence and Total Rudeness

Gia feels confident about the elimination round. We watch everyone pimp up with their eyelashes and eyeliners.

Jake finally gets to chat with Vienna (with Kasey attached to her of course) and Jake asks for their help to stay in the house, but after Jake says he's going to donate the winnings, Vienna goes for the throat and and calls him out for the $2-300k he owes from a failed business and then the Kienna team tag-teams and gets pretty rude about it all as Kasey goes pretty bad on Jake. Does he deserve it? Eh, who knows. Probably. But it also made Kasey look pretty bad to the house guests.

Before the Ceremony

Vienna starts complaining and called out ABC saying they didn't tell her that Jake would be there.

Here is why I think Chris Harrison is the best host in the world: He called out Vienna and said she doesn't have to stay, points out the exit doors and said he'll even call the cab for her. LOL. You go Chris.

Later, Kasey asks her if she wants to go home, but she tells the camera that Kasey is there, holding her up. (Didn't we see a preview last week where Vienna is ready to throw Kasey under the bus for the cash prize?)

Tonight's Elimination Twist...

Men will be voting a woman out and women will be voting a woman out. SO only two women go home.

But...

Kasey tries to give Gia some sort of honesty pep-talk and Gia snaps and goes after Graham. Graham calls out Kasey (though what's happened is that Kasey betrayed Graham's trust by telling her this crap) and Gia snaps. Then again, when isn't she crying? Seriously??? Gia heads out the door and Chris Harrison asks here what's up. And with a straight face, listens intently to Gia. The dude deserves a Klondike Bar!

And Gia bails, saying everyone is so malicious. (Didn't she remember the last Bachelor Pad? Just sayin.) She quoted Kasey saying he and Vienna are controlling the game, so Gia doesn't give them the satisfaction of voting her out.

Melissa got off the Blake bus and snaps... again. (Didn't she snap in her own season?) She wonders out-loud when she'll get her own special guy. I'm thinking if she quit hitting up national televised ho-action houses, she might find real men. But that's just me!

So with one girl already gone, there's only one that needs to get voted out now.

Elimination Twist-Twist. (No, Really!)

Jackie finds herself voted out. Jackie and Ames kiss and say goodbye. Then as the limo pulls away, Ames, with that silly grin on his face he always has, looks at the gang, shrugs his shoulders and runs after the limo and leaves with Jackie. One of the girls said something like OMG, they're going to go make babies. Ames said in the limo, "This will be the happiest limo ride in Bachelor history." And to think, on The Bachelor Pad 2 show! Ratings gold baby!!!

To be honest, I think that was THE most touching Bachelor scene I think I've ever seen in the franchise. Kudos to Ames since I didn't think he really did not belong in that house. And from what I understand, they're still an item today. It was too awesome and I hope they last longer than the usual 6-12 month time-frame that most couples usually last from the franchise.

That ends another snarky take on ABC's most eligible singles series!

Psst: Who do you think will go home next week? I'm voting for Jake. I think he would have gone home tonight if it weren't for the twist of sending home 2 women.

'KATE PLUS 8' Canceled by 1

It took longer than I expected, but the reality TV program from TLC, called Kate Plus 8, has been canceled. The plug has been pulled by the network and now mom will have to earn money via herself and not off her kids.

Once Kate and Jon started arguing and broke up, I did not like what I saw of their personalities from either side of this divorce. I saw how she spoke to him on the show before the crapola hit the fan and then BAM! Things went sour. I'm not saying it was all her. I'm just saying I didn't like the outward interaction from her end of the couch, so to speak. I could never get behind anything she did after that. I had been jaded!

But as it is, if you are a fan, the final season, which premieres September 12th, will be its last.

BIG BROTHER Snarky Recap from Sunday, 8-14-11

Brendon is happy he's back, Rachel, of course, is happy he's back. Jordan is happy too so she doesn't have to baby-sit Rachel. She said it was a full-time job keeping Rachel soothed. But Daniele is all grumpy and Kalia has come to the realization that Rachel always ends up on top.

OMG... get off the top of Brendan Rachel!!! We do not need to see that. Thank god I ate dinner already! But now, all the plotting begins. And what's up with Adam? Now he's jumping for joy with the veterans.

But now the stress in the house is about the HOH. Now if you've become a Jedi witness of the program editing, they keep showing the veterans saying now all they have to do is win HoH. Gads! If it's anything I've learned, when the editors start showing one thing, another happens.

But now, now that Brendon is back, he's being pretty loud and obnoxious about being back. Well, celebratory to be exact.

The HOH competition comes up and it is a guessing & counting game. And it's ugly for the veterans.

Rachel is eliminated first. (Now we wait for the crocodile tears) Jordan goes out next. The next one out is Brendon, then Jeff. Then Shelly. This is a nightmare for the alliance, and happy time for others.

And then Adam is eliminated and Daniele is pretty much safe from being booted. As she gloats happily in the game and in her private time booth interview.

And Daniele wins HoH. The darkness of glum sets in. Brendon said, at least it was cool to be in the house for a week. Rachel thinks she and Brendon won't be nominated because of a verbal truce with Kalia. We'll see.

Then the plotting begins along with some time-killing antics. Later, Brachel tries to talk Daniele into a deal.

In the end, Daniele nominated Shelly and Adam. Daniele fell for Brachel's bargaining.

Big Brother 13... And The Twists Just Keep Coming NOT!

We're a few weeks into Big Brother 13. The characters are set, the non-players have had their early evictions, and Rachel Reilly proves over and over again that when she doesn't get what she wants, she balls her eyes out. Can it get any better than that? Well, it can. I wish Evil Dick were around but as it is, his daughter, Daniele Donato, is.

I seriously have to wonder what fuze snapped in Lawon Exum's brain? Where in the world did he get the idea that he would be able to come back and have some sort of super power? Seriously? And instead of Lawon's plan, we get Rachel's trained puppy dog, Brendon Villegas, back in the house.

Is it me, or does Daniele looked like she's already been through a ringer since we last saw the cute little blonde a few years ago? I can't tell if life hasn't been good to her or she's just showing that nasty edged look better. At least she's almost up-front about hating Rachel.

With Lawon out, Brendon back, Brachel is a true threat and with Daniel's gang voting out Lawon, they've completely tipped the scales in the veterans favor.

Though I like Shelly Moore's game, she has to truly pick a side and stop spilling the beans. Her game play puts her at risk but first, the veterans will probably go after Daniele.

Me, I'm pulling for Jeff and Jordan. They are just too cute and need to keep the house alive. Plus I think Jeff Schroeder's private chats with the TV audience have the most sanity in them. He's pragmatic and to the point.

We'll see what happens with more of this summer's Big Brother 13.

The Bachelor Pad 2, Looks Like Ratings Gold for ABC

So what about ABC's The Bachelor Pad 2? Right now it seems like it should be called The Bachelor Pad, Jake vs. Vienna! Are there even any other people in the house this time around? Oh wait, there were. We saw them during the immunity challenge where everyone was doing the kinky monkey hanging. Dang, that looked nuts with Kasey's and Jake's legs turning colors. You'd think ABC would design some other challenge that didn't involve cutting off the blood flow!

Obviously, with both Jake Pavelta's and Vienna Girardi's track records, I don't believe either one of them. Jake reminds me of NASCAR's Carl Edwards. Edwards has a bit of a temper under the collar, but when the cameras are on him, he's all mellow and friendly. He's really good at the public image spin-job. I think Jake is doing exactly that. Though I'm not certified expert in the issue, you can see from facial tension lines that he may have a bit of a temper zone himself. But he's trying to smooth everything over.

Why would Jake be trying so hard to smooth everything over with "I sold our story to the rags" Vienna? I don't know. My first guess is that maybe he has his sights set on some entertainment venue job and he needs to look good, or have a better image for it. But that's only a guess.

Then there's Vienna. Having sold their story to the tabloids, then, according to how it's spun by ABC, she did not know that Jake would be on Bachelor Pad 2, she seems to have Kasey wrapped up pretty good.

Again, I don't believe Vienna with her traumatization about Jake. You already freaked about it when it happened, you freaked about it when you got to the Pad, you freaked about it to Kasey and well, I suppose it won't stop. But her crocodile tears are getting old already. AND YOU HAVE TO LOVE it how she blamed Kasey for failing to win the immunity rose/date challenge. OMG, seriously lady?

But I have to wonder if they're still together. (Media reports are saying he's that stupid... I mean still with her today.) Especially after that preview where she's dissing on Kasey, saying it's all about the money and not him. Ouch. And Kasey, seriously dude, people can take care of themselves. Quit enabling them with your "protect your heart" crap. Jeeze, enough already! And I really didn't need to see Vienna get naked and get under the sheets with her boy-toy. ACK!!! Thanks for the nightmares ABC.

Gia... the never-ending faucet of tears. Why oh why does she come back every time? I don't expect her to last much longer, if not by being voted out or self-eviction.

I got a total kick out of Rated-R getting kicked out, admitting to playing both sides, but still being surprised by it. He's a hoot. Wasn't sad to see him go. I hate users.

Anyway, that's m'take on ABC's soft-porn TV, The Bachelor Pad 2, for now. Can't wait to see what else goes on!

CHARLIE SHEEN is, no, Has Lost It Or Is This A Gimmick?

Charlie Sheen Has Lost It Or Is This A Gimmick? I can't decide because if this is a gimmick, this is brilliance, If it's not, and judging from his history, it's probably not, then I do not know what to call it.

Charlie Sheen's past behavior includes

1990, accidentally shooting Kelly Preston ...,

1996: Arrested for allegedly beating his "girlfriend" Brittany Ashland,

1998: Coke OD

2005: Denise Richards files for divorce, claiming his abuse of substances,

2006: Per Ms. Richards, during a fight, yells at her that he hopes she dies,

2009: Another arrest due to domestic violence charges by Brooke Mueller,

2010: Removed from The Plaza Hotel in NY City due to the damages he caused,

2011: Las Vegas bender, ends up in hospital from "laughing too hard" then enters rehab.

But then, 2011 is going to be a very full year of new items to add to the list with his new quotes.

"I am on a drug. It's called Charlie Sheen. It's not available, because if you try it, you will die. Your face will melt off, and your children will weep over your exploded body."

This from a man, Charlie Sheen, who believes he's alright. Then again, isn't it the crazy ones who are the last ones to realize they're one nut short for a fruit basket?

If you think about it, the very thing that helped Howard Stern kick terrestrial ass's ratings way back in his early days is what is helping Mr. Sheen's apparent popularity right now. What's that? When Howard Stern's ratings exploded on terrestrial radio, some were fans while most were there to bash on his antics but listened longer because they wanted to see what the hell he'd do next.

That is exactly how Sheen got 100k followers with barely a tweet... everyone wants to see what bonehead-like move he's going to do or say next.

Speaking of what he'll do next...

In an interview with Mr. Stern, Mr. Sheen said his two "girlfriends" sleep in different beds in his bedroom and whatever fancy hits him is what bed he slips into... He said he's not worried about John Stamos getting his job... That he doesn't start spouting (incoherent) quotes until after his workout... He rebelled against the statements about his puny (you know what).

But back to Charlie Sheen's Twitter Account: At the time of this writing, he has sent 12 tweets and has over 600k followers. Let's see, so far the Sheen-wisdom tweets have included:

"Winner..! 2012..." (I guess he either doesn't know what year it is, or he thinks he has something up.)

So for the moment on Twitter he's been pretty quiet. I can't wait until he ramps up and uses more "#tigerblood" hashtags for his tweets, referencing his interview statements that he (paraphrased for entertainment) has tiger blood in his Adonis DNA.

I wonder if this DNA is what helps his those fists of fire thing he seems to think he has. (I'd keep a fire extinguisher nearby, just in case he tests this theory.) Of course he's not worried, because "Dying is for fools. Amateurs."

I have to wonder if Charlie Sheen owns a random word generator? Especially when you hear things like "Vatican assassin warlocks" and such blabber come forth from his camp. Oh wait, his camp is staffed with porn stars because his publicist grabbed a life-preserver and jumped off the Titanic before being completely swallowed up by the ocean.

Though I don't think this is the case, one has to wonder if this isn't a plot to generate some form of media. When Britney Spears went spiraling out of control, there was some legitimate help there but it took a while to kick in. But when she spiraled, it's all people wanted to see... what was next? It's a huge marketing trick for many platforms. Hence the 3 to 4 second delay between questions and provided answers on reality TV and radio shows. That dramatic 3 seconds, is well hours for the Sheen show. Hmm... I wonder if Sheen will next be seen on an intervention reality show of his own on MTV, or what?

There are some I'm sure that will feel there's wisdom behind his rants. Like why whores? Because it skips all the small talk and gets to the core of the relationship. And yet, he still has two girls latched... I mean tagging along for the ride. I'm sure they'll get their 15 minutes of fame from all this before they all flame out.

Does it surprise anyone that Mel Gibson is supporting Charlie Sheen? LOL... birds of a feather will flock together I guess.

One of the sad things about this is that no matter what any star does, there will always be the faithful fans... and even if there aren't, it's amazing how someone can make an apology, be quiet for a year, and then everyone moves forward and becomes fans again. We need longer memories folks. It's the bane of my existence, but it keeps me leery of spiteful butts and such.
