The NEW Love on the Go is finally here!!! This time we talk about Christmas and New Years and what people are planing to do. It is very interesting as a foreigner to hear what the Japanese are planing and really what Christmas and New Years are for them!!

Ok, so here it was we discussed about today...

Things we can do/make!

-Introduce Podcasting and TUJPOD
- record people introducing TUJPOD

-Produce a whole podcast from the festival with:
-interviews
-video (borrow from matt or shoot)
-message to the dean

-We can try a 'live' feed. Maybe just put up 2 shows during the day with some updates...?

-Have a logo contest for TUJPOD

-Make a flyer with URL short intro and info about logo contest

-Have a 'Human Mic' walking around talking and recording the sound of the festival

Things we need!

-Laptop with all TUJPOD shows
-Headphones
-Suggestion Box
-Sign or something for our table to attract people
-Flyers

If anyone thinks of anything post a comment so everyone can see and contribute!

Alright, so I finally finished my podcast review! This project is not so exciting...ie not a ton of effects...but its still def worth to listen to if you wanna hear a little about technology podcasts!

Scott gave me the idea to put up the links to the podcast I reviewed to make it easier to find them. So here they are:

Windows Weekly (part of TWIT)

For Geekbreif.tv just search on Itunes and it should not be a problem to find, same thing goes for Geek Entertainment TV. Both are video podcasts!

Another podcast thats completly different from AdultSwim is 'Windows Weekly' with Paul Thurrott. Mr. Thurrott is one of the most knowlable persons on Windows. In this show he talks to a host that gives a humorus relief and pushes the show forward. They talk about windows Vista of course and also some about windows office 2007. To me that is interested in windows this is very interesting...but they are not mac haters or anything they compare and actually say in the show not to use IE which is interesting. Even though the host seems a little windows slanted...either way it is nice to hear from someone that has connections inside Microsof.
I found this at Itunes as well. When i figure out how to get the urls from Itunes i will put them here...if anyone knows please tell me!

This is just something that I wrote about podcasts in for another class. But I thought it would be a good idea to share it on my blog also...

Go Digtital By BBC

I listened to Go Digital by BBC because I am interested in new digital devices as well as media, and I figured that BBC would be a safe place to go. The program was good in my opinion, even though it did not focus on gadgets as much I would like. The speaker was speaking in a very clear and concise voice throughout the show. His voice was strong and yet appealing to listen to for 25 minutes. The recording as well, was perfect (I guess I should expect that from BBC, but still). The show only had a handful of major subjects but they were covered well. In addition, there were other speakers or interviews for every subject that provided a break from the ‘main host’ which lead to a more enjoyable listening experience. It is very easy to become bored if there is not enough variation in this format. Overall, I liked the show and I will listen to it again.
(Note: this was the last episode under the name Go Digital it will continue with the name Digital Planet)

I also listened to the Rich and Josh Show, which is an amateur pod cast made by two students at the main campus in Philadelphia. This is the second time I listen to one of their shows and I have to say it was better this time. But I a not sure if that was because I am getting used their voices or if it’s because it was a better episode. Either way, the show is pleasant to listen to because of their humorous ways of talking about daily things in their lives. As well as their voices which are very different from each other and therefore compliments each other in a good way. Their recording is done well also; you can always hear what they are saying and they are never really peaking. Again, overall it is a good show. That is, if you want to hear two college people talking about their life, it is nothing more nothing less.

I just finished listening to "The Rich and Josh Show." I have to say that it was entertaning! But at some points I got tired with the guy that does most of the talking...but I think its really good how different their personalites seems to be. And it sounds nice, I think, when the voices are very different from each other! It gives the show more personality and it makes it more fun and clear when you listen to their discussions.
Another thing, I like their website. It's clear and clean...very good!!

Woohoo...my first post!

I read the article on www.wired.com and I thought it was good. It had many many links of things you can do with Podcasting and Ipods...I wish they explained a bit more of how to use other devices though. But that aside, I liked the link library they provide..there is many hours of watching, reading and listening!
