“Come for Dracula and discover Romania”

This is a say of one of my dear customers that inspired me. Indeed most of people know that Transylvania is the mysterious land of Dracula. The legend of the count comes from ancient times and still fire up modern people imagination. Romania is a great host for such myths and legends with its tumultuous history and surreal natural richness.

In the East Carpathians the Ceahlau massive, one of the seven natural wonders of Romania, is shaped like a fortress and popular says that it used to be a quarry where a master stone cutter carved huge statues for his daughter. Still in the eastern Carphatians, Luana’s Caves are said to be the prison of an alien female creature fallen in love with a man.

The Sphinx a megalithic monument that stands in meridional Carpathians – Bucegi mountains linked to sacred Kogaionon, is an amazing place to connect with powerful spirit of our ancestors Dacians.

The place is soaked in mystery. However, there is one aspect that revels itself from the very first step you take into this land: Romania is an oasis of Latin spirit. As a mix of Roman conquerors and native Geto-Dacian population Romanians believe in their laitn heriatage struggling along the history to survive into a part of Europe under the influence of slavic culture. Above all we believe in God but superstitions and customs are part of popular traditions.

However beautiful the landscape may be you won’t get to its very core until you reach its invisible part enriched with tales and misterious experiences. We have a legend for each and every place.

Come to listen it!
