Leslie is a pioneer of raw and powerful guitar tones, from his early and current days with Mountain, to West, Bruce and Laing, he forged a revolutionary synthesis of blues and metal. To watch Leslie in action, is to watch a freight train coming at you full steam down the tracks. He takes no prisoners when he plays and is constantly pushing the envelope of guitar playing to the extremes.

We are excited and honored to have the legendary Leslie West playing custom built Budda Superdrive Series II "L.A.W." amps and cabs on his up coming fall tour with the great, Joe Satriani.

For more info on the Mountain/Satch tour, visit
www.mountaintheband.com

Prashant Aswani Demo

This years Namm show rocked! They did a great job showcasing the features of the 30 and demonstrating the wide range of tones the amp has to offer.

We nicknamed this amp The "dirty 30" at Budda headquarters. It is loaded with 4 EL84 power tubes that will peel the paint off the walls. They sound as big as EL34's and kick in our Dual Class Hot Biased AB circuit. Super aggressive distortion that is touch sensitive and won't color the sound of your guitar. The rhythm channel has lots of headroom, sparkle, chime and grit when you open up the master.

The 30 is the perfect amp to create your indie masterpiece. The bad boys of rock chose Budda to deliver their raw live tones and are sporting Twinmaster Collectors Edition combos and Superdrive 80 heads with our phat 4x12 cabinet. Stevie D's Superdrive 80 rig delivers the tone he has been looking for and his quote, "For simplicity, power and tone... NOTHING even comes close." pretty much sums it up. By this standard, Eddie Kramer must be regarded as a legend. In the course of a production and engineering career that has spanned 30 years, Kramer has been behind the boards for the biggest names in music -- The Rolling Stones, Traffic, Peter Frampton, Carly Simon, Joe Cocker, Johnny Winter, David Bowie, The Beatles and Bad Company, just to name a few.

But he is perhaps best known for three long-term associations in which he not only helped create some of the most important music of the rock era, but also set standards for rock production that set him aside as a true innovator. His work with Jimi Hendrix, Led Zeppelin and Kiss produced music which continues to influence rock musicians and producers today.

Download Podcast Mar/2006: Interview with producer Eddie Kramer.
