We’re moving!

Well, it’s been a long time since my last post. I promised to be better at the beginning of the year but the past six months have been absolutely crazy and keeping my blog updated was one resolution I did not keep. My husband lost his job right after the holidays but we were blessed that he found a good temporary job. We were even more blessed when a headhunter found his resume on one of the national job search sites and contacted him about a job at a very well known, up and coming company. We were thrilled when we read the job description because it suited him and his talents to a tee! It was like they designed the job just for him. Well, after many long months of phone interviews and on site interviews he was offered the job! Woohoo!

Were moving!

The only bad news is that we have to move! To another state! Well, its not really all that bad. Although I will miss this home and our friends we are going to be so much closer to family—less than 45 min away! I’m so excited! But moving our home means that I will have shut down the Bugaboo Announcements shop temporarily. I really hate having to close shop but I’m going to try to make it as short as possible.

Lots of changes and new product lines have been in the works for a while but with all this going on in the background I’ve had to put off sharing it all with you. I’ve been working on a new website for a while and I can’t wait to make it live. I think you all will be excited about it too! This temporary closing is probably good timing because when we reopen we will be able to debut the new website and lots of new products so stay tuned!

We move in exactly two weeks so the Bugaboo Announcements shop and etsy shop will be closed starting this Friday, July 8th. Please sign up for our newsletter to find out when the shop will open again and to hear about all about the new website and great new products.

This month we are featuring our super fun and useful personalized water bottles. You can choose from many of our cute illustrations like a sweet purple butterfly or a fun green alien.

Happy New Year! One of my resolutions for this year is to update my blog more often about products (old and new), sales, giveaways and lots of useful and or just plain fun information. And this year, I will be starting a monthly giveway where I will feature one product and give a lucky reader a chance to win it.

This month I am featuring our Bugaboo Notes note cards. There are lots of cute hand illustrated designs to choose from including our green alien, pink cupcake, blue owl and our popular super hero logo. We have designs perfect for babies, children and adults. Feel free to look around and see all the options available and if you have an idea for a new design, feel free to contact me and I’ll see what I can come up with. I always love to work on new illustrations!

Each card can be personalized however you like. You can personalize them with your’s or your child’s name or keep them more general with wording like “Thank you”.

And for the younger crowd, we offer fill in the blank note card, featuring some of our favorite designs. The fill in the blank cards are perfect for children who are just learning to write. They just need to fill in a few blanks but still learn the importance of writing thank you notes.

All Bugaboo Notes note cards (personalized and fill in) will be 15% for the entire month of January!

Winter Holiday Schedule 2010

With the Holidays coming we will be closing shop to spend some time with our family. We will be closed starting Tuesday, December 21st through Wednesday, December 29th.

How will this affect your orders?

Photocard orders: All orders already placed will be processed and shipped as promised.

Any photocard orders placed starting today through Monday will receive a proof but will not ship until after December 30th.

Bugaboo Notes orders: There’s still plenty of time to order items from our Bugaboo Notes line of personalized stationery. Orders placed on or before Monday, December 20th at 5:00 pm will be printed and shipped before we close. However, if you want to order an invitation or other item that requires a special proof please place your order no later than Sunday so that we will have time to send you a proof. Proofs must be approved no later than 5:00 pm Monday, December 20th. I will send any corrections to you as quickly as possible to help you meet the proof approval deadline. All orders placed or approved after 5:00 pm Monday, December 20th will not be printed and shipped until we reopen.

You may still place an order while we are on break and we will process your order as quickly as we can starting Thursday, December 29th.

Winter Snow Song

I received a holiday card from an old friend via email last night. She put together a slide show of family photos from this year. I had never heard the song she chose to play with the photos but I thought it was just beautiful. The song is the Winter Snow song by Audrey Assad. I found this video on youtube and thought I would share it with you all. Enjoy!
