Last weekend an indoor race JC Cup (Jutland Cup) was held in Denmark. All the best drivers from denmark was in attendance and our HongNor team driver Tim Culmsee won both truggy and buggy classes!
In truggy class, Tim finnished 1 lap ahead of the current Danish champion. According to Tim, the truck performed perfectly all day. In the buggy class, Tim had some tough fights, but he kept calm and managed to take the victory.

It was a double win for HONGNOR!! Congratulations to Tim! Well done!

Raul Peris from his company R-World Racing wants to thank Richy Gomez, for having attended at the Pre Worlds in Pattaya with the R-1 and for obtaining the 7th position, a great result since due to bad weather several weeks earlier, he had to use it directly in Pattaya.

Finally we have not put in agreement with the contract, from here we wish the best for him.

Ty Tessmann testing new bodies

Sneak PeekPro-Line Team Driver Ty Tessmann spent some time between the Nitro Challenge and Silver State races to hang out in California with the Pro-Line team. While at the Pro-Line facility, Ty did a bit of tire testing (see video) and assisted in the development of a cab forward design buggy body.

Initial testing at Revelation Raceway had Ty very happy with the projects performance. Look for a sneak peek of the Pro-Line team putting the BullDog buggy body to the test at the Silver State Race in Vegas this weekend.

Alsop wins again with the D8

Graham Alsop sent us his race report from Round 8 of the Stoke Nitro Winter Series:

Stoke yesterday. Extreme cold! I TQ'd all 3 rounds and won the final.

In Round 1 the car setup was OK but I had to much steering, so move the shocks to the outside position on the front and used white springs, which are harder. In Round 3 I tried a thicker front diff, which worked well and improved things further. In the Final I used more rear camber and I was able to take the win.

Overall the car was great, and there's more D8 drivers showing up at club meetings, which is great to see.

2010 New Motor Heatsink for Brushless Motor

We would to introduce our new products which developed on Jan-2010. The " Brushless Series " Heatsink - Brushless Motor Heatsink (with single/double cooling fan).

This new product is developed for 05 series motor. Different with all heatsink in the market, our new heatsink have a hole which can channelling the air into the heatsink for cooling down the surface of motor. And the rear cooling fan will lead the hot air of motor out at the same time. (Heatsink with double fan will have a front cooling fan to channelling more cold air into the hearsink and cool down the motor directly.) The operation of this new heatsink will make a single way of air floating to improve the cooling system.

For improving the cooling fan, we're not only focus on the shape design of heatsink. for the point of fixing the motor heatsink, we used the 3M heat dispersion tape. Using the feature of the heat dispersion tape for improving the cooling system and can be make the heatsink more lightly.

The connenting code of cooling fan has already hid inside the hearsink and we've released 5 colors for choosing.

2010 Psycho Nitro Blast

The 2010 Psycho Nitro Blast in Atlanta, GA drew over 400 entries. Losi drivers Adam Drake, Gene Hickerson and Mike Truhe competed in the 1/8 Pro Buggy, 1/8 Electric Buggy and 1/8 Pro Truck classes.

Each class included three rounds of qualifying. Adam was the top qualifier in all three rounds in the 1/8 Pro Buggy, 1/8 Electric Buggy and 1/8 Pro Truck classes.

In the 1/8 Pro Buggy final Adam finished in first place, with Mike finishing in third place. Both drivers were competing with Team Losi Racing 8IGHT 2.0 Buggy Race Rollers equipped with Losi tires and Nitrotane fuel.

In the 1/8 Electric Buggy final Adam took first place and Gene finished in second place. Both drivers were competing with Team Losi Racing’s 8IGHT-E 2.0 Buggy Race Roller. Adam completed his buggy with an Xcelorin Brushess System, Xcelorin LiPo battery and Losi tires.

Congratulations to all three drivers on their outstanding performance!

Team Durango TQ and Win French Nationals Round 1

Top French Team Durango driver, Cyril Baldini, took the top qualifier spot and the win at the first round of the French indoor Nationals series during the weekend of March 6th / 7th.

With heavy hearts we announce the passing of one of our R/C family and Novarossi USA Team Members. Leighton Dillard, AKA Big L, passed away suddenly last weekend. He leaves behind his wife Shelley, daughter Jessica, and son Chris. We send our condolences and prayers to his family. Big L, the gentle giant, is loved and admired by all of us fortunate to know him. He will live on in our hearts and memories. Godspeed our dear friend, you are missed by many. RIP A Fund for contributions will be set up for Leightons family. We will be posting information for donations as soon as we receive it. Thank you all for your support.
