These bulbs seem to have disappeared from the shelves at our local Home Depot. Are they still available anywhere else?

I just bought one of these and I think they did a good job with them. Just a little pricy!

I have seen the LED candle bulbs you mention in the light bulb store but right now they are very expensive.
The stores in the USA such as Home Depot and Lowes have PAR30 equivalent for $30 - $40 and A19 40 watt equivalent for $20 (US).

I would agree that CFLs wont look right in a vintage or vintage syle chandelier such as the one featured.
Until recently this meant incandescents had to be used.

There are now some excellent LED candle lamps that would be very suitable for such applica...

I bought a flame-shaped LED bulb from Lowe's. Keep in mind, mine took a medium base.

I believe that this paramount star would have taken a edison based or an intermediate based bulb. I fould two of the smaller paramount stars this past year that requite the candelarbra based bulb but I have not found a suitable replacement for the orig...

I have one myself, I see yours has a corded socket with it. Mine came fitted with a GE Mazda candlestick bulb just shoved up into the star, where to use it, you had to screw it into a socket on an existing string. It failed this year so I had to retrof...
