How to Easily Use Google Music Outside the United States and Download 20,000 Free Songs without Credit Card

I tried Google Music recently and I was blown away by how easy it is to use. If you're already using iTunes, Google Music will sync your library to your online account without you having to do anything.

Android users no longer have to worry about taking up space on their phone with their songs. Instead, you can stream your entire library. If you aren't connected, your most recent songs are cached on the phone so you can listen offline. Google Music top features are:

Any music that isn't copyright protected (DRM) can be uploaded to the Google Music cloud. This means that rare LPs you have imported, and other improperly titled files, can be uploaded and streamed to your device.

Google Music provides a backup for your unique or rare music titles.

On the other hand, a lot of people saying/complaining they can't use Google Music because they are outside the United States. Many workarounds exist that help users access the services even if they are currently residing in a different country. One option that I will be explained here is to use Tor bundle. I have chosen Tor because it free and reliable. We will configure Tor the way that the exit node lies in U.S.

You can use Google Music to store your songs but also to download the thousand of free songs available even you don’t have credit card or you don’t want to use your existing credit card. Here are the easy steps I used to access the Google Music service outside the U.S. and downloaded all the free songs I want.

Step 1. First changed your IP address by using proxy servers. I did not use online web based proxies.

I watched from Fox News before that they maintain logs and they can surrender these logs to FBI if compelled to do so. A guy was caught regarding a criminal activity because of this. Also, online web proxies like hidemyass.com don’t work properly and this message appears when you use it:

Instead you can use Tor and you can download it here, https://www.torproject.org/download/download-easy.html.en .

Step 2. After extraction...click "Start Tor Browser.exe". Give it a few seconds while it properly connects to available proxies. The Vidalia control panel should start and get connected to the network. Watch for the onion icon in the UI to turn green and for an integrated browser to start. Close the Firefox browser (Aurora version) for now as we won't need it until a little later on.

Step 3. We need to select a U.S. node – see the little map icon? Find one with an American flag that's close to the top of the list, right click on it and choose copy --> fingerprint and then edit Tor's configuration file.

From the main window, hit the "View the Network" button and a new window should open with a map of the world with a list of nodes on the left side. You are going to see all the relays with their flags (countries).

Step 4. Exit out of the Network Map window and back to the Vidalia Control panel. Next step is to take the fingerprint we so carefully copied and edit the configuration file to force Tor to only use this node. Click settings, and then hit the advanced tab. In the middle of this tab you should see a button to edit the torrc file, click that and you'll be presented with a text editor that sets up some of Tor's behaviors.

Step 5. Put your cursor down at the very top of the file and add the following replacing XXX in our example with the fingerprint you just finished grabbing:

Step 6. When done, your changes should look like the image below and if it does, now's the time to push the OK button to save your work. Once back at the configuration window, we'll need to exit Tor and then restart it with our fix applied.

Step 7. Once Tor has restarted, the integrated browser will eventually open confirming you're using Tor. Go to whatismyipaddress.com to check where it has connected using the Tor browser. Make it sure it is connected to a U.S.-based IP address.

Now we can login to https://music.google.com using this inbuilt browser. You may get redirected to a Google notice page asking for confirmation that you're really you, as you're logging in from a new location, but no sweat, this is a good sign so answer the question and proceed. Sign in with your regular account or existing Gmail account. Click on to Accept Terms and Service and acknowledge that you are going to a secure site (or something to that nature). You may get a few errors after you sign in since the browser limits a lot of executions from websites.

Step 8. After you've accepted the terms, don’t close the Tor browser. On Google Music page, the Tor browser might ask you to Install Adobe Flash. You don’t need to install it.

Step 9. After this, you should be redirected straight to the Google Music desktop where there will be a link to get the music upload client. All that remains to be done on your desktop is to install the upload tool or Music Manager Installer. Enter your account details on the music manager and upload some of your music files. Once it's done uploading, click on "Home" under My Library. Your songs should be there.

Step 10. Now open a regular browser like Internet Explorer and login to Google Music to check your account.

Step 11. Install the Google Music Android client on your phone or tablet and finally associate it with your account. You can now listen to your music on anywhere, no matter if online or if you are not connected. Download it here:

Step 12. Now to download the free songs. Go back to TOR browser. I assume you are still login to your Google Music account. Click MORE and then FREE SONGS. You will be directed to the Android Market. Then select a song that is labeled as free.

Step 13. It will ask for credit card and other details. Add new payment method. If you want you can put in your own credit card details. If not, you can use these numbers.

These credit card numbers are not real. It is not stolen or linked to any person. The credit card numbers will past any pre-validation and are declined at the card processor or bank stage. These numbers are used to test credit card checkout payment systems on online stores. It will not work if you try to buy any product. They are random numbers that happen to conform to the MOD 10 algorithm. They are a technical resource for programmers - that's all.

Looking for the security code? Just type in 3 random numbers and make sure the expiration date is greater than the current day or any expiry date within the next 3 years should work.

Step 14. Don’t change default the STATE. Search cities on that default U.S. State using http://wikipedia.org then input the city and corresponding ZIP CODE you want.

Step 15. For that city you need to find a corresponding phone number. Search using http://local.yahoo.com. Find a 10 digit phone number you want. Try not to use the city hall’s number. A hotel or a commercial establishment is preferable.

Step 16. Input all the details on the form and ENTER. You can now download free songs all you want.

About the Quiapo Church (Minor Basilica of the Black Nazarene)

Quiapo Church, officially known as Minor Basilica of the Black Nazarene, is a Roman Catholic church located in the District of Quiapo, Manila, in the Philippines. The church is one of the most popular churches in the country. It is home to the Black Nazarene, a much venerated statue of Jesus Christ which many people believe has miraculous attributes.

Many Filipinos have a devotion to the Black Nazarene. Many experienced the miraculous healings and answered prayers of the Lord of the Black Nazarene. Quiapo Church is a center for pilgrimage of Filipinos from all over. Those who come to Manila would pay their respects to the Black Nazarene. Everyday, there are hourly Masses and Confessions. Fridays is the Day of the Lord of the Black Nazarene and the Church becomes filled with devotees. There are regular talks and recollections in the Church as well as processions, novenas and social services for the poor.

The Pilgrim Image of the Black Nazarene visits Churches in the Philippines and helps in the projects of these Churches. Quiapo Church also assists other dioceses, institutions and parishes in need. On January 9, a multitude if bare-footed devotees, most of whom are men, join the procession as an expression of both supplication and gratitude. Riding on the andas or carroza, pulled by two 50-meter abaca ropes, the Nazarene is brought to various barangays in the Quiapo District. The procession – that usually lasts between five to ten hours- is likewise held during Good Friday, on the first day of the year, and on the Sunday before Passion Sunday for the District-wide Way of the cross.

The church was painted cream after the original Mexican Baroque edifice was burned down in 1928. It is expanded to its current form in 1984 for accommodation of thousands of devotees. Also known as St. John the Baptist Parish, the church at present belongs to the Archdiocese of Manila. The current rector is Rev. Msgr. Jose Clemente Ignacio, former Episcopal Vicar, Chancellor and Oeconomus of the Archdiocese of Manila, who succeeded Msgr. Josefino Ramirez (the Vicar General of the archdiocese) upon the latter's appointment as rector of the Archdiocesan Shrine of the Divine Mercy in Maysilo, Mandaluyong City. Assisting Msgr. Clem are his Parochial Vicars Rev. Fr. Fernando Carpio, Rev. Fr. Frank Villanueva, Rev. Fr. Venusto Suarez and Rev. Fr. Ricardo Valencia.

Historical background

When Governor General Santiago de Vera founded the District of Quiapo on August 29, 1586, the Franciscan Missionaries built the first church of Quiapo with Bamboo and Nipa. San Pedro Bautista, a Franciscan missionary at that time was one of the founders of the Quiapo church, thus his image is located at one of the side niches of the church. San Pedro Bautista founded many churches in Metro Manila and Laguna. The famous of them all is the one at San Francisco Del Monte, the parish that is named after him and houses the Holy Cave for missionaries that went to China and Japan during those days. Unfortunately, this church was burned in 1639. Rebuilding and repairs at intervals gave the parish a stronger edifice which the earthquake of 1863 partially destroyed.

Under the supervision of Fathers Eusebio de Leon and Manuel Roxas, the third church was completed in 1899, with Fr. Roxas raising PhP. 40,000.00 from contributions. In the fire of October 30, 1928, the church was left in ruins leaving its scarred walls and belfry. Dona Encarnacion Nakpil de Orense, head of the Parish Committee, raised funds for the reconstruction of the church and National Artist for Architecture Juan Nakpil was made responsible for the church's rebuilding. Miraculously, the church survived the ravages of the Second World War, despite its surrounding buildings being completely destroyed.

Expansion of the Church and Recognition as Minor Basilica

To meet the needs of an ever-increasing number of churchgoers, Msgr. Jose Abriol, together with Architect Jose Ma. Zaragoza and Engr. Eduardo Santiago, worked hard in 1984 to have the parish church and national shrine remolded. Thus this sacred edifice has doubled in holding capacity and has acquired a most sturdy columnless structure and modern architectural beauty. Cardinal Sin blessed it on September 28, 1987. The year after, Quiapo Church was declared the Minor Basilica of the Black Nazarene. The Papal Nuncio, Most Rev. Bruno Torpigliani, blessed the altar of San Lorenzo Ruiz on February 1, 1988.

The Image

The Minor Basilica of Saint John the Baptist holds the well known image of Black Nazarene (Senor Nazareno). It was one of the two identical images brought into the islands by the Augustinian Recollects during the Spanish Colonial Period.

The first and most famous one was kept at the Church of Saint Nicholas de Tolentino in Bagumbayan and later transfered to Intramuros when the old edifice was demolished. This Black Nazarene was part of the celebrated Palm Sunday Procession in the old walled city. Sad to say, this statue perished during the liberation of Manila in February 1945.

The other statue was given by the Recollects to the Church of Quiapo. Often, it has been mistaken that this is identical to the lost image of the Intramuros. Every 9th of January Devotees flock to the Basilica for the Annual Feast of the Black Nazarene. The procession that ensued takes several hours to negotiate the narrow streets of Quiapo and gives an appearance of sea of mankind. On ordinary times of the year, Friday is known as Quiapo Day. The Sick and those asking for Divine intervention go to the shrine on the said day.

In a move to protect the centuries old image from effects of processions, the Fathers of Quiapo decided to commission a replica of the Black Nazarene. As a result, the Head and the Hands were placed on the new body while the old torso holds a new head. Both images are brought out for processions albeit alternating every other year.

The Devotion to the Black Nazarene

The Quiapo Church holds a weekly novena every Friday and is attended by thousands of devotees. On January 9. This event is participated by Millions of Devotees while Quiapo Church holds Novena of Masses before the event. Many sick people come to see the Black Nazarene, hoping that getting a chance to pray in front of its miraculous image would heal their sicknesses. Others come for various intentions and the answers as well as the miracles are attributed to the special presence of Our Lord in the Shrine. Daily hourly masses are celebrated and devotees from all over the country would always pass by the Church of Quiapo. Every Thursday before First Fridays, healing Services are conducted with priests administering the blessings. Confessions are readily available beginning 8am until 7pm.

The Recent Years

The devotion to the Black Nazarene has been growing. Due to the sizable crowd of devotees joining the procession, the Traslacion now begins at the Quirino Grandstand in Luneta. The procession takes the whole day and reaches Quiapo Church late evening. Also to allow the devotees in distant provinces to partake of their devotions to the Black Nazarene, Quiapo Church has donated life-size images of the Black Nazarene to the Archdiocese of Cagayan de Oro, the Diocese of Iligan, the Diocese of Ipil and a small image to the Seminary in the Diocese of Borongan, Eastern Samar. Devotees in these areas have been benefitted by the presence of these statues from Quiapo Church and have now been increasing in numbers.

In Luzon and the Visayas, the Pilgrim Images of the Black Nazarene have been requested by parishes to grace them with a visit of the "Poon". Quiapo Church has also acquired two properties adjacent to the Church to cope with the growing activities and programs of the parish. The former Lao Building has been renovated under the supervision of Arch. Aurora Ramos and Eng. Victor Mallilin. The Benedict XVI Building (former Lao Building) has been recently inaugurated (2011) and it now houses the Social Services, the ministries and organizations of the Church.

Salt Can Increase Disk Memory Up To 6 Times

People use salt to enhance the flavor of their food but a Singapore scientist has discovered that it's also extremely good for improving the memory capacity of computer hard disks.

Joel Yang from the Institute of Material Research and Engineering says that salt can radically improve the way memory is stored on computer hard disks. Along with scientists from other institutions, Yang says he found that dipping a hard disk wafer into a sodium chloride solution reorganizes the nanostructures inside the disk thereby increasing its storage capacity.

According to him, if you want to pack 1000 ping pong balls in a container, you've got to position them at exactly the right positions. By doing that, you can pack more of them in a given space. In magnified photographs taken using an electron beam lithography machine, Yang found that the sodium chloride-soaked wafers had a neater, more defined structure, allowing for a potential six-fold increase of data storage. Though why salt causes this reaction is still a mystery to Yang.

“We don't really know. We've tried a bunch of different salts as well, sodium bromide, iodide, fluoride, and we saw that sodium chloride gave the best performance. There are still a number of hurdles to overcome before his laboratory findings can be implemented on entire hard drive disks”, Yang said.

To scale up what we have demonstrated in the lab onto an entire disk requires reliable and cheap processing methods. Electron beam lithography is very useful for device prototyping and for doing demonstrations. But in order for this industry to adopt this technology, new processes need to be developed.

Yang predicts that the addition of sodium chloride may double or triple memory space for commercial hard disks over the next several years.

Getting a six-fold increase he says, may take a few years longer.

1. Set Attainable Goals. The first step toward financial independence is knowing where you want to be. Once you’ve identified your goals, you must ask yourself a few questions: What’s important to me? What do I need? What do I want? Your answers to these questions will help define your goals. Next, put your goals in writing and get on the road to financial independence.

2. Budget Your Spending. You can organize your finances by keeping a budget. You need not be a financial expert to do budgeting nor do you need any special tools. A simple diary or an excel sheet should do. If you are not sure of using excel sheets there are many tutorials online that will help you understand the basics quickly. Once you are through, open a single sheet and start typing down all your spending for the first couple of months. Once done, take this data and use it for budgeting for the forthcoming months onwards. Find out details about wasteful spending and try to cut them down. Do a daily and a monthly budget to ensure you keep on track.

Even if you are facing severe financial problems, a budget can still help you get out of debt. A budget essentially organizes your spending. Sticking to a budget may be easier than creating a workable one. So if you find yourself budget-challenged, there are a lot of websites that help you create a budget to suit your specific needs.

3. Track Spending. One trait that is common to most people with financial problems is their inability to track their spending. Dig out your paycheck stubs, income tax return, credit card statements and year-end summaries, details of home, car and any other loans, and financial statements from your banks and investment firms and keep detailed records.

Then evaluate how you’re spending your money, and see what you can cut out or reduce. Decide if each expense is absolutely necessary, then eliminate the unnecessary.

4. Control Impulse Spending. The biggest problem for many of us. Impulse spending, on eating out and shopping and online purchases, is a big drain on our finances, the biggest budget breaker for many, and a sure way to be in dire financial straits.

Impulse spending can eat into your savings like none other. Remember the party you gave your friends last night? Remember you went shopping yesterday and brought home things that you really don't need? This is what impulse spending is all about. The only way to stop this is to start spending consciously. When-ever you get out to shop write down what exactly you want to buy and stick to it. Similarly cut down on parties or look for cheaper ways of entertainment.

7. Eliminate and Avoid Debt. This is the simplest, but perhaps the most difficult tip. The first critical step towards eliminating credit card debt is to stop using the cards. Next, identify your highest interest cards and pay them down first. Call your credit card companies and request lower interest rates.

If you’ve got credit cards, personal loans, or other such debt, you need to start a debt elimination plan. List out your debts and arrange them in order from smallest balance at the top to the largest at the bottom. Then focus on the debt at the top, putting as much as you can into it.

8. Put your Monthly Expenses into Separate Envelope. This is a simple system to keep track of how much money you have for spending. Let’s say you set aside three amounts in your budget each payday — one for gas, one for groceries, one for eating out. Withdraw those amounts on payday, and put them in three separate envelopes. That way, you can easily track how much you have left for each of these expenses, and when you run out of money, you know it immediately. You don’t overspend in these categories. If you regularly run out too fast, you may need to rethink your budget.

9. Pay Bills Immediately. One good habit is to pay bills as soon as they come in. Also, as much as possible, try to get your bills to be paid through automatic deduction. Use your bank’s online check system to make regular automatic payments. This way, all of your regular expenses in your budget are taken care of.

10. Read about Money Management. The more you educate yourself, the better your finances will be.

Tips on U.S. Citizenship

Interviewers at the citizenship interview will ask you questions from a list of 100 U.S. history and civics questions. You will be asked to answer the questions orally or in written form. You can learn the answers to these questions at the website to reinforce what you learn in your ESL class.

Getting In is the Hard Part

There are three ways to become a citizen of the United States of America.

The first two are automatic and occur when a person is born in the United States or is born abroad to American citizens traveling or residing abroad. For these people the simple act of being born in one of the two circumstances described above automatically makes them a citizen.

There are rare exceptions to the above, the most common being children born in the U.S. to parents who are either foreign heads of state or foreign diplomats – these children are not recognized as citizens of the United States.

Citizenship by Birth- Jus Soli and the 14th Amendment

The technical legal definitions of obtaining citizenship in one of these ways are the principle of jus soli (right of birthplace) and the principle of jus sanguinis (the right of blood).

The 14th Amendment to the U.S. Constitution, which reads as follows:

All persons born or naturalized in the United States, and subject to the jurisdiction thereof, are citizens of the United States and of the state wherein they reside. No state shall make or enforce any law which shall abridge the privileges or immunities of citizens of the United States; nor shall any state deprive any person of life, liberty, or property, without due process of law; nor deny to any person within its jurisdiction the equal protection of the laws. Guarantees citizenship under the principle of jus soli to practically every person born within the borders of the Unites States or its territories (Puerto Rico, American Samoa, etc.), with only rare exceptions to this rule (such as children born to foreign diplomats stationed in the U.S., etc.).

Birth to American Parents Outside the U.S.- Principle of Jus Sanguinis

As to children born outside the U.S. to parents who are American citizens, there are a few more exceptions and Congress is free to redefine and change the rules for citizenship under the principle of jus sanguinis.

Generally, if the mother is an American citizen, then the child is automatically an American citizen. In the cases where only the father is an American citizen there is usually no problem so long as he is the recognized biological father AND he is married to the mother at time of birth.

If this is not the case then you had better get a lawyer to determine whether or not a case can be made for the child's right to U.S. citizenship.

Some exceptions have been made in recent decades where the child's father is an American citizen but not married to the mother. These usually involve children born to foreign mothers who had lived with American soldiers while the soldier was stationed abroad.

In these cases the affair was temporary, at least in the eyes of the soldier, and the soldier usually didn't know the woman was pregnant when he left. Other Ways to Legally Enter the United States

Here are some of the ways to legally move to the United States and have the option to become a citizen with all the rights and responsibilities of one who was born in the U.S. or born outside the United States to American parents:

Apply at a U.S. Embassy or Consulate in your home country for an immigrant visa. This can involve a very long wait before you receive the visa and are allowed to move to the United States.

Apply for and win one of the 50,000 immigrant visas awarded by lottery every year by the U.S government. The application for this also requires that you apply at the U.S. Embassy or Consulate in your home country. While the odds of winning are small, the wait will be short if your name is drawn (the application is for you and your immediate family),

Enter the United States as a political refugee and apply for asylum in the U.S. I believe that you can also apply for this from abroad as well. The requirement here is that you face persecution or even death in your homeland because of your political views. Granting of such visas is usually a political decision by the U.S. State Department.

Marrying an American citizen abroad and applying to enter the U.S. with your spouse. This is a K-3 Nonimmigrant Visa for a Spouse. Check the U.S. State Department Visa page for information on this type of visa.

Coming to the U.S. to the U.S. to marry your American fiancée. This is known as a K-1 Fiancée Visa (there is also a K-2 Visa issued to children of the foreign fiancée - it appears that the child in this case has to be under 21 years of age in order to be admitted on the K-2 visa with the parent).

Being adopted as a child by an American citizen. This is not really an option as those adopted are generally too young to make a choice and the decision to adopt and bring the child to the U.S. is made by the American parent to be.

Entering the United States under sponsorship of a relative who is an American citizen. There are other legal avenues to enter the U.S. to become a legal permanent resident or citizen but the ones above are the most common. Gaining one of the classes of visas allowing entry for the purpose of remaining in the U.S. is just the first step.

In most cases such visas expire within a short time and certain steps must be taken before the expiration of the visa in order to obtain temporary residence status. The requirements for temporary residence status vary depending upon the type of visa but usually require the filing of an application and other documents along with an interview with an officer of the U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS).

Once temporary residence is obtained, the person is usually allowed to work and exercise all of the rights of an American citizen except for things like voting, holding certain public offices, etc. Temporary residence status is just that, temporary.

Again, depending upon the type of visa you entered the U.S. under; there will be certain processes you will have to follow in order to obtain permanent residence status.

A big exception involves minor children who are adopted by U.S. citizens. In most cases, these children are brought in to the U.S. and their adoptive parents can immediately file for citizenship.

For all others, an application has to be made for permanent residence status. Like the application for temporary residence status, this also requires the filing of an application and documents and an interview with an officer of the USCIS. Once permanent residence is obtained the holder can either elect to live here as a legal resident alien or apply for citizenship. As a permanent resident alien, they will have to periodically renew their status but, other than not being able to vote or hold most public offices, life will be no different than that of a citizen. However, if they commit a crime such people can be deported and, there is always the possibility that Congress will change the law in the future and not allow them to renew their permanent resident alien status thereby forcing them to leave the country.

The basic process for moving from permanent residence status to naturalized citizen requires that the person first must meet the following general requirements:

1 – they must physically reside in the U.S. for a continuous period (exact time may vary)

2 – they must demonstrate the ability to read, write and speak English.

3 - they must reside in a particular USCIS District prior to filing (in other words they must file in the USCIS district in which they live)

4 – they must have a knowledge and understanding of U.S. history and government.

5 - they must demonstrate an attachment to the principles of the U.S. Constitution

6 – they must be of good moral character.

7 - they must have a favorable disposition toward the United States. Good moral character, attachment to the Constitution and favorable disposition toward the United States is required for all persons seeking naturalization. Some of the other requirements may be waived for certain people including members of the U.S. military (citizenship is not a requirement for enlisting in the U.S. Armed Forces), spouses of American citizens and certain others.

These are the general rules that most people have to follow. There are also other rules which vary according to the type of visa under which the applicant entered the U.S. and other factors.

The USCIS web site contains most, if not all, of the information and forms needed for most people to complete the process. However, immigration law and regulations are extensive and complicated as well as constantly changing so it is important to follow the rules that apply to your particular situation. Lawyers can be hired to assist you with this but they are not required.

The passing of a test on U.S. history and government (given in English) is one of the final requirements for most applicants. Once all of the steps have been completed, the applicant is given an appointment for a swearing in ceremony during which they take an oath of allegiance to the U.S. and renounce all previous citizenship rights in other nations and they become citizens with all of the rights, privileges and responsibilities of U.S. citizens.

The only right they do not have is the right to be elected President, which the Constitution specifically reserves to those who are citizens by birth (by default, they also cannot be elected Vice President since they could not assume the office of President in the event of the President's death or removal).

The film is a tribute to the 100th anniversary of the Xinhai Revolution. It is also Jackie Chan's 100th film in his career.Besides starring in it, Chan is also the executive producer and director of the film. A movie to never be forgotten. Instant Classic of Cinema

Excellence is too easy a term to describe the brilliant film Mr. Chan has put together. As a lifelong fan I have followed his progression (and regression in the states aside from a few good films such as the Shanghai Noon and Knights movies, along with Karate Kid, Around the World in 80 days gets a big nod for having Sammo Hung along with Andy Lau)

Donnie Yen was in a movie along with an actor that is tied with Jackie Chan as my favorite... Tony Leung Ka-Fai. - It was called Assassins and Bodyguards. That movie pretty much sets up the scene for 1911 pocket watches and all (you'll see plenty of pocket watches in this film, that’s for sure.) I suggest watching it for more background on who Dr. Sun is and why he is so important to the revolution as A&B takes place in 1906.

Lets skip ahead 5 years to 1911, The country is in Chaos, the rebels (good guys!) are being slaughtered but taking out the enemy for the cause to gain Nationalism and end the evil Qing Dynasty. - No propaganda is used in the film which surprised me, I sat in a theater in Hong Kong to loud "AHHH" "Ohhh" "OH MY GOD" "WOW" even some women crying. by the end a standing ovation occurred and I was floored by what I had experienced.

Jackie Chan's labor of love, and wallet as he spent 30 Million American Dollars of his own money to fund this movie, pays off in the biggest way possible, by making an instant classic. by the FIRST 2 minutes you know the movie is going to be brutally epic and heart tearingly painful, in a gorgeous way. The movie moves into action very quickly, and Jackie Chan's role as the 8 fingered general is so very well suited, a very important historical figure but not as important as Winston Chao's Dr. Sun, the leader and idealist / strategist of the rebellion, Thus they share screen time 50/50, although the most shining moments in action and drama are with Jackie - Soaked in blood unloading endless hail of bullets to a nice kung-fu realism scene. This movie has something for everyone that has an interest in War, Drama, even Romance.

This is an instant classic, an easy 10 out of 10. I'd probably give it a 99%/100% if I had to rate it, only a point off due to wishing the movie added an extra 20-25 minutes 5 more of the amazing action that engulfs the film already, and another 20 minutes of more character development during the warfare; but don't get me wrong at 2 hours everything you need to know and will need to know is given.. and the performances are to die for. Hong Kong Film Assoc. will most certainly give Jackie the Movie of the year, I hope they give him Actor of the year as he deserves it along with Director (split award). Perhaps Bing Bing Lee as best supporting actress and Winston Chao as best supporting actor.

The purpose of your intended travel and other facts will determine what type of visa is required under U.S. immigration law. It's important to have information about the type of nonimmigrant visa you will need for travel, and the steps required to apply for the visa at a U.S. Embassy or Consulate abroad.

Emilia’s Story: Part 1

To make the process more understandable, we’ve created a “real-life” example to show what might actually be involved in taking the steps toward citizenship.

When she was 16 years old, Emilia Alvarez was a citizen of Chile with a Chilean passport. Her mother had come to the United States as an exchange student as part of a program that would help her to be a more effective English teacher in Chile. As an exchange visitor, Emilia’s mother, Rene, was issued a J-1 visa that would be valid for the two years she would be in the United States for her studies. (J visas are issued for a specific period of time. This is referred to as the duration of status and is noted as “D/S” on a person’s Form I-94.) The terms of Rene’s grant included tuition and living expenses. Emilia came with her mother as a dependent child and was issued a J-2 visa. While her mother was attending her classes, Emilia attended the local high school and earned her high school diploma.

At the end of the two years, Rene had completed her studies and prepared to return to Chile. However, Emilia wanted to stay in the United States. Emilia applied to a local university that offered courses in preschool education, the field she was interested in studying. Her mother agreed to pay for Emilia’s tuition, but she couldn’t afford to also pay for her room and board. Fortunately, Emilia was invited to stay with a family that she and her mother had come to know during the previous two years. Michael Williams, his wife, Virginia, and their two children, Susan and Richard, were delighted to invite Emilia to stay with them in their home.

To prepare for this transition, Emilia went to the USCIS Web site at www.uscis.gov and downloaded the following forms:

• I-539: Application to Extend/Change Nonimmigrant Status

• I-134: Affidavit of Support

Because she decided to stay in the United States, Emilia needed to change her visa status from a J-2 to an F-1. To begin this process, Emilia made copies of her completed I-539 and I-134 forms, as well as of the I-94 form she received at the airport when she arrived in the United States. The Form I-94 would be proof that she had remained in the United States legally because it was stamped with her date of entry, date of intended departure, and nonimmigrant status. In addition, Emilia made copies of her passport, her birth certificate, her high school diploma, her university admissions letter, and her Form I-20. She sent all of these documents along with the required filing fee by certified mail, return receipt requested, to the appropriate USCIS office as directed on Form I-539.

It is important to note that the USCIS always wants originals of forms that must be signed; however, you will want to make copies to keep for yourself. Photocopies of other documents are acceptable. Also keep in mind that mail sometimes gets lost. Although it is an added expense, it can be worth it to pay a little extra so you have receipts that prove when documents were mailed in the event a deadline is involved and your documents don’t arrive on time.

Emilia requested that the university file a copy of Form I-20 with the USCIS on her behalf. Her copy of Form I-20 looked like that shown on the next page.

There are several types of visas for temporary visitors to the U.S. The type of visa needed is defined by immigration law, and relates to the purpose of your travel.

Visitors to the United States who are interested in staying temporarily are issued a type of visa called a nonimmigrant visa. Nonimmigrant visas fall into several categories. People may enter the United States temporarily for business (B-1) or for pleasure or medical treatment (B-2). There are also specific visa categories for students, crewmen, temporary workers, and journalists. In addition, many countries participate in the Visa Waiver Program that allows foreign nationals to visit the United States without first obtaining a visa.

In order to obtain a nonimmigrant visa, applicants must meet the provisions of theImmigration and Nationality Act. U.S. immigration law assumes that visitors to the United States intend to immigrate to this country. Thus, applicants for nonimmigrant visas must prove that they are not seeking immigration to the United States by demonstrating the following:

• They plan to enter the United States for medical treatment, business, or pleasure.

• They will stay in the United States for a limited and specific time period.

• They have sufficient funds to cover their expenses in the United States.

• They maintain a residence in their native country.

• They have familial, economic, and social ties abroad.

Visitors to the United States should realize that having a nonimmigrant visa does not guarantee entry into the country. They may be denied admission by immigration authorities, who may also determine the length of their stay. When visitors to the United States arrive at the port of entry, their admission to the country will be authorized by a U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP) official. He or she will stamp the visitor’s Form I-94: Record of Arrival-Departure and approve the length of the visit. Travelers who would like to extend their visit should contact the USCIS and request Form I-539: Application to Extend/Change Nonimmigrant Status.

As with most visas, the sooner you apply the better. As a result of the terrorist attacks on the United States on September 11, 2001, visa applications are screened even more thoroughly than they were previously—a time-consuming process. It’s a good idea to start the visa application process as soon as you begin making travel plans.

B-1 and B-2 Visitors

For those wishing to travel to the United States temporarily, a nonimmigrant visa called the “visitor” visa is available. There are two types of visitor visas.

• B-1 Visa: This visa is reserved for business travelers. If you plan to visit the United States to attend a professional, educational, or business conference or convention, a B-1 visa would be a good choice. The B-1 visa may also be used for business meetings, contract negotiations, or estate settlements.

• B-2 Visa: This visa is for those seeking recreational travel or medical treatment in the United States. If you are planning to visit the United States for reasons that include tourism, visits with family or friends, social or service activities, rest, or amusement, you should apply for a B-2 visa. The B-2 visa is also for patients who plan to visit the United States for medical treatment.

You may apply for a visitor visa at any U.S. consular office overseas. However, it is recommended that you visit the U.S. embassy or consulate that has jurisdiction over the area where you live. It is quicker and easier to qualify for a visa within your country of permanent residence.

There are currently thirty-five countries that participate in the Visa Waiver Program (VWP). Citizens of these countries may travel to the United States without a visa if they meet certain requirements. To be eligible for the VWP, travelers should be visiting the United States for the purpose of business or tourism and stay in the country for fewer than 90 days. They must also be authorized through the Electronic System for Travel Authorization (ESTA) before coming to the United States, have a current passport and sufficient funds for the duration of their stay, and travel on an approved carrier.

This site provides the most up-to-date information about the VWP program, explains passport and other travel requirements, and lists the participating countries.

F-1 and M -1 Students

There are two nonimmigrant visa categories for students: the “F” visa and the “M” visa. Nonimmigrants coming to the United States for academic or language training programs are issued an “F” visa. An “M” visa is given to those pursuing vocational or nonacademic studies in the United States.

To be eligible for the F-1 or M-1 visa, students must meet certain criteria. First, they must be enrolled full-time in a vocational, educational, or language-training program at a USCIS-approved school. Second, students must display English proficiency or be registered for English language courses. They are also required to have necessary funds to support themselves during their studies and maintain a residence abroad. Students may obtain these funds through a sponsor living in the United States. The sponsor will need to complete Form I-134: Affidavit of Support on the student’s behalf. This form proves that the student has financial support from the sponsor and will not become a “public charge” (meaning dependent on public assistance programs, like food stamps or Medicaid) while living in the United States.

If you are interested in visiting the United States on a student F-1 or M-1 visa, the first step is to apply to a USCIS-approved school. Once you are accepted into a program, your educational institution will provide you with the needed approval documentation, including Form I-20: Certificate of Eligibility for Nonimmigrant (F-1) Student Status. You will submit Form I-20 to the Department of Homeland Security as part of your visa application. To begin the student visa application process, you’ll need to contact your local U.S. embassy.

J-1 Exchange Visitors

Travelers are encouraged to visit the United States through the Exchange Visitor Program (J-1). This type of visa was created to promote cultural awareness between countries, allowing visitors to exchange ideas, knowledge, and skills in a variety of fields. J-1 nonimmigrant visas are issued to travelers who have been approved to participate in a sponsoring organization’s U.S. exchange visitor program. Anyone requesting a J-1 visa must have been accepted into an exchange program before applying for a visa. Sponsors of exchange programs provide participants with the documentation needed to apply for a J-1 visa.

H-1B Specialty Occupation Worker

Another type of visa included in the nonimmigrant visa category is the H-1B for specialty occupation workers. U.S. employers may use this visa program to hire foreign workers with specialized knowledge or expertise. Workers coming to the United States on an H-1B visa should have a bachelor’s degree (or the equivalent). Some examples of H-1B occupations include college professors, architects, computer programmers, accountants, and engineers. The U.S. Congress sets an annual limit on the number of workers who may be issued a visa each year for certain nonimmigrant classifications. This limit is referred to as the annual cap. Currently, the H-1B visa has an annual cap of 65,000.

H-2B Temporary Workers

U.S. employers may also hire foreign workers on a temporary basis through the H-2B visa category. These employers may hire seasonal or intermittent workers during their peak production times to increase their labor force. Employers might also add to their workforce temporarily for a one-time occurrence, such as a large building project. Many H-2B workers are hired for manufacturing, construction, health care, landscaping, food service, lumber, and hospitality services jobs.

Current annual caps on H-2B visas are set at 66,000 per year. Half of these visas (33,000) are reserved for workers hired from October 1 through March 31, and the other half are for those working from April 1 through September 30. These limitations were set as a result of the Save Our Small and Seasonal Businesses Act of 2005. Starting in 2010, an H-2B petition cannot be filed more than 120 days before the actual start of the job that is identified on the labor certificate. In many cases, workers are able to extend their stays in H-2B status.

L-1 Intracompany Transferees

Yet another type of nonimmigrant visa issued to foreign workers is the L-1 classification. The L-1 visa is intended for those holding positions with companies overseas where they have worked for at least one year. If the company decides to transfer the employee to a U.S.-based branch, subsidiary, parent, or affiliate, a worker may apply for an L-1 visa to work for the company in the United States. Employees in this classification, called intracompany transferees, must stay with the same employer. They also must work in an executive, managerial, or specialized knowledge position with the company.

E-1 and E -2 Treaty Traders and Investors

Nonimmigrant visas are also available to foreign nationals coming to the United States for the purpose of trade or investment. These workers must live in a country that has a treaty of commerce and navigation with the United States. A complete list of treaty countries may be found at the Department of State’s Web site at http://travel.state.gov.

E-1 visas are issued to treaty traders coming to the United States to conduct significant trade between the U.S. and the treaty country. Applicants must be executives or supervisors, must be citizens of a treaty country, and must handle “substantial” (large and continuing) trade agreements. E-2 visas are reserved for treaty investors or those who direct and develop the resulting enterprise. Investors are also required to be nationals of a treaty country and have the expertise to manage large investments.

TN Visas for Canadian and Mexican Professionals

As a result of the North American Free Trade Agreement (passed in 1993), qualified Canadian and Mexican workers may enter the United States for professional business activities on a TN visa. Those entering the United States on a TN nonimmigrant visa should have a bachelor’s degree or other required credentials. Many TN visa holders work as engineers, lawyers, teachers, accountants, pharmacists, and scientists. Currently, there is no annual cap on the number of TN visas issued each year. A TN visa is valid for up to three years.

Canadian workers do not need to apply for a visa. When they arrive in the United States, they must provide proof of Canadian citizenship and their educational credentials and a letter from their future employer explaining the worker’s position, length of stay, and education credentials. They will be inspected by a U.S. CBP officer, admitted as a TN nonimmigrant, and given Form I-94 as proof of admission. Mexican workers are required to obtain visas and should apply for a TN visa at a U.S. consular office in Mexico. They will also need a letter from their prospective employer and proof of Mexican citizenship and their educational qualifications. Mexican workers will also be issued a Form I-94 showing their TN nonimmigrant status by a U.S. CBP inspector.

K-1 Fiancé(e)s

If you are engaged to a foreign national and would like to marry in the United States, you will need to file a petition for a K-1 nonimmigrant visa for your fiancé(e). If the petition is approved, your fiancé(e) must apply for a visa at a U.S. embassy or consulate office abroad. To be eligible for the K-1 visa, you and your fiancé(e) must be free to marry and have met in person within the past two years. You must also agree to marry within ninety (90) days of your fiancé(e)’s arrival in the United States. If your fiancé(e) has children, you may apply to bring them to the United States if they are under 21 years of age. To begin the application process, you will need to file a petition with your local USCIS Service Center.

After you are married, your fiancé(e) should apply for permanent resident status if he or she wants to live and work in the United States. Your spouse’s permanent resident status will be conditional for the first two years of your marriage.

K-3 and K -4 Spouses and Children of U .S. Citizens Who A re A broad

Following passage of the Legal Immigration Family Equity Act (LIFE Act), the spouse and children of a U.S. citizen living abroad may now enter the United States on a nonimmigrant visa. The K-3 and K-4 visas permit the spouse and child (or children) of a U.S. citizen to apply for permanent resident status while living in the United States. While they adjust their status, those on a K-3 or K-4 visa are allowed to find employment in the United States. To be eligible for a K-3 visa, an applicant must be married to a U.S. citizen and seek permanent resident status. The applicant’s spouse must file a relative petition (Form I-130) and send Form I-129F: Petition for Alien Fiancé(e) to the spouse’s U.S. consulate abroad. To be eligible for a K-4 visa, a person must be the unmarried child of the K-3 applicant and under 21 years of age.

V Visas for Spouses and Children of Permanent Residents

The spouse and child (or children) of lawful permanent residents in the United States may also apply to live and work in the U.S. as non-immigrants. This nonimmigrant category (V) allows the spouse and child to stay in the United States while they wait for either an immigrant visa or lawful permanent resident status. To apply for this type of visa, an applicant must either be married to a lawful permanent resident of the United States (V-1) or have a parent who is a lawful permanent resident (V-2). The spouse or parent with lawful permanent resident status must file a relative petition (Form I-130) on behalf of the spouse or child. To begin the application process abroad, applicants should contact their U.S. embassy or consulate. Spouses and children of lawful permanent residents who are already living in the United States will need to file Form I-539: Application to Change Nonimmigrant Status, undergo a medical examination, and pay an application fee. The Immigration and Naturalization Act (INA), the body of law governing current immigration policy, provides for an annual worldwide limit of 675,000 permanent immigrants, with certain exceptions for close family members. Congress and the President determine a separate number for refugee admissions. Historically, immigration to the United States has been based upon three principles: the reunification of families, admitting immigrants with skills that are valuable to the U.S. economy, and protecting refugees. This fact sheet provides basic information about how the U.S. legal immigration system is designed.

Immigration policies in the United States are set by the U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS). The USCIS is the bureau within the Department of Homeland Security that directs the immigration process in this country, including citizenship, permanent residency, family- and employment-related immigration, employment authorization, and inter-country adoptions. The USCIS also handles foreign student authorization, asylum and refugee status, and replacement immigration documents.

Policies and regulations established by the U.S. immigration system are designed to allow visitors, temporary workers, and immigrants lawful entry into the United Sates. Visas: Immigrant and Nonimmigrant

Whether you would like to visit the United States temporarily or stay permanently, the first step is to obtain a visa. A visa allows a person to travel to the United States and apply for admission to stay for longer periods of time. However, having a visa does not guarantee entrance into the United States. At the port of entry, an immigration inspector will determine the visa holder’s eligibility for admission into the country.

Operated by the U.S. Department of State, the National Visa Center (NVC) is a visa processing center that collects visa application forms and fees. Although visas are not issued in the United States, visa applications are processed through the NVC in New Hampshire. The NVC processes applications by first ensuring that an applicant’s dates of visitation are acceptable. Then, the NVC contacts the applicant for the required processing fees and visa documentation. Once the visa application has been approved, the NVC sends these records to a U.S. embassy or consulate, so that the applicant may obtain the visa. The length of time needed to issue an immigrant visa varies and depends on the applicant’s country of origin and the type of visa requested.

There are two types of visas available for travel to the United States:

This document explains how the agreement is made up, and sets out some of the terms of that agreement.

1.2 Unless otherwise agreed in writing with BURAGA.org, your agreement with BURAGA.org will always include, at a minimum, the terms and conditions set out in this document. These are referred to below as the “Universal Terms”.

1.3 Your agreement with BURAGA.org will also include the terms of any Legal Notices applicable to the Services, in addition to the Universal Terms. All of these are referred to below as the “Additional Terms”. Where Additional Terms apply to a Service, these will be accessible for you to read either within, or through your use of, that Service.

1.4 The Universal Terms, together with the Additional Terms, form a legally binding agreement between you and BURAGA.org in relation to your use of the Services. It is important that you take the time to read them carefully. Collectively, this legal agreement is referred to below as the “Terms”.

1.5 If there is any contradiction between what the Additional Terms say and what the Universal Terms say, then the Additional Terms shall take precedence in relation to that Service.

2. Accepting the Terms

2.1 In order to use the Services, you must first agree to the Terms. You may not use the Services if you do not accept the Terms.

2.2 You can accept the Terms by:

(A) clicking to accept or agree to the Terms, where this option is made available to you by BURAGA.org in the user interface for any Service; or

(B) by actually using the Services. In this case, you understand and agree that BURAGA.org will treat your use of the Services as acceptance of the Terms from that point onwards.
2.3 You may not use the Services and may not accept the Terms if (a) you are not of legal age to form a binding contract with BURAGA.org, or (b) you are a person barred from receiving the Services under the laws of the Timor-Leste or other countries including the country in which you are resident or from which you use the Services.

2.4 Before you continue, you should print off or save a local copy of the Universal Terms for your records.

3. Language of the Terms

3.1 Where BURAGA.org has provided you with a translation of the English language version of the Terms, then you agree that the translation is provided for your convenience only and that the English language versions of the Terms will govern your relationship with BURAGA.org.

3.2 If there is any contradiction between what the English language version of the Terms says and what a translation says, then the English language version shall take precedence.

4. Provision of The Services by BURAGA.org

4.1 BURAGA.org is constantly innovating in order to provide the best possible experience for its users. You acknowledge and agree that the form and nature of the Services which BURAGA.org provides may change from time to time without prior notice to you.

4.2 As part of this continuing innovation, you acknowledge and agree that BURAGA.org may stop (permanently or temporarily) providing the Services (or any features within the Services) to you or to users generally at BURAGA.org’s sole discretion, without prior notice to you. You may stop using the Services at any time. You do not need to specifically inform BURAGA.org when you stop using the Services.

4.3 You acknowledge and agree that if BURAGA.org disables access to your account, you may be prevented from accessing the Services, your account details or any files or other content which is contained in your account.

4.4 You acknowledge and agree that while BURAGA.org may not currently have set a fixed upper limit on the number of transmissions you may send or receive through the Services or on the amount of storage space used for the provision of any Service, such fixed upper limits may be set by BURAGA.org at any time, at BURAGA.org’s discretion.

5. Use of the Services by you

5.1 In order to access certain Services, you may be required to provide information about yourself (such as identification or contact details) as part of the registration process for the Service, or as part of your continued use of the Services. You agree that any registration information you give to BURAGA.org will always be accurate, correct and up to date.

5.2 You agree to use the Services only for purposes that are permitted by (a) the Terms and (b) any applicable law, regulation or generally accepted practices or guidelines in the relevant jurisdictions (including any laws regarding the export of data or software to and from the Timor-Leste or other relevant countries).

5.3 You agree not to access (or attempt to access) any of the Services by any means other than through the interface that is provided by BURAGA.org, unless you have been specifically allowed to do so in a separate agreement with BURAGA.org. You specifically agree not to access (or attempt to access) any of the Services through any automated means (including use of scripts or web crawlers) and shall ensure that you comply with the instructions set out in any robots.txt file present on the Services.

5.4 You agree that you will not engage in any activity that interferes with or disrupts the Services (or the servers and networks which are connected to the Services).

5.5 Unless you have been specifically permitted to do so in a separate agreement with BURAGA.org, you agree that you will not reproduce, duplicate, copy, sell, trade or resell the Services for any purpose.

5.6 You agree that you are solely responsible for (and that BURAGA.org has no responsibility to you or to any third party for) any breach of your obligations under the Terms and for the consequences (including any loss or damage which BURAGA.org may suffer) of any such breach.

6. Your passwords and account security

6.1 You agree and understand that you are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of passwords associated with any account you use to access the Services.

6.2 Accordingly, you agree that you will be solely responsible to BURAGA.org for all activities that occur under your account.

6.3 If you become aware of any unauthorized use of your password or of your account, you agree to notify BURAGA.org immediately at nobong (at) buraga dot org.

7. Privacy and your personal information

7.1 For information about BURAGA.org’s data protection practices, please read our privacy policy. This policy explains how BURAGA.org treats your personal information, and protects your privacy, when you use the Services.

7.2 You agree to the use of your data in accordance with BURAGA.org’s privacy policies.

8. Content in the Services

8.1 You understand that all information (such as data files, written text, computer software, music, audio files or other sounds, photographs, videos or other images) which you may have access to as part of, or through your use of, the Services are the sole responsibility of the person from which such content originated. All such information is referred to below as the “Content”.

8.2 You should be aware that Content presented to you as part of the Services, including but not limited to advertisements in the Services and sponsored Content within the Services may be protected by intellectual property rights which are owned by the sponsors or advertisers who provide that Content to BURAGA.org (or by other persons or companies on their behalf). You may not modify, rent, lease, loan, sell, distribute or create derivative works based on this Content (either in whole or in part) unless you have been specifically told that you may do so by BURAGA.org or by the owners of that Content, in a separate agreement.

8.3 BURAGA.org reserves the right (but shall have no obligation) to pre-screen, review, flag, filter, modify, refuse or remove any or all Content from any Service. For some of the Services, BURAGA.org may provide tools to filter out explicit sexual content. These tools include the SafeSearch preference settings. In addition, there are commercially available services to limit access to material that you may find objectionable.

8.4 You understand that by using the Services you may be exposed to Content that you may find offensive, indecent or objectionable and that, in this respect, you use the Services at your own risk.

8.5 You agree that you are solely responsible for (and that BURAGA.org has no responsibility to you or to any third party for) any Content that you create, transmit or display while using the Services and for the consequences of your actions (including any loss or damage which BURAGA.org may suffer) by doing so.

9. Proprietary rights

9.1 You acknowledge and agree that BURAGA.org own all legal right, title and interest in and to the Services, including any intellectual property rights which subsist in the Services (whether those rights happen to be registered or not, and wherever in the world those rights may exist). You further acknowledge that the Services may contain information which is designated confidential by BURAGA.org and that you shall not disclose such information without BURAGA.org prior written consent.

9.2 Unless you have agreed otherwise in writing with BURAGA.org, nothing in the Terms gives you a right to use any of BURAGA.org’s trade names, trade marks, service marks, logos, domain names, and other distinctive brand features.

9.3 If you have been given an explicit right to use any of these brand features in a separate written agreement with BURAGA.org, then you agree that your use of such features shall be in compliance with that agreement, any applicable provisions of the Terms, and BURAGA.org's brand feature use guidelines as updated from time to time.

9.4 BURAGA.org acknowledges and agrees that it obtains no right, title or interest from you (or your licensors) under these Terms in or to any Content that you submit, post, transmit or display on, or through, the Services, including any intellectual property rights which subsist in that Content (whether those rights happen to be registered or not, and wherever in the world those rights may exist). Unless you have agreed otherwise in writing with BURAGA.org, you agree that you are responsible for protecting and enforcing those rights and that BURAGA.org has no obligation to do so on your behalf.

9.5 You agree that you shall not remove, obscure, or alter any proprietary rights notices (including copyright and trade mark notices) which may be affixed to or contained within the Services.

9.6 Unless you have been expressly authorized to do so in writing by BURAGA.org, you agree that in using the Services, you will not use any trade mark, service mark, trade name, logo of any company or organization in a way that is likely or intended to cause confusion about the owner or authorized user of such marks, names or logos.

10. Content license from you

10.1 You retain copyright and any other rights you already hold in Content which you submit, post or display on or through, the Services. By submitting, posting or displaying the content you give BURAGA.org a perpetual, irrevocable, worldwide, royalty-free, and non-exclusive license to reproduce, adapt, modify, translate, publish, publicly perform, publicly display and distribute any Content which you submit, post or display on or through, the Services. This license is for the sole purpose of enabling BURAGA.org to display, distribute and promote the Services and may be revoked for certain Services as defined in the Additional Terms of those Services.

10.2 You agree that this license includes a right for BURAGA.org to make such Content available to other companies, organizations or individuals with whom BURAGA.org has relationships for the provision of syndicated services, and to use such Content in connection with the provision of those services.

10.3 You understand that BURAGA.org, in performing the required technical steps to provide the Services to our users, may (a) transmit or distribute your Content over various public networks and in various media; and (b) make such changes to your Content as are necessary to conform and adapt that Content to the technical requirements of connecting networks, devices, services or media. You agree that this license shall permit BURAGA.org to take these actions.

10.4 You confirm and warrant to BURAGA.org that you have all the rights, power and authority necessary to grant the above license.

11. Ending your relationship with BURAGA.org

11.1 The Terms will continue to apply until terminated by either you or BURAGA.org as set out below.

11.2 If you want to terminate your legal agreement with BURAGA.org, you may do so by (a) notifying BURAGA.org at any time and (b) closing your accounts for all of the Services which you use, where BURAGA.org has made this option available to you. Your notice should be sent, in writing, to BURAGA.org’s email address.

11.3 BURAGA.org may at any time, terminate its legal agreement with you if:

(A) you have breached any provision of the Terms (or have acted in manner which clearly shows that you do not intend to, or are unable to comply with the provisions of the Terms); or
(B) BURAGA.org is required to do so by law (for example, where the provision of the Services to you is, or becomes, unlawful); or
(C) the partner with whom BURAGA.org offered the Services to you has terminated its relationship with BURAGA.org or ceased to offer the Services to you; or
(D) BURAGA.org is transitioning to no longer providing the Services to users in the country in which you are resident or from which you use the service; or
11.4 Nothing in this Section shall affect BURAGA.org’s rights regarding provision of Services under Section 4 of the Terms.

11.5 When these Terms come to an end, all of the legal rights, obligations and liabilities that you and BURAGA.org have benefited from, been subject to (or which have accrued over time whilst the Terms have been in force) or which are expressed to continue indefinitely, shall be unaffected by this cessation, and the provisions of General Legal Terms shall continue to apply to such rights, obligations and liabilities indefinitely.

12. EXCLUSION OF WARRANTIES

12.1 NOTHING IN THESE TERMS, INCLUDING SECTIONS EXCLUSION OF WARRANTIES AND LIMITATION OF LIABILITIES, SHALL EXCLUDE OR LIMIT BURAGA.org’S WARRANTY OR LIABILITY FOR LOSSES WHICH MAY NOT BE LAWFULLY EXCLUDED OR LIMITED BY APPLICABLE LAW. SOME JURISDICTIONS DO NOT ALLOW THE EXCLUSION OF CERTAIN WARRANTIES OR CONDITIONS OR THE LIMITATION OR EXCLUSION OF LIABILITY FOR LOSS OR DAMAGE CAUSED BY NEGLIGENCE, BREACH OF CONTRACT OR BREACH OF IMPLIED TERMS, OR INCIDENTAL OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES. ACCORDINGLY, ONLY THE LIMITATIONS WHICH ARE LAWFUL IN YOUR JURISDICTION WILL APPLY TO YOU AND OUR LIABILITY WILL BE LIMITED TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW.

12.2 YOU EXPRESSLY UNDERSTAND AND AGREE THAT YOUR USE OF THE SERVICES IS AT YOUR SOLE RISK AND THAT THE SERVICES ARE PROVIDED "AS IS" AND “AS AVAILABLE.”

12.3 IN PARTICULAR, BURAGA.org, ITS SUBSIDIARIES AND AFFILIATES, AND ITS LICENSORS DO NOT REPRESENT OR WARRANT TO YOU THAT:

(A) YOUR USE OF THE SERVICES WILL MEET YOUR REQUIREMENTS,
(B) YOUR USE OF THE SERVICES WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, TIMELY, SECURE OR FREE FROM ERROR,
(C) ANY INFORMATION OBTAINED BY YOU AS A RESULT OF YOUR USE OF THE SERVICES WILL BE ACCURATE OR RELIABLE, AND
(D) THAT DEFECTS IN THE OPERATION OR FUNCTIONALITY OF ANY SOFTWARE PROVIDED TO YOU AS PART OF THE SERVICES WILL BE CORRECTED.
12.4 ANY MATERIAL DOWNLOADED OR OTHERWISE OBTAINED THROUGH THE USE OF THE SERVICES IS DONE AT YOUR OWN DISCRETION AND RISK AND THAT YOU WILL BE SOLELY RESPONSIBLE FOR ANY DAMAGE TO YOUR COMPUTER SYSTEM OR OTHER DEVICE OR LOSS OF DATA THAT RESULTS FROM THE DOWNLOAD OF ANY SUCH MATERIAL.

12.5 NO ADVICE OR INFORMATION, WHETHER ORAL OR WRITTEN, OBTAINED BY YOU FROM BURAGA.org OR THROUGH OR FROM THE SERVICES SHALL CREATE ANY WARRANTY NOT EXPRESSLY STATED IN THE TERMS.

12.6 BURAGA.org FURTHER EXPRESSLY DISCLAIMS ALL WARRANTIES AND CONDITIONS OF ANY KIND, WHETHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING, BUT NOT LIMITED TO THE IMPLIED WARRANTIES AND CONDITIONS OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE AND NON-INFRINGEMENT.

13. LIMITATION OF LIABILITY

13.1 SUBJECT TO OVERALL PROVISION IN EXCLUSION OF WARRANTIES, YOU EXPRESSLY UNDERSTAND AND AGREE THAT BURAGA.org, ITS SUBSIDIARIES AND AFFILIATES, AND ITS LICENSORS SHALL NOT BE LIABLE TO YOU FOR:

(A) ANY DIRECT, INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL CONSEQUENTIAL OR EXEMPLARY DAMAGES WHICH MAY BE INCURRED BY YOU, HOWEVER CAUSED AND UNDER ANY THEORY OF LIABILITY.. THIS SHALL INCLUDE, BUT NOT BE LIMITED TO, ANY LOSS OF PROFIT (WHETHER INCURRED DIRECTLY OR INDIRECTLY), ANY LOSS OF GOODWILL OR BUSINESS REPUTATION, ANY LOSS OF DATA SUFFERED, COST OF PROCUREMENT OF SUBSTITUTE GOODS OR SERVICES, OR OTHER INTANGIBLE LOSS;

(B) ANY LOSS OR DAMAGE WHICH MAY BE INCURRED BY YOU, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO LOSS OR DAMAGE AS A RESULT OF:

(I) ANY RELIANCE PLACED BY YOU ON THE COMPLETENESS, ACCURACY OR EXISTENCE OF ANY ADVERTISING, OR AS A RESULT OF ANY RELATIONSHIP OR TRANSACTION BETWEEN YOU AND ANY ADVERTISER OR SPONSOR WHOSE ADVERTISING APPEARS ON THE SERVICES;

(II) ANY CHANGES WHICH BURAGA.org MAY MAKE TO THE SERVICES, OR FOR ANY PERMANENT OR TEMPORARY CESSATION IN THE PROVISION OF THE SERVICES (OR ANY FEATURES WITHIN THE SERVICES);

(III) THE DELETION OF, CORRUPTION OF, OR FAILURE TO STORE, ANY CONTENT AND OTHER COMMUNICATIONS DATA MAINTAINED OR TRANSMITTED BY OR THROUGH YOUR USE OF THE SERVICES;

(III) YOUR FAILURE TO PROVIDE BURAGA.org WITH ACCURATE ACCOUNT INFORMATION;

(IV) YOUR FAILURE TO KEEP YOUR PASSWORD OR ACCOUNT DETAILS SECURE AND CONFIDENTIAL;
13.2 THE LIMITATIONS ON BURAGA.org’S LIABILITY TO YOU SHALL APPLY WHETHER OR NOT BURAGA.org HAS BEEN ADVISED OF OR SHOULD HAVE BEEN AWARE OF THE POSSIBILITY OF ANY SUCH LOSSES ARISING.

14. Copyright and trade mark policies

14.1 It is BURAGA.org’s policy to respond to notices of alleged copyright infringement that comply with applicable international intellectual property law (including, in the United States, the Digital Millennium Copyright Act) and to terminating the accounts of repeat infringers. Details of BURAGA.org’s policy can be found at BURAGA.org Disclaimer Policy.

14.2 BURAGA.org operates a trade mark complaints procedure in respect of BURAGA.org’s advertising business. For complaints you can contact us at nobong (at) buraga dot org.

15. Advertisements

15.1 Some of the Services are supported by advertising revenue and may display advertisements and promotions. These advertisements may be targeted to the content of information stored on the Services, queries made through the Services or other information.

15.2 The manner, mode and extent of advertising by BURAGA.org on the Services are subject to change without specific notice to you.

15.3 In consideration for BURAGA.org granting you access to and use of the Services, you agree that BURAGA.org may place such advertising on the Services.

16. Other content

16.1 The Services may include hyperlinks to other web sites or content or resources. BURAGA.org may have no control over any web sites or resources which are provided by companies or persons other than BURAGA.org.

16.2 You acknowledge and agree that BURAGA.org is not responsible for the availability of any such external sites or resources, and does not endorse any advertising, products or other materials on or available from such web sites or resources.

16.3 You acknowledge and agree that BURAGA.org is not liable for any loss or damage which may be incurred by you as a result of the availability of those external sites or resources, or as a result of any reliance placed by you on the completeness, accuracy or existence of any advertising, products or other materials on, or available from, such web sites or resources.

17. Changes to the Terms

17.1 BURAGA.org may make changes to the Universal Terms or Additional Terms from time to time. When these changes are made, BURAGA.org will make a new copy of the Universal Terms and any new Additional Terms will be made available to you from within, or through, the affected Services.

17.2 You understand and agree that if you use the Services after the date on which the Universal Terms or Additional Terms have changed, BURAGA.org will treat your use as acceptance of the updated Universal Terms or Additional Terms.

18. General legal terms

18.1 Sometimes when you use the Services, you may (as a result of, or through your use of the Services) use a service, or purchase goods, which are provided by another person or company. Your use of these other services, software or goods may be subject to separate terms between you and the company or person concerned. If so, the Terms do not affect your legal relationship with these other companies or individuals.

18.2 The Terms constitute the whole legal agreement between you and BURAGA.org and govern your use of the Services (but excluding any services which BURAGA.org may provide to you under a separate written agreement), and completely replace any prior agreements between you and BURAGA.org in relation to the Services.

18.3 You agree that BURAGA.org may provide you with notices, including those regarding changes to the Terms, by email, regular mail, or postings on the Services.

18.4 You agree that if BURAGA.org does not exercise or enforce any legal right or remedy which is contained in the Terms (or which BURAGA.org has the benefit of under any applicable law), this will not be taken to be a formal waiver of BURAGA.org’s rights and that those rights or remedies will still be available to BURAGA.org.

18.5 If any court of law, having the jurisdiction to decide on this matter, rules that any provision of these Terms is invalid, then that provision will be removed from the Terms without affecting the rest of the Terms. The remaining provisions of the Terms will continue to be valid and enforceable.

18.6 You acknowledge and agree that each member of the group of companies of which BURAGA.org is the parent shall be third party beneficiaries to the Terms and that such other companies shall be entitled to directly enforce, and rely upon, any provision of the Terms which confers a benefit on (or rights in favor of) them. Other than this, no other person or company shall be third party beneficiaries to the Terms.

18.7 The Terms, and your relationship with BURAGA.org under the Terms, shall be governed by the laws of Timor-Leste without regard to its conflict of laws provisions. You and BURAGA.org agree to submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts located within Timor-Leste to resolve any legal matter arising from the Terms. Notwithstanding this, you agree that BURAGA.org shall still be allowed to apply for injunctive remedies (or an equivalent type of urgent legal relief) in any jurisdiction.

At BURAGA.org, the privacy of our visitors is of extreme importance to us. This Privacy Policy governs the manner in which BURAGA.org collects, uses, maintains and discloses information collected from users (each, a "User") of the BURAGA.org website ("Site"). Log Files

Users may be asked for, as appropriate, name, email address, mailing address, phone number. Users may, however, visit our Site anonymously. We will collect personal identification information from Users only if they voluntarily submit such information to us. Users can always refuse to supply personally identification information, except that it may prevent them from engaging in certain Site related activities.

Non-personal Identification Information

BURAGA.org collects and uses Users personal information for the following purposes:

Our Site is in compliance with PCI vulnerability standards in order to create as secure of an environment as possible for Users.

We do not sell, trade, or rent Users personal identification information to others. We may share generic aggregated demographic information not linked to any personal identification information regarding visitors and users with our business partners, trusted affiliates and advertisers for the purposes outlined above. Browsing and interaction on any other website, including websites which have a link to our Site, is subject to that website's own terms and policies.

Advertising

Some of our advertising partners may use cookies and web beacons on our site. Our advertising partners include:

Google Adsense, Commission Junction and Amazon.

These third-party ad servers or ad networks use technology to the advertisements and links that appear on BURAGA.org send directly to your browsers. They automatically receive your IP address when this occurs. Other technologies ( such as cookies, JavaScript, or Web Beacons ) may also be used by the third-party ad networks to measure the effectiveness of their advertisements and / or to personalize the advertising content that you see.

BURAGA.org has no access to or control over these cookies that are used by third-party advertisers.
