1 box crackers
1 cup canola oil
1 Tbl crushed red pepper
1 pkt ranch dressing
2 gal baggie

Pour oil into baggie. Add red pepper & dried dressing. Add all 4 packages of crackers. Eat after 24 hours.

I'm trying this using a packet of Caesar's dried dressing. Also purchased Italian.

Using multi grain & wheat crackers.

Walnut Valley Bluegrass Festival

is coming this weekend.

For the first time in it's 30+ years there will be no camping on site.
Hurricane Ike rain caused the river to flood the fairgrounds.

Land rush participants had come early to set up camp & had to be evacuated.

There are campers all over town. Saw some at Dillon's & Wal Mart parking lots.
There are some at the park by GE & Rubbermaid.
Most moved out to the lake & over to Oxford.

Been told that the music at camps is the best part of the festival.

This stained glass was in a sale box at a place in Wichita.
When we went to pay for it the owner commented that it
was a deal & old. It shouldn't have been in the sale box.
So my husband made a frame & we hung it with leather over our faux window.

Ceiling water damage

Had a new furnace installed 19 months ago. I remember the time frame cause I paid it off in July. They were NOT suppose to put another hole in the metal roof. Were SUPPOSE to tie into another vent. They not only put another hole in the roof, but tied it to the old asphalt roof. This means it isn't snug into the metal so it has leaked. We've had alot of rain these last 2 years.

They came to fix it. Siliconed seam then told me the guy who did the work was canned.

We are removing all popcorn ceilings & texturing from the older part of the house. This spot will need new sheetrock before we texture.

Love this stuff. It says whitener, but it has more of a shine for me.
Used it during camping & saved my nails.
It lasts a week on my nails & longer on my toes.

Stalled remodel

This old home was going to be offered for wedding receptions & parties. Our liberal state senator nixed the idea because of her percieved parking problem. She lives several blocks away. The owners lost the bid to rezone & stopped working on the outside. It has 2 cool painted weather vanes I'll have to try & take close ups pictures of. It is a block off of the courthouse which would have parking in the evenings & weekends.

I'm thankful the outside of our house doesn't need this much work, but we do need to paint trim. Wonder how the inside remodel is coming.

These bras are from GAP. I purchased a brown one in June. It works as a faux undershirt.
I wear it with some deep v tops & it peeks out & looks like a brown undershirt.
It only goes to size 36 though.
Staps are removable & also cross.
