Clearly, lack of sleep is a big problem for some people, regardless of where they live. In the United States, the problem is very serious. According to the&nbsp;<a href="https://www.cdc.gov/sleep/data-research/facts-stats/adults-sleep-facts-and-stats.html">U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC)</a>, about 35% of American adults report getting less than the recommended 7 hours of sleep on a regular basis, with rates varying by state, ethnicity, age, and gender. While the percentage of adults who don&#8217;t sleep well varies based on location, ethnicity, employment, and marital status, no group is entirely unaffected.</p>
