Fist off we will have three topics in todays Burning Bolts Blog Post. First up is about Phoenix Radio, after that The Droid X, And then Starcraft II Wings Of Liberty.

A great mix Of Audio, Hardware, And Gaming.

Phoenix Radio:

If other haven't noticed. There is a podcast by "Burning Bolts Blog" called "Phoenix Radio" Which is set to launch sometime soon. The Host is none other than me. With Co-Host Liam Knightwish.

We are looking for topics to talk about...Weather it be Technology, School, Life, And current events. If something that is interesting has recently happened and you would like to hear us talk about it. Just comment on this post with a link to an article of some sort and we will glady take it into consideration.
Something else we are looking for are guests. We don't care if you are well know in the communities or just some random person that has something to say. If you have a decent sounding microphone we will gladly have you on the show.

Droid X, Defective Unit?

As some may know. I got the new Droid X from Motorola And Verizon recently. But others also may know that I am currently without a phone...Why is that? Well I had a defective Droid X. Thats right, The currently highest rated Verizon device had a defective unit. But what else can you expect? It was a defective device from launch. Its bound to happen.
What exactly happened? Well...first might want to know what it was like when the device failed. It was a very simple death...Battery died...Phone didn't turn back on after plugged in. All it would show when plugged in would be the Motorola Logo, And after maybe 5 minuets the screen would turn off and repeat the logo process. After taking it to the Verizon store and giving the guys there a mouthful because they get rid of their Tech-On-Site Program, They gladly ordered me a new one and it is set to arrive tomorrow.
If I get around to it. Maybe you guys can expect a full review here on the Burning Bolts Blog.

StarCraft II Wings Of Liberty!

Set to launch on the 27th of July, StarCraft II Wings of Liberty has caught many peoples attention, Including the Staff of Burning Bolts. Luckily enough, Ive was able to Beta Test the game from the Day Phase 1 of Beta Testing had started.
Going from a guy that professional plays FPS games such as Counter Strike Source, Ive gladly hopped into the RTS Field. Why? Well my good Pro Gamer friend Chad, djgooky, Dutcher was playing the Beta of SCII and its Beautiful integration of Gameplay and Graphics automatically dragged me in. He immediately (After he kicked the guys ass) took me to the nearest gamestop to grab my Beta Key before they were all gone. Ever since then SCII has had my attention. Its a game I WILL be playing for a while! Be sure to pick it up when it comes out 7/27/10..."Hell...Its about time"

San Japan :3

After a wonderful time at the 3rd annual San Japan Anime convention, I decided to type up this blog post.
For those that didn't or don't know, I cosplay as Greed from the Full Metal Alchemist Series.
Please enjoy the post regarding to San Japan and Amazing people that I mention throughout.

Day 1-
Well damn! Its finally here! San Japan :3 Woke up...Got in the shower as fast As I could. Listened to some good music. And then started getting all the little things ready. I had some trouble with My Friend Sam/Halogen who is currently getting his fan Character "Halogen" worked on. His father and my mother talked it out to he could make it friday! Thank god! Finally I finished getting dresses and made it over to the Marriott Hotel where the convention was held on the 2nd and 3rd floor. As I walk through the door, putting my LARP (Live Action Role Play) Dagger in my jacket pocket, I spot on old friend...Desire! She was with...well...I guessed it...A NEW guy. Haha. Anyway. I walk up to her. Tell her my hello's and then happily make my way upstairs to registration. Once I got up the escalator and was stopped by two VERY tractive young ladies. Now If you can imagine a very sexy voice calling you over...What are you going to do? Go the other way? I DON'T THINK SO! So...Of course like every other con-go'er, they wanted a hug. So I went over and being that they were.."attractive" I put on the sexy deep voice and said very softly with a manly voice, "Hello Laides" (I tended to say this the rest of the con to people that were hot XD). And after giving then their hug...I shit you not..;.Their only comment was "Sexy, Dayum!"...Anyway. Must finish day one post. Now after registering I went as fast as I could to the Sleeping Samurai area. I was glad I brought my dagger because I was able to get 5 bucks off any new purchase. So I bought a medium blade sword. Now I can play all the weekend for free! It only set my back $25! Thanks Calub! http://thesleepingsamurai.com/
After much fighting...Meeting some really cool new friends, It was Seven o'clock and Sam/Halogen was downstairs waiting for me. I met up with him and took him to registration. After telling him about the story with the two girls...Two other girls do the exact same thing...My only answer now is Puberty for the win.
Anyway...I take Sam to the Sleeping Samurai arena and he buys himself a sword too. That means free play for both of us, and we can now practice at home. After some really good Exhibition matches with Sam, A new Friend Ashton and some other kid. It's time for some LARPing games....Within about 10 minuets Sam gets hurt. So I play for alittle bit longer and then the rave starts up. Doors open and well...The enthusiasm just wasn't there. Day 1...Over...

Day 2-
Wake up...And its about 9. I threw a pillow at Sam's head to wake him up. I get my hair fixed. Get my clothes on and because Sam's hand still hurt. We decided to not LARP for the next two days...Oh well.
We get there and Its a MUCH better day. We met this one cool guy named Buddy. If I had Buddy's youtube channel...I would post it here. But Since I don't...Let's keep on going. He's a modder and retro gamer...Also a fairly big Sonic The Hedgehog fan. So that was a plus for me and Sam. He introduced us to a lot of new....well actually old things. He was also somewhat cosplaying as SonicTH. After stopping to play some DDR...we met this other guy was convincing Sam to try that Japanese drink that I can't spell. This guy play a big role in a story I can't really say...But lets just say Me, Sam, Him, And three other girls have a great time together the rest of the day.
Me and Sam just kinda Chill at the wall outside and have this one girl dressed as Edward Elric. Call us hot and Glomps us...Oh well...It's not like it hasn't happened. We end up talking...She uses booby power...(Inside joke) and we befriend each other as Con-Friends. (Con-friends is a term I made that means someone you meet and will Most DEFINITELY keep in touch with later on outside of the con)
Her, her 2 friends, And Me, Sam, And that other guy end up hanging out and having really interesting conversation the rest of the day that I cannot speak of. Long story short...When the rave came around...It felt like a club...Then again...I felt a lot of things that night...We miss you already Chloe :D

Day 3-
Not much to say about day three....We got up really late....Checked out random things...Watched Spain win the world Fifa cup...Got my arm clawed for it too...And well...We had to say good bye...And goodbye to the con too. Me and Sam...we felt it was time to go home...We just kinda chilled and waited for the hour and a half or so to pass by....My and Sam actually see eachother in like..12 hours because of P.E. Camp, So we knew we'd see eachother soon.

That was it for San Japan :3 A wonderful experience for Sam, A guy who has never been to a con. He also will be attending other Anime Conventions around Texas with me...Aswell as Sonicon...which we WLL HAVE VIDEO FOR.

Welcome to Burning Bolts Blog! Blog Post #1!

It's Finally here! After My Sister Gazelle had convinced me that I need to get a blog because shes tired of listening to my rants, Here it is! Big thanks to her for the support. She was very nice about it.

Now to start off. For those of you who don't know....My name is Dib Garcia. When it comes to the gaming world. I go strictly by either Master Or Phoenix. Calling me both names together "Master Phoenix" Ingame is just too much! So Master or Phoenix will do!

A little Backstory-
   After I had obtained my Apple Macintosh G5 in 2005 mainly thanks to my (R.I.P.) Grandfather, I have broadened my horizons for technology, Social Media, and many other things of the sort. I first started off watching little Newgrounds flash animations of Sonic The Hedgehog. Who is my idle for ever and beyond. After getting my Mac I had decided I wanted to try and create something like that. Mind you I was about 10...
   So My first Animation came out alittle strange. Something that would be impossible to create today. After messing around with the amazing and wonderful program by Adobe "Flash CS3". I had taken my sights to Graphic Arts. Which is what I claim myself to be to this very day. A Graphic Artist. Lots of time went by were I was home sick from school...and well...there was nothing to do. No TV show really appealed to me. So the only logical thing to do was to hop on my new best friend, My iMac. 2 years went by of messing around and obtaining lots of knowledge in the Flash field.
   Within that time I had kick started a couple of SonicTH flash projects. One being named, Survivor - Lunar Island. Which was a Survivor The TV Show inspired Sonic Animation. This Animation didn't even make it to its Alpha stage and was dropped not too long after I realized that My OCD wouldn't let me do it without doing TOO much work for my 12 year old brain to handle.
   The next project was then named Sonic Invaders. An action packed "Action Movie" inspired Sonic Flash which barely made it to its Alpha stage and was then dropped after I was bullied on the internet into a Cyber Depression, causing me to lose a lot of stability and skills in various programs. Flash happened to take most damage in the Action Script field.

Its been about 2 years since those events...And I've been secretly been working with my fellow Burning Bolts Staff to create and animation that will not have anything released about it except for the fact that we have a VERY strong team working on the animation... As well as the fact that about 5% is done of Episode one. So It has technically passed its Beta Stages and Is moving its way up in a priority list.

Enough about Animation for tonight. I got maybe one or two more posts to make before I hit the sack!
