Bus ATB po dahlia indah dari kota tulungagung yang pernah merajai jalanan dengan khas bus balap,,

berikut merupakan sedikit sejarah yang menyebabkan beberapa faktor kemunduran perusaan bus po dahlia indah tulungagung, dikutip dari enam-roda.

Jalur Blitar-Tulungagung-Kediri-Madiun-Solo-Jogja/Purwokerto adalah salah satu trayek yang cukup lama beroperasi. Jalur ini selain dilayani oleh armada bumel juga menjadi jalur bus-bus malam jurusan jakarta dan bandung. Dulunya trayek ini boleh dibilang dikuasai oleh dua perusahaan besar, DAHLIA INDAH di Tulungagung, dan HASTI di Kediri. Pada masa kejayaannya kedua PO ini sangat populer di masyarakat pengguna jasa angkutan bus. menyandang image “bus balap” sebagaimana umumnya pemain di jalur saradan-caruban, kedua PO ini bahkan tak terkalahkan oleh PO-PO Surabaya-Jogja semacam EKA, MIRA, SUMBER KENCONO, MAPAN, JAYA UTAMA atau TRIGAYA.

Akan tetapi kehancuran yang dialami oleh kedua PO ini merubah kondisi trayek yang sebenarnya padat penumpang ini. HASTI tampaknya tak mampu terus-terusan “balapan” di jalur tengkorak ini, armadanya perlahan-lahan habis akibat seringnya mengalami laka. Bahkan “saudara kembar” nya, JAYA RAYA, juga ambruk ditimpa masalah yang sama. DAHLIA INDAH juga mengalami nasib yang tak jauh berbeda, armadanya hancur meski bukan karena laka, melainkan disinyalir karena tingkah laku kru-nya yang sering mencampur bahan bakar solar dengan minyak tanah bahkan minyak goreng(mau bikin gorengan mesin kali ya..hahahahaha). akibatnya armada-armada lambat laun DAHLIA INDAH tak mampu bersaing lagi dengan kecepatan MIRA, EKA ataupun SUMBER KENCONO dan terus mengalami penurunan dari segi kuantitas armada.

Hancurnya HASTI sebenarnya membuat DAHLIA INDAH menjadi pemain tunggal di jalur ini, akan tetapi hal ini tidak diimbangi dengan pelayanan yang bagus kepada konsumen. Tarif yang cenderung ngawur(khas bus setoran), armada yang kurang memadai masih ditambah pula dengan kebiasaan ngetem berjam-jam membuat bus ini lambat laun ditinggalkan konsumennya. Di pihak lain bus-bus yang beroperasi di trayek Surabaya-Madiun-Solo-Jogja mengalami peningkatan kualitas armada dan pelayanan yang signifikan. Meski banyak pemain lama yang berguguran sehingga hanya menyisakan EKA, MIRA dan SUMBER KENCONO, tetapi persaingan yang kompetitif di antara PO-PO ini membuat Gap antara dua trayek ini menjadi amat jauh. Hal ini berakibat pada beralihnya perilaku konsumen. Konsumen cenderung lebih suka “mengoper diri sendiri” dengan naik bus jurusan Tulungagung/Kediri-Kertosono-Surabaya sebelum menyambung bus jurusan Madiun-Solo-Jogja di kertosono, begitu juga sebaliknya. Ditambah lagi bus-bus yang beroperasi di jalur Tulungagung/Kediri-Kertosono-Surabaya juga mengalami peningkatan dalam hal pelayanan dan armada.

Jika perilaku konsumen ini bertahan dalam beberapa waktu lamanya, mungkin dapat dipastikan bahwa trayek ini mungkin akan segera mati. Sungguh ironis memang, sebuah trayek dengan kuota penumpang yang cukup signifikan harus “terhapus” dari peta jalur bus Indonesia. Untuk mencegah hal ini tentu para operator trayek ini harus mengusahakan untuk mengubah lagi perilaku konsumen pengguna jalur ini. Faktor eksternal yang dalam hal ini berupa kemajuan dari trayek lain yang bersinggungan dengan trayek ini tentu tidak dapat dicegah. Yang bisa dilakukan tentunya perbaikan faktor intern, yakni kualitas pelayanan dan armada dari pemain-pemain di jalur ini. Meski tampaknya sangat sulit berharap pemain tunggal jaur ini, DAHLIA INDAH akan mengubah orientasi dan kebijakan manajemen perusahaannya.

Keadaan ini sebenarnya sempat ditangkap oleh beberapa PO yang berusaha mengambil peluang dari “keanehan” jalur ini. ROSALIA INDAH muncul dengan trayek yang hampir sama persis dengan DAHLIA INDAH, yaitu Malang-Blitar-Tulungagung-Kediri-Madiun-Solo-Jogja-Purwokerto-Cilacap. Tetapi sebagaimana brand ROSALIA INDAH, PO ini hanya menawarkan bus-bus malam yang pangsa pasarnya tentu berbeda dengan Bus bumel. Kemudian muncul harapan besar ketika RESTU dengan armada ATB Pandanya hadir dengan trayek aneh Tulungagung-Madiun-Solo-Surabaya-Tulungagung. Semua orang pasti mengenal reputasi RESTU yang menggebrak dunia bis jawa timur dengan Restu Panda. Tetapi ternyata RESTU juga tidak bertahan lama, beberapa bulan setelah beroperasi armada Panda menghilang dari terminal Tulungagung. Tampaknya 1 unit armada panda belum mampu menunjukkan keseriusan PO yang berasal dari kota apel ini untuk “mengamankan” jalur ini.

Sekarang satu-satunya harapan ada pada DAHLIA INDAH, asa mulai muncul ketika 2 unit ATB Dahlia mulai tampak perpal di Terminal Tulungagung. Tentu semoga saja hal ini tidak sekedar menjadi alat promosi semata dari DAHLIA INDAH, tapi juga sebuah usaha untuk menjaga dan melestarikan trayek yang telah membesarkan nama mereka dan yang telah menghidupi perusahaan dan karyawan-karyawan mereka, dari ancaman kepunahan.

Portsmouth Corporation had 115 trolleybuses in its fleet.
The first 15 (1934) were a motley collection of chassis/electrical equipment and bodies, four and six wheelers, bought for evaluation.

The next nine (1935/36) were, to me, the most handsome of them all, were AEC/EE ones with English Electric bodies. Unable to move under their own power, they lived a shadowy life, latterly neglected and shabby. See here for a ‘smart’ photo of one.
The last 15 (301-315), BUT9611T, with Burlingham bodies, were the last delivered, in 1951, for a route extension.

294, from the third order, in the range (225-300), was the largest group delivered, in 1936/37. Amazingly, with not a Craven body appearing previously, these wore those bodies! They bore the brunt of the services and proved to be sound vehicles all round, although the ash bodies needed rebuilding during their 26/27 year lives.

In this rare colour photograph, 294 (like the Leyland PD1A/Weymann bus I recently posted), is also crossing Guildhall Square on tennis racquet-shaped route 17/18 from Eastney to the Dockyard, 17 anti-clockwise and 18 clockwise. The destination would be changed at Dockyard and Eastney. This photo was taken on an early Summer’s evening in 1963, on the cusp of the system’s demise on 27th July 1963. 294 lasted to the end.
Two trolleybuses have survived, but neither of them represents this range; a loss really, for I’m not aware of Craven using this body design for any other vehicles.
