Uncertainty is the beauty of life; the personal finance is full of uncertainty as well. Having fixed income has been the best and secure way to lead a descent life, and that is what everybody tries to achieve in their life.

During the financial crunch, which may strike at any time, one should always be prepared for that. Managing personal fiancé involves discipline lifestyle and few management approaches those to be implemented.

Obviously, no one anticipate that it could strike so early, he or she is being already trapped in financial crisis. Hardly do there any time left for the person to undo his or her past actions.

While managing personal finance for a tough situation one should aim for sustainability alongwith meeting the current requirements. For that, the current savings could be allocated in portfolio to get proper return.

The big question is how much fund does one require to maintain the current income sources intact? The answer is very simple, but just more than impossible to implement. The answer to that query is, one does need around 130 times of his current monthly income, to get the equal amount of monthly income from the funds.

That sounds nonsense for many but true indeed, if you want to have your income regularly from sources without having single effort. In order to manage personal finance, one need to focus on the expenditure site, whether any waste expenditure is being incurred, which immediately need to be cut off from the expenses list?

The basic law is that one should maintain surplus in income to avoid any financially disturbed life. The best mantra is to strike a balance; it should be towards surplus side of income and deficit side of the expenditure.

Do not worry during the financial crunch time, rather you can sit down and plan everything beforehand it drown you completely into crisis.

How did you feel about the recent fixing tales in IPL matches? The peace bowler Srishant has accepted his blunder of spot fixing, and the media has also highlighted his indication to bookies in form of signals while bowling.

Cricket is no longer to be call game of Gentlemen’s. Racism and fixing have been there in the international cricket. Some of the Pakistan cricketers were charged with fixing matches recently and perhaps this is the first time that it moved on IPL players.

Surprisingly, the trio players betrayed the people and cricket lovers with involving the spot fixing. The game of the Indian Premier League (IPL) has been on the successful tournaments in the world.

The tournament has been one of the most expensive and profit making venture, where all owners, those invested have been doing simply business by entertaining crowd.

The channels have been also earning huge chunk of profit by telecasting it. The fixing was there to gain from spot fixing, and the three players reportedly agreed to dance to the tune of bookies, which landed them behind bars leaving a mark on the IPL game.

After the issue of the spot fixing the taste of IPL has been fade away. Cricket fans might not be fond of cricket again at least over the IPL matches, and may not take the rest of the matches seriously.

Odisha based and India’s leading value added ferro-chrome producer, Indian Metal & Ferro Alloys (IMFA) has witnessed the highest ever turnover in its operational history.

As per the reports published In OdishaDiary, IMFA’s FY13 revenues are valued at Rs 1,273.25 cr and EBIDTA (Earnings Before Interest, Taxes, Depreciation and Amortization) at Rs 284.43 cr. IMFA exports have also seen a marginal increase of more than 12 crores.

As compared to FY12 revenue stats, IMFA has 7% more revenues in FY 13 and the EBIDTA has seen 21% growth as compared to the stats of FY13.

While announcing the results MD & CEO of IMFA, Mr. Subhrakant Panda said “The year gone by has been extremely challenging with demand remaining muted and all commodity prices coming under pressure. Results for FY13 and, in particular, Q4 were impacted by higher depreciation on account of the commissioning of Unit 1 (60 MW) of the new Captive Power Plant, deferred tax and an exceptional charge relating to the Posco joint venture. However, the long term impact of the new power generation capacity and the joint venture far outweigh any short term implications and we remain confident about future prospects."

India is the second largest producers of wheat and rice in the world and the contribution of the agriculture sector has been magnificent for many decades. Bu the pace of the agriculture growth has been unable to complete with the growth rate of the Indian economy.

Agriculture and allied sectors have been contributing around 16 per cent to the Gross Domestic Product (GDP) in 2009. India is a country of rural population and majority of the population do reside in villages, where the reach of the tertiary sector is limited or beyond their reach.

The poor infrastructure and irrigation facilities were some of the major concerns that Indian famers have been facing. Considering the job sector in India, agriculture still plays vital role in job creations. Youth in rural area have been engaged in the agriculture sectors and contributing a lot in the development of the nation in both social and economical.

The recent reports of farmers suicide were some the stains on the India system that should need the proper attention towards their problem. However, the agriculture credit waiving schemes were some of the major schemes that government has started in that direction.

Despite the hindrances, India becomes the second largest producer of several dry fruits, agriculture-based textile raw materials, roots and tuber crops, pulses, farmed fish, eggs, coconut, sugarcane and numerous vegetables in the world.

Comparing to the industrial growth index the agriculture sector has been performing well and it should be given chances to excel further. The Gramin Sadak Yojna and golden quadrilateral projects helped a lot to farmers and ultimately given some benefit to the agriculture sector.

The major aim was to connect the rural area to urban area has been successful, which was proved a milestone in the growth of agriculture sector in India. As per the macro economics terms, agriculture in India involves seasonal employment due the lack for proper irrigation facilities.

But the scenario has been changed in some areas, where farmers are getting benefit of double crops including Kharif crop. Earlier, they used to have single crop after the monsoon, the double crop has doubled the productivity.

Due the monsoon, the green revolution might not be witnessed in all the states of India leaving few, those have been good record of agriculture production.

In fiscal year ending June 2011, with a normal monsoon season, Indian agriculture accomplished an all-time record production of 85.9 million tons of wheat, a 6.4 percent increase from a year earlier. Rice output in India also hit a new record at 95.3 million tons, a 7% increase from the year earlier.

After Karnataka, the Congress party may eye for victory in Odisha. The political scenario in Odisha is quite similar to Karnataka. There B S Yeddurappa was successful in dethroning the Bharatiya Janata Party. In a move to strengthen the party, the Congress chief has appointed Jayadeb Jena as Odisha Pradesh Congress Committee president replacing Niranjan Patnaik.

Pyari Mohan Mohapatra one the key member of the Biju Janta Dal (BJD) left the party and formed his own Odisha Jana Morcha(OJM). There were many media reports that Pyari’s party OJM may damage the vote bank of the BJD. The state is also heading for the mega poll and all the parties have been preparing for the mega battle.

And to strengthen the party in Odisha, the Vice President of Congress party Rahul Gandhi had visited many times and attended party meetings. This time the Congress party seems get back to its original power, as once it was the ruling party in Odisha.

The new Congress chief Jayadeb Jena would have many duties to perform and most them could be organizing the party and making it much stronger to contest election on all the constituencies for the both General Elections and Assembly Elections.

Congress party unit of Odisha had also celebrated the victory of the party in Karnataka. The partymen would be planning for a mega success of their performance in the forthcoming elections, with the new chief of Odisha Congress.

The headline inflation plunged below 5 % in April 2013. According to government data released on Tuesday, the wholesale price index (WPI)-based inflation was recorded at 4.89 per cent in April. The inflation was at 5.69 per cent in the month of March.

The inflation is below five per cent, for the first time the figures were seen below five after November 2009. The moderation in the inflation could prompt the apex bank to cut further key interest rates.

In economics, inflation is referred to rising prices and fall in the value of money (in exchange).

Recently, the Reserve Bank of India had cut the key interest rates following moderation in the inflation. A further cut would help the stock markets to gain more confidence.

The equity market in India has been seen strong as the BSE Sensex was zoomed to the highest of 20,000 mark, after many choppy sessions.

The inflow of the fund into the stock market by the foreign institutional investors (FIIs) was high in the first week of the May 2013. For the same period, the FIIs had poured Rs. 26,000 crore rupees into the Indian equity market.

The easing inflation could be a bit of relief for the consumers as they witnessed a moderate cut in the petrol price by the government of India.

Considering all the above cases, it could be projected the Indian economy has been on the track gain from the economic slowdown.

However, some negative forces like the uncertain political activities, border tension with China, devaluation of rupees in the international forex market and low industrial growth rate could pose threat to Indian economy and may derail it from the path of recovery.

Elections are being held in many parts of the world, of late. Recently, the election was held in Pakistan, and Indian state of Karnataka. The most common thing about elections across the globe is the campaign.

Election campaign has been the core in the arena of elections. Whatever may be the predictions made by psephologists predict but the impact of the campaign was loud and clear on the election results.

The prime motto of election campaign is to win the election and for that leaders’ presence in public domain is inevitable.

From the Parliament elections to corporation elections in India, the election process involves high voltage drama packed campaign. And leaders do adopt very new and dynamic methods to reach voters.

The Gujarat elections held and the campaign strategy was full of use of modern available technology. Narendra Modi used the 3D feature to address, hanged live on Google + leaving the servers jam for hours.

In Pakistan, Imran Khan was injured but reached millions of his fans and voters through video conference.

In rural areas in India, the election fever is also influenced by the best election campaigns. The political leaders know how to use the public domain to reach their voters.

Often political leaders are seen on television shows, and their presence on the show gives them the advantage to being views by millions of voters.

Best election campaign could give victory. Leaders do like to have the best election campaign after all it matters to win the elections.

The people of Pakistan have given mandate to Nawaz Sharif, making him as the Prime Minister of Pakistan for the third time. The democratically elected government in Pakistan have greater role in shaping the relationship between India and Pakistan.

The recent incidents like, attack in JK – beheading Indian military, hanging of Kasab in Pune, death of Sarabjit Singh in Lahore and death of Pakistani in JK jail, were some of the recent developments that adverse to the Aman Ki Asha.

No doubt in that the relationship between India and Pakistan were good. And the both governments should try to restore peace. And the fact can’t de denied that the Army in Pakistan still have much influence on the government, and it may topple the government as happened in past.

If everything goes fine with the Pakistan newly elected government and Indian government, the peace restoration could begin with anytime between the two countries. The issues including cross border terrorism, JK, PoK and bi-lateral trade would at the major to focus for the government to discuss.

In past many talks between India and Pakistan failed resulting unrest along the border. However, the governments will aim to combat terrorism as duo nations have been facing the terrorism for long time.

Pakistan would try to combat the Taliban rule in the north, while India would try to combat the cross border terrorism.

India did not seek explanation to China over the incursion by the People’s Liberation Army in Ladakh during the visit of External Affairs Minister Salman Khurshid to China.

On Thursday, Khurshid discussed with his counterpart Wang Yi in China and expressed satisfaction over the bi-lateral talks between India and China.

Interestingly, Khurshid told media that“it is not clear why it happened.”

It is not clear that what was purpose behind fixing tents inside Indian border by the Chinese army and why they did withdraw from there.

India should not reach to any conclusion that peace restored between the two nations since army tents were withdrawn from India border, rather it should keep option open for further dialogues to avoid any further threat from China.

The recent verdict by voters in Karnatka have defeated the corruption in politics. BJP was ruling party there, which reduced to only 40 seats, where as Congress gained 121 seats out of 224 legislative assembly constituencies in Karnataka. Election was held for 223 seats on May 5, 2013.

Congress is the single largest party in the state, which will form the government in Karnataka after a gap of 9 years.

The BSY and Lingayat Community have deserted the BJP and brought it to minority in the sate. As expected the BJP has lost the only southern state having rule there. The core issue was the corruption, and BJP had to face the music.

If the same equation works in the next general elections, then Congress-led UPA might face the same, as the list of scam there with coalition government at centre.

The NaMo factor did not work there in Karnatka, and time for the party to streamline its further strategies for the next general elections in India.

In a significant development in the Foreign Direct Investment Arena, the government of India has given green signal to 17 foreign direct investment (FDI) proposals worth Rs.262.52 crore considering the recommendations of the Foreign Investment Promotion Board (FIPB) on Tuesday.

The move will boost the market sentiments in India, which has been green this month. The stock markets were advanced due the rate cut by the Reserve Bank of India (RBI) and right market conditions in May.

However, the political issues might affect the trading but the with the UPA government continuing its economic reforms to bring back the economy from the clutches of the slowdown, are certainly to gain the confidence of the investors both domestic and foreign investors.

According to media reports, the investments have been pouring into India, in the first week of May as the FIIs have pumped around Rs.26000 crores in Indian equity markets. That shows that the foreign investors have faith on the stock market and ultimately the economy is on the back to track of good growth rate.

The growth rate of five percent is however low, but in the conditions of the slowdown; the rate could be justified since in 2008 recession Indian economy had sustained the growth rate, whereas other economies in the world have tumbled to recession.

The more and more inflow of fund will give boost the liquidity in the market as well as in the economy.

The row of the 2G spectrum has been buzzing recently and one more issue of railway job scam came into limelight. The opposition party, BJP started demanding resignation of railway minister and law minister over the corruption charges.

The issue of corruption once again back into Indian politics with bang. This time the UPA government should tackle the charges and act against those guilty, in order to save the image of clean government.

Meanwhile, in 2012, the country has witnessed a major battle against corruption by the leader Anna Hazare. And in 2013, also Anna may start crusade against the tainted ministers and attack the government over the corruption charges.

The country is going to have major battle of election for the Parliament in 2014, and the issue of corruption is sure to change the political scenario in the India.

The opposition is in no mood to leave the issue without getting attention of people towards the corruption issue.

The core objective of advertising is the sale or earns major profit for company. When it comes to the interest of the economy, the advertising has indirect impact on the economy. Obviously, it has been helping the economy in form of multiple taxes, the company pay, customers pay, and traders pay as excise tax.

In a capitalist economy, the scope of advertising would be vast, where are in a mixed economy it could be less than that. But the word ‘globalization’ has somehow changed the meaning of the classifications of the economies.

Many countries in the world have free trade and protection – foreign trade policy, keeping the interest of their companies and industries. However, in the peak age of globalization, no economy could survive without entering into foreign trade tie-ups.

Coming back to the industries and companies, the advertising cost is the input for a cause that educates consumers and sales brand. In India, the television advertising is pegged at Rs.13,000 crore and its it’s huge amount if the whole GDP is taken into consideration.

A government welfare scheme is incurred around as much as amount to reach the people or bring them under the cover the policy. Companies do spend more and more on adversiting to reach vast customers, the input later could be turned into sales.

No doubt that a economy is being boosted by the companies and their advertisement. The arena of advertising is also helping in job creation, which is one the path of the sustainable development for economy.

The correlation of advertising industry is with many multiple industries like – entertainment industry, television industry, media and moreover it could a umbrella shape of service that provides to all and cover all.

Advertising agencies have been delivering the best services to their clients through their creativity, which the customers do like always. Just imagine, a television show without ads would be just boring and new advertisements do add glamour into the programme.

In order to make the companies more successful, consumers need to give their support to the advertisements, which would ultimately help the business and economy.

Once again the ugly face of Pakistan jail mets witnessed in terms of the death Indian prisoner - Sarabjit Singh, who was in Pakistan jail for last 23 years. Recently, he was attacked by inmates in the jail, and on Thursday he breathed his last.

After the hanging the terrorist, Kasab, it was the duty of the Pakistan jail authority to provide adequate security to the Indian prisoners in Pakistan. But seems hardly do that was implemented.

After the death of Sarabjit Singh in Pakistan, Indian government has re-issued advisory to all state governments to ensure proper security to 220 Pakistan prisoners in Indian jails.

The death of Indian prisoners could not be taken lightly, as it was not the failure of the security system in the Pakistan, but raised may questions over the moral.

This could be a biggest political game inside Pakistan for the election victory. And may be a trump card to play the game of politics in Pakistan.

What to expect from 'Aman Ki Asha', if Indian are subject to perish like animals in Pakistan. This was the case of the a civilian, and who know what has been happening with prison-of-war or Indian military in Pakistan jails.

Lok Sabha Speaker Meira Kumar rejected oppositions demand to remove PC Chacko, the Chairman of Joint Parliamentary Committee (JPC) on Thursday.

PC Chacko has recently presented a draft over the 2G telecom spectrum scam. In the report he had given clean chit to Prime Minister and Chidambaram, the finance minister.

The opposition had demanded the removal the the chairman of the JPC following his draft report giving clean chit to the Prime Minister and Finance Minister.

However, over the draft report, A Raja reportedly cleared that Prime Minister was the process of 2G spectrum allocation.

The petrol price has been slashed by around Rs.3 across India on Tuesday by the state-run retailers. This is the highest cut in the petrol price since 2008. Due to the fall in the crude price in the international markets, the price of petrol in India was down.

Since the deregulation of the petrol and diesel in India, the prices are being fluctuated with the international crude prices. The cut the petrol price would give some relief to the consumers, since they had paid high petrol price last year because there was steep rise in the petrol price.

The strengthening rupees in the currency market have helped to bring down the petrol price in India. The price of petrol in Bhubaneswar is at around Rs62.40 per litre after the fall in the petrol price.

Odisha bandh called by the ruling party Biju Janata Dal (BJD) effecting normal life in the state. However, the party has decided not to affect the essential services in the state while going for the bandh.

The strike was called opposing the central government and its apathetic look towards the state. In the morning, there were mixed reaction to the bandh in various parts in the state.

In the capital, Bhubaneswar, the city bus plying affected leaving commuters at much hassles. While it is reported that, a bit of relief for them as auto plying in the city was seen as routine.

What is the feature of Sino-Indian relations? Tension between China and India at peak following entry of China's military into Indian territory.

According to media reports, military for China entered into 10 km Ladhak region violating the border rules. However, the China on Thursday said that that the country did not break any rule along the border.

Amid the high tension between the duo Asian countries, the External Affairs Minister of India Salman Khurshid to visit China on May 9.

Khurshid would have dialogue with his counterparts in China over the border dispute and updates.

Considering the recent issues along the border, it could be considered that the high tension along the Indo-China border to weigh high on the Sino-Indian relationship.

While there has been a fair bit of criticism in the media, the government has chosen to take a stand & has stated that the threat perception to the RIL honcho is very real.

Congress spokesperson Manish Tewari was also quoted as saying that “security is given only after a threat perception assessment.”

Reliance Industries Ltd. chairman Mukesh Ambani had reportedly received death threats from the infamous terrorist group, Indian Mujahideen. This is the same organization that had carried out a numerous devastating terror attacks across the country including the recent Bengaluru and Hyderabad blasts. Sources reveal that the letter proclaiming the death threat was hand delivered at Mr. Ambani’s south Mumbai residence.

Government sources claim that the decision to provide the high profile security cover, given only to a select few, has been taken only after considerable due diligence and threat analysis by law enforcement agencies including inputs from the Intelligence Bureau which has strongly recommended round-the-clock security cover for Mr. Ambani.

As part of the enhanced security arrangement, the RIL chairman will now have armed commandos with escort vehicles accompanying him all the time.

ABP news quoted Union Home Minister, Sushilkumar Shinde, as saying that Mr. Ambani would be paying for the security cover. The industrialist’s existing security entourage isn’t fully equipped to handle the current threat level - both in terms of resource deployment as well as weaponry, further denting claims that the security cover is unjustified. Also, this should prevent it from becoming a burden on the state exchequer.

According to standard operating procedures, every law abiding citizen has the right to security cover should there be a direct threat to his or her life. Given the serious nature of the threat, the CRPF has been assigned the task of protecting Ambani.

This furore has sparked off a debate in some circles that important business leaders should be given security, given the fact that politicians, with their poor track record are guarded round the clock. Also, the question of placing an additional burden on the exchequer has to be viewed in a different light in the RIL chairman’s case – whose enterprise contributes to almost 3% of the country’s GDP.

The home ministry stated that Mukesh Ambani is a “national asset”. It is a fact that 15 lakh people depend on Reliance Industries for their livelihood. In this context, we should be reflecting on our process of government involvement in security provision for business denizens.
