The point is, Jim, that while many offers do offer flexitime, most offices don’t. So all Greg’s idea does it turn the morning rush from a one-hour problem into a two-hour one. And it does bugger-all to CO2 emissions.

I’ll submit that you may not be racist. Xenophobic, maybe. Why should it bother you if people immigrated from other parts of Europe to the UK? What does it matter? People immigrate all the time. I immigrated to the US. It strikes me as silly to demand to know the goings-on of some grand imaginary conspiracy to bring foreigners into the UK.

It was also a response to petitions calling for compulsory helmets for cyclists – something the motor industry supports incidentally, as they know it puts people off cycling by making it look dangerous and uncool. The image of drivers (particularly the sort who see cars as extensions of their egos – Jeremy Clarkson?!) wearing bicycle helmets is frankly hilarious.

Personally I think you should sign it and get all your friends to do so just so we can see MPs seriously discussing this – it’s got to be worth it just for the reactions of the press and motor industry…

I quickly picked up on its true message – she wants Labour to make sure the killer is safe on his release. Read it again and look at the words she’s capitalised: OPPOSITION PROTECT HIM IMMEDIATELY. Loud and clear.

If anyone has read the book Animal Farm or seen the film you will also observe how those in power change the law for their own purposes to steal money/ resources from the masses e.g. £60 for dropping a small paper bag, traffic and parking offences or in Animal Farm ( which i a very enlightening study on society and human behaviour) only pigs are allowed to sleep in beds. It is in the changing of God’s Law that error creeps in and the world goes wrong.

Only recently I heard that Europe and The West are refusing medication to treat AIDS in Uganda and South Africa unless they change the laws ( that is God’s Law) and make homosexuality legal which is ironic when homosexuality is a contributor to the AIDS epidemic. And you think I’m crazy????
