Pesquisa publicada na revista científica <em>Nature</em> após testes em laboratórios e após soltarem 300 mil mosquitos Aedes Aegypti adultos infectados com Wolbachia em duas áreas relativamente remotas da Austrália ao longo de um período de aproximadamente dez semanas.
