The heat is finally letting up. I can finally turn off the AC. I don't like having it on, I rather have all the windows open. Today I showing you the last two cards from my Jars of Love class. I have seen the New Holiday Catty, which I love!! There are stamps to go with my Jars of Love which I must have, well I already have them. Jars of Love is one of my favorite stamp sets. I did a class on just that stamp set. I will be showcasing the cards over the next couple of days, please let me know what you think.

I stamped on Vellum with stazon for the frosty looking mason jar.

I used silver sequins for the bubbles.

I did a Christmas in July class, which I will have each month now until November. We will make 12 cards, 4 designs, 3 of each.

Here are the first two we did:

This first one I used the Swirly Bird stamp set and matching framelits. The DSP is from Neutrals DSP Stack.

The second one I used the Oh, What Fun stamp set and the This Christmas DSP.

I love how the insides turned out just as much as the front of the cards.

I saw this card on Pinterest, but I did not save it so I not able to give credit to whoever created it first. I just loved the colors and going from memory what it looked like.

I used the Made with Love stamp set and DSP is from Playful Palette. It is hard to tell, I colored the bunny with the clear Wink of Stella to give it a little something.

Watermelon!

Who doesn't like watermelon? My granddaughter Keely loves watermelon. She was stamping with me, so we made this watermelon card.

We used the heart shaped sequins from the Metallic Sequins. The stamp set we used is Work of Art. Now we have to go to the store and buy some watermelon and she is hungry for some. Thanks for stopping by!

New In-Colors

I finally got a chance to play around with the NEW In-Colors which I love. My favorites are Flirty Flamingo and Dapper Denim. I created an In- Color class for my customers this month and it was a big hit. I got my inspiration for the class from Erica at Pink Buck a roo. I liked how she used the Confetti Celebration stamp. I had got the the stamp but was unsure if I could make a class around it.

Happy 4th of July! It has been a long couple of weeks with vacation and father in law passing away. In the last two weekends we have been to Wisconsin for a short vacation, then this weekend to Iowa for a memorial service for father in law. I will finally get to play with all the new stuff I have ordered. So be watching for those projects to being coming out. Here is today's card. I found the flag stamp at a store in Wisconsin on my vacation.

We are leaving today for a 5 day vacation in Wisconsin. We are staying at a friend's cabin on a lake. I am bring some Paper Pumpkin kits and the Watercolor Wishes kit to work on. The second class that I taught at my Summer Creative Retreat was a Stamp a Stack 16 cards, 4 designs, and 4 of each. I used the new Playful Palette DSP Stack alot on these cards.

Envelope Punch Board Class

Sorry for the absence, but my father in law passed away last Friday. He had been sick and my husband and daughter went to see him last week in Iowa before he passed.

But here are the the pictures I promised from the first of three classes that I taught at my Creative Retreat in July. My next Creative Retreat is September 24th.
