Project 365/81 Valentines Glossy Box

I received my Valentines Glossy Box today so i thought i'd share with you all what was in my box this month.

I love the packaging, the box is a hot vibrant pink, beautifully wrapped inside too. I'm a sucker for nice packaging plus the boxes make fabulous storage boxes.

I'm not too excited by my beauty box this month. Considering the hype to the build-up of this months box i was quite disappointed if i'm honest. I found it quite bland and not at all *Valentines*, apart from the box that is....

I'm looking forward to trying the Clarins samples, but pink eyeliner? That sooo isn't me.

I do love the concept of it the Glossy Box, a surprise package each month is always nice, so i will be carrying on with my subscription for the time being.

Love them or Loathe them, UGG’s are the ultimate winter warming footwear to keep your feet cosy, snugly and warm.

I bought my first pair of UGGs around 3-4 years ago when the UGG craze was at it's highest. I first spotted them in a magazine when Kate Moss and Sienna Miller were pictured wearing them out anf about and can remember clearly thinking I hadn’t ever seen anything like the footwear at all, nothing compared.

I personally love my UGG’s and definitely wouldn’t be without them. Great quality, they last ages and they’re the only footwear which keep my feet dry and snug. The inside of the boot is lined with Sheepskin which makes your feet feel extra warm, perfect for the colder weather and not to mention the comfortability of the boot.

You can wear your UGGs with or without socks, I prefer to wear a thin pair of cotton socks with mine but that's down to personal preference, i've gone barefoot in them once and the feeling was just the same, they didn't rub my feet either.

The UGGs at £175 are quite expensive, but definitely worth the money in my opinion, the ones I bought all those years back still look as new. My top tip would be to spray your UGGs with a water resistant spray before wear, this protects them from any water damage/snow etc.

It's true what they say that UGGs are more generously sized, therefore it's recommended you downsize a size, my advice would be to try your regular size and downsize a size before committing to buy and see what fits and feels best for you.

You can now buy UGGs in various colours and styles, for me i'll always be a classic kind of girl and the original ones are always the ones which appeal to me the most.

There are a lot of fake UGGs out there so just make sure and check beforehand that you're buying from a genuine stockist.

My UGGs are cosy, warm, the grip is fab and I definitely wouldn't be without them throughout the colder months, an investment worth having.

Hello Ladies, i hope you're all having a lovely week.

As anyone see the above advert for Before Meets after for the new Style Network Channel on Sky TV? It looks just like my kind of favourite weekly tv viewing!

For those of you who don't yet know, the programme is a New Year makeover show. It ranges from making over people beauty wise, fashion wise, fitness, house makeovers, weddings and following in the life of your favourite celebrities, the favourite foursome from sex and the city, Tia & Tamera the famous twins take on motherhood and marriage, supernanny every tear, tantrum along with every transformation....... i could go on but i shall stop there as the list is endless.

The show is varied and i'm sure will have something for each individuals personal tastes. I for one can't wait to watch, is anyone else?

Project 365/78 Urban Decay Naked 2 Palette

I bought the Urban Decay Naked 2 Palette last week so i thought i'd share a few pictures with you all.

I love, love, love the shades. Quite similar to the first palette yes but there is a noticeable difference.

I got lots of use out of my first palette so i know i'll get as much use out of this one too. The first Naked palette was £28 and this one is priced at £36, so £8 more expensive this time round.

The palette comes with a lipgloss which i'm yet to try and a eyeshadow brush, which i feel is a nice added extra touch. The palette also contains a larger mirror which i'm sure will come in handy, especially whilst on the move.

What are your thoughts on the palette?

I bought my first Mulberry Handbag yesterday and i got the East West Bayswater, which i love.

It's a classic bag which will hopefully last me throughout the years. All i need now is a lovely Mulberry Wallet to match, maybe also the Oak Bayswater and that will be my collection complete..... ;).

Hello Ladies, i hope you all had a fabulous New Years Eve, did you get upto much?

We stayed in a hotel for the night, so we went for a nice meal then onto a relaxed bar with a group of friends. I wore:

Project 365/70 GlossyBox December 2011

Hello everyone, i thought i'd share with you what i got in my December GlossyBox. This is my first Glossybox so i'm a little late in all the hype which first surrounded the release of the GlossyBox. In all honesty the differing of the mixed reviews did put me off a little but i had a £5 off voucher which i got from the Clothes Show Live so i decided to bite the bullet and give it a go.

The GlossyBox is normally priced at £10 plus £2.95 Postage & Packaging. I paid £7.95 including P&P so not too bad.

I LOVE the packaging, so, so, pretty and delivery was super speedy.

I was pretty impressed with what i got in my GlossyBox:

Project 365/66 Clothes Show Live Birmingham Part 1 Diet Coke and Bip Ling Catwalk

I thought i'd share with you a few pictures which i took from when i went to the Clothes Show Live in Birmingham on Sunday with my sister. Upon arriving we went straight to the Diet Coke and Bip Ling Catwalk, which i thoroughly enjoyed. Check out the below three Fashion Capital looks which Bip created:

Bip harnessed her dynamic, fun kitsch style to create the nine unique looks, which represent the lighter, flirty and fun side of fashion and bring Bip's dynamic and kitsch style to the runway. With handmade headpieces, fresh flowers and giant bows galore, the show bought star quality to the catwalk.

This was definitely one of my fave highlights of the day, beautiful clothes modelled beautifully by the girls, to find out more about bipling you can check out her blog here.

Project 365/65 OPI Rainbow Connection

Introducing OPI Rainbow Connection, how pretty is this polish? I bought it from ASOS for £10.50, perfect for the Christmas season. Above i wore it on it's on but it can also be used as a top coat.

I hope you're all having a lovely weekend. I went to the Bullring last night for a little shopping then i'm off to the Clothes Show Live tomorrow, very excited. I shall write a blog post on that later this week so keep your eyes peeled.

Project 365/64 Serenata Flowers

I won a competition to receive a bouquet of flowers from Serenta Flowers. I actually won the prize a few months back but for some reason Serenta's customer service team couldn't get through to me via e-mail. A few days back i received a e-mail from Markus from Serenata Flowers who explained the situation. As he had finally got in touch with me and it had been quite a while since i won the competition, he let me choose two bouquets of my choice, how nice eh.

I chose the Ocean Whisper bouquet, £29.99, which i gave to my mum. For me i chose the Beautiful Smile bouquet which was also £29.99.

The flowers are beautiful, wonderfully packaged, the delivery was super speedy and fantastic customer service, 10 out of 10.

Project 365/63 New Purse/Shopalike

Hello Ladies, i thought i'd share with you my new Belmondo Leather Studded Purse which was from the Shopalike website. The Purse retails at around £66. The purse is lovely, fantastic quality and the leather is so, so soft, a purse which i feel will last a while.

What i like most about the Shopalike website is that there are a range of brands all there in one place, therefore saving me time switching from site to site when i can view everything on just the one.

Their customer service was brilliant and delivery super speedy, i'll definitely be making future purchases from the site.

My most wanted item on the site at the moment is the Mulberry Tan Bayswater *swoon*.

Project 365/62 Look Nail Pop

I was in my local Superdrug store on Saturday when i came across the recently launched make-up range from Look Magazine.

I bought two 10ml Nail Polishes for £5 each. The one above is "Bling - Shade 4". I really like this shade, very glittery and the colour is beautiful, perfect for the upcoming season. My nails definitely seemed more glittery than they did in the above picture, it's hard to photograph glittery objects. Next time i'll apply a nail colour and then use this as a topcoat.

I'll definitely be trying more from the Look range.

Some of you may be wondering why i have tin foil wrapped around my nails in the last picture? Well, as the majority of you may know glittery nail polish is so, so difficult to remove. To make it easier i soak a cotton pad in nail removing polish, apply it directly onto the nail so that it's fully covered and then wrap tin foil around the pad. I leave this on for approximately 5-8 minutes and afterwards the polish is removed with one single swipe, very effective.

I bought a new Pandora bracelet with a heart charm and i love it! I bought one a few years back but the one with the lockable clasp, i didn't get much wear out of it back then as i preferred wearing my Links of London Sweetie bracelet, i have quite a few charms on that one now so the above will be perfect for work.

I adore the packaging, how cute is the ribbon. Does anyone else have a Pandora?

Sorry i haven't posted in a while, as the majority of you know i started my new job a few weeks back and it's been non-stop since so i'm a little stretched for time trying to fit everything in. I'm getting more into a routine now so i'll be back to posting a few times a week very soon.

Goes to Liz Earle Cleanse & Polish!!

I have used the Liz Earle Cleanse & Polish for quite a while now and i can honestly say that it's the best cleanser i've ever used. It's quick and simple to use, Step 1 Massaging 1 or 2 pumps of the cleanser onto dry skin over my face and neck, then Step 2 Rinse a muslin cloth in hand-hot water, wringing out before gently removing any dead skin cells. The cleanser removes every trace of make up and best of all leaves my skin feeling clean, refreshed and smooth. I can't rate this highly enough, definitely one of my favourite skincare products.

I love the shoe boots, so much infact that i bought a similar pair, the only difference is the other pair have a discreet flower attached to the side. I love them, BHS is not normally a place where i would shop for clothes/shoes as i always think that particular market is more directed to the older lady, but these are perfect for me.

Tomorrow is my first day at my new job, eek. A little nervous but excited to be starting a new challenge.

2) Models Own 3 in 1 Base Coat/Top Coat & Gloss, £5.00 from Boots.

3/4) Models Own Grey Day, NP013 Nail Polish, £5.00 from Boots.

5) Soap & Glory Products. I bought the products from Boots where they currently have a 3 for 2 offer on all Soap & Glory skincare products. It cost £17.11 for all three. I love Soap & Glory products and the three pictured above are definitely in my top five products from Soap & Glory.

6) Liz Earle Energising Body Lotion, £17.00 for a 150ml tube. I love this, it helps smooth, firm and tone your skin. My skin always feels fabulous once this as been applied.
