Is your stomach acting up? Maybe you ate the wrong things, maybe you are under stress, or maybe you have absolutely no idea why your stomach is feeling so lousy. It is hard to know what to eat without making things worse. The basic BRAT diet (bananas, rice, applesauce, and toast) is a good start. Here is a quick guide as to why the BRAT diet helps, as well as some other choices that are safe and soothing.

1. Bananas

Bland and easily digested, bananas are a good choice to settle an upset digestive system. The high level of potassium in bananas helps to replace electrolytes that may be lost by severe bouts of diarrhea. Bananas are also rich in pectin, a soluble fiber that helps to absorb liquid in the intestines and thus move stool along smoothly. Bananas also contain a good amount of inulin, another soluble fiber. Inulin is a prebiotic, a substance that promotes the growth of beneficial bacteria (probiotics) in the intestinal system.

2. White Rice and Mashed Potatoes

Talk about comfort food! Due to their low-fiber content, these starches are easily digested way up high in the GI tract. Eat your rice and potatoes plain; butter has a high fat content, which could be irritating to your system and contribute to intestinal cramping.

3. Applesauce

Like bananas, apples are a good source of pectin. However, the high fiber in raw apples makes them too rough for a dicey intestinal system. Cooking the apples makes them easier on your system to digest, thus allowing you to benefit from the pectin, sugar and other nutrients that lie within.

4. Yogurt

It is generally recommended that dairy products be avoided during acute diarrhea episodes. Yogurt is a major exception to this rule. Look for yogurt that contains live or active cultures, or more specifically Lactobacillus acidophilus and Bifidobacterium bifidum. These active cultures are probiotics and they appear to help to establish a healthier balance of bacteria in the digestive tract.

5. Steamed Chicken

Due to its bland nature, steamed white meat chicken is an easily digested source of protein, thus providing a fairly safe way to get some nutrients into your body. Butter and oils are very hard on a delicate system, so avoid deep-fried or sautéed preparations.

6. Blueberries

Reportedly, dried blueberries have a long history of use in Sweden as a treatment for diarrhea. Dr. Varro Tyler in his book, Herbs of Choice, recommends either chewing dried blueberries or making a tea by boiling crushed dried blueberries for about 10 minutes.
The helpfulness of blueberries for diarrhea appears to be due to the fact that they contain tannins, which act as an astringent, contracting tissue and reducing inflammation and secretion of liquids and mucus. Blueberries also contain substances called anthocyanosides, which have antibacterial properties, as well as being a good source of antioxidants. Lastly, blueberries are another source of the soluble fiber pectin.

7. Peppermint Tea

Okay, this is a drink, but talk about soothing! There is nothing like sipping a warm cup of tea for a feeling of comfort. Peppermint has a soothing effect on the gastrointestinal system. It is thought to calm and relax the muscles along the intestinal tract, thus reducing spasms. Peppermint also seems to be effective in reducing intestinal gas.

Mobile

1) Optimize your site speed because speed is critical for mobile pages. A mobile shopper will not wait 15 seconds like a standard site user. Streamline your mobile pages to around 50k in file size as a maximum where possible.

2) Navigation determines about 40-60% of the success of a standard website, but on mobile websites this figure increases to around 65-90%.

3) You should really only have one goal for a mobile page, and that should be either to get the user’s email address, or
their telephone number.

What Factors Make a Site Vulnerable to Google Panda Update?

Google like to keep these things secret but the two engineers at the heart of Panda, Matt Cutts and Amit Singhal, gave us some strong clues in an interview with Wired.

Cutts and Singhal revealed their process which I’ll summarize as:

• Conduct qualitative research (that’s speaking with individuals and not a big questionnaire) to find out which of a sample of sites they considered to be low quality and why.

• Use the results to define low quality sites with the factors that Google can measure. This gives Google a mathematical definition of low quality.

If we start here, we can think of a number of factors that Google might be able to measure to define low quality, including:

• A high % of duplicate content. This might apply to a page, a site or both. If it’s a site measure then that might contribute to each page’s evaluation.

• A low amount of original content on a page or site.

• A high % (or number) of pages with a low amount of original content.

• A high amount of inappropriate (they don’t match the search queries a page does well for) adverts, especially high on the page.

• Page content (and page title tag) not matching the search queries a page does well for.

• Unnatural language on a page including heavy-handed on-page SEO (‘over-optimization’ to use a common oxymoron). Eg unnatural overuse of a word on a page.

• High bounce rate on page or site.

• Low visit times on page or site.

• Low % of users returning to a site.

• Low clickthrough % from Google’s results pages (for page or site).

• High % of boilerplate content (the same on every page).

• Low or no quality inbound links to a page or site (by count or %).

• Low or no mentions or links to a page or site in social media and from other sites.

If any of these factors is relevant to Panda, it is unlikely that they will be so on their own.

Multiple factors will likley be required to get ‘Panda points’ (and points do not mean prizes in this game). Panda points will be added up. Cross a threshold (the Panda Line) and all the pages on your site seem to be affected. This includes quality original pages being ranked well below useless scraper sites that have stolen your content.

Google have said that “low quality content on part of a site can impact a site’s ranking as a whole.”

It's important to define the difference between an algo change and a penalty.

A penalty must be served if it has a time limit and lifted if it is to be removed.

An algo change exists and its results will continue until it is changed, your site changes (or your site gets whitelisted).

Panda is an algo change but no ordinary one. It's an algo change that works like a penalty because if your site crosses the Panda Line then the whole site is affected, quality pages too.

Panda is penalty by algo.

all of this effort, work and time into your creation, but you’re not

not a Beauty contest or Star Search. It’s going to require more work

Search Engine Submission.

One very important piece of the pie of SEO is website submission.
That is submitting your website to the major search engines “Google,
Yahoo, and MSN” Just don’t forget that these are the Big Boys when it
comes to search engines. When it comes to search engines, I know of over
125 of them. It’s just like handing out business cards. Would you be
better off leaving a card at the front desk of the Mall or is it better
to walk into each individual store and give them your card? The bottom
line is the more you present your business the more traffic you’re going
to get.

Google Submit.

Submitting to Google is a great start. Google is the King of the
internet world as of right now. If you can get your website ranked #1 on
Google, most likely this will follow on the other top search engines,
and if you’re not on the top you won’t be far behind. Nevertheless, just
like at the mall you want to get exposure at all of the search engines.
The more exposure the greater the traffic, the greater the traffic the

Your Code is Not Self Documenting

There is this movement that people should try to write
a self documenting code. Such code doesn’t require any
comments, because it is obvious what it does. While that
might be true, it’s not the whole truth.

Imagine the following code

  backup_database()
  backup_repositories()
  backup_emails()
  push_backups_to_s3()
end

At a first glance, it is obvious what the code does.
But what happens when you need to extend it? You actually
didn’t remove the complexity itself by writing such code, you
just moved it somewhere else.

Everyone who wants to work with the particular
code still has to go to the definition of each method and check
many, many things:

does it check parameters?
does it throw any exceptions?
does the implementation look like I expected?

if there are tests available, it’s also a good idea to look
at the tests and see how the method is supposed to be used.

Imagine working with a framework which didn’t have any documentation.
Every time you would try to do something, you would have
to look through the source code, understand it correctly
and figure out how it should work.

But we prefer to just look at some guide or docs instead, don’t we?
Then why don’t we write documentation for our own code?

It hurts

Yes, writing a lot of documentation can actually start to hurt you.
Not to mention that you’re going to have to maintain it, like you maintain
the tests you write (oh yes, you should be writing tests).

You absolutely have to keep the documentation updated, because when
you don’t, you can end up with stuff like

Being able to trust your documentation is very important,
because if people don’t trust it, why have should they have it at all?

But I don’t have the time for this

You don’t have the time to write one sentence to each method you
write? Do you really think that you’re that busy? How about the time
you save other people while they’re reading through your code?Keeping the documentation up to date also takes time, but is that
even comparable to the time you spend on the code itself? Almost all
programmers type fast, say 400+ characters per minute. So how long
does it take to write one two lines of simple text explaining your
code? 15 seconds maybe?

If you’re not able to explain what the code does in around two lines,
you probably have a design problem. I’m not saying that you should
never write more or less, it’s all about good judgment. But try to
put yourself in the feet of the person reading it. Would he be able
to use the code after reading your docs?

Quantitative Investing & the Marketplace

The past 30 years have seen a profound transformation in the world's financial markets fueled by the globalization of markets and the dramatic advances in computer and telecommunication technology. As a result, there has been a proliferation in the types and complexity of securities; witness the explosive growth in the derivative and asset-backed securities markets. Among the other features of the changing nature of the financial landscape is the flood of new money into the securities markets as a result of the growth in pension funds, 401(K)s, IRA's etc. and the movement of control of investment funds from the individual to the institutional money manager.

Paralleling the remarkable transformation of the financial markets has been the development of what is called by some the "new science of finance," an evolving interdisciplinary approach combining financial research, statistics and other mathematical disciplines, physics, computer science, biology, behavioral and cognitive science.

Some of the early quantitative methods included the successful identification by Yale mathematics professor Benoit Mandelbrot of patterns in cotton prices in the 1960s. From this and subsequent investigations, Mandelbrot developed the theory of fractals, which applies to such divergent phenomena as turbulence in liquids, the structure of plants, and the behavior of markets.

By the 1980s, there was mounting evidence that predictive systems could be built and successfully deployed:

    * Work by Mandelbrot and others demonstrated fractal patterns in financial markets. Patterns were found and exploited governing the volatility of foreign exchange markets. It was found, for example, that volatility was dependent in part on who was participating in the market at a given time. For instance, volatility dropped during the time that Asian traders went to lunch and increased when New York and London were both trading.

    * Robert Engle found that volatility was not random but that periods of high and low volatility last longer than the traditional random models had predicted. Engle discovered "clustered" models of volatility that had predictive value.

    * In a 1990 study, Andrew Lo and C.A. Mackinlay found that a positive return in weekly stock indices were positively correlated with positive returns during the following week.

    * In a 1991 study by the Santa Fe Institute, which put popular technical analysis techniques to a rigorous test using 90 years of data from the Dow Jones Index, it was found that both the moving average rule and trading-range break rule worked quite well.

These and other developments increased the interest in quantitative methods. Today, predictive financial models are being developed using a variety of techniques, including fuzzy logic, neural nets, genetic algorithms, Markov models, fractal methods, and clustering techniques. Neural nets have been used by Citibank, Credit Suisse, Advanced Investment Technology (owned by State Street Global Advisors), Nikko Securities, Normura Securities, Morgan Stanley, Bear Stearns, Shearson Lehman Hutton, and Fidelity Management & Research.

First Quadrant, which manages over 27 billion dollars in assets (including $2.2 billion in long-term strategies), is using genetic algorithms for research purposes in a variety of their financial services. The Renaissance Technologies hedge fund, run by mathematician James Simons, although a relatively small fund (about $2 billion), has reported a 20% annual return for the past ten years using all quant methods. Another fund run by the "Prediction Company," which uses nonlinear time series methods developed by former physicists from Los Alamos, has also had very positive results.

The biggest contemporary impact of quant methods is as a tool used in combination with human decision making. The International Association of Financial Engineers, the leading professional association for the growing field of financial engineering, conducted a study of the usage of quantitative techniques in financial firms. The survey was sent to 200 of the largest investment banks, broker/dealers, insurance companies, and other financial institutions around the world. The focus of the study was the importance of the role of quantitative techniques and the use of mathematics talent in implementing financial management techniques. Of the 50 respondents, 40% reported a heavy dependence on quantitative methods and 75% cited a moderate or higher dependence. 76% of the respondents noted that the proportion of quantitative professionals in their firm has increased over the past 15 years with 71% expecting that the proportion will continue to increase. Another indication of the increasing excitement and potential surrounding quantitative methods is that a large proportion of the doctorate graduates in theoretical physics from universities like Harvard and Stanford are going into financial research.

There are a number of trends indicating that quantitative methods will be of enormous importance in the years ahead:

    * The rapidly increasing availability of online financial information, which is necessary to train self-organizing methods such as genetic algorithms and neural nets, is growing very rapidly.

    * Patterns in financial trading data representing arbitrage opportunities are often too subtle for human analysts to detect, but very powerful statistical techniques (combined with application of significant computer processing) can detect these patterns and develop strategies for exploiting them.

    * Computational power is growing exponentially, which is another important ingredient for complexity theory methods. There is also growing availability of dedicated parallel devices for neural net connection calculations and genetic algorithms.

    * Advances in quantitative techniques are leveraged by the enormous size of the market, now estimated at over $20 trillion. According to Thomson Financial, of the $20.9 trillion of total market capitalization in 1997, $12 trillion was controlled by institutional money managers, and, in a recent publication, Instinet Corporation (a subsidiary of Reuters Group PLC) states that the value of all holdings in the U.S. "increased from $849.9 billion in 1969 to $14.6 trillion in 1998."

    * The four largest U.S. institutional investors: Fidelity ($695 billion under management), Barclays ($615 billion under management), Merrill Lynch ($501 billion under management) and State Street ($490 billion under management) account for $2.3 trillion or over 15% of total securities in the U.S. These firms are in highly competitive environments; their clients are able to track their performance and move their funds readily to the best performers. Being able to gain even a slight advantage by obtaining superior technology when leveraged by the large sums under management would have very significant value. Fidelity, in its own description of itself, states that, "this year alone, Fidelity will invest $500 million dollars in hardware, software, and systems that enable us not only to analyze and research virtually all the world's markets, but to provide customers with the most up-to-the-minute information they need to help them make sound financial decisions." As huge amounts of investment are at stake, we believe that these firms are prepared to move quickly to maintain and increase market share.

Examples of quant funds include the following: In 1997, D.E. Shaw & Co., using quantitative methods, accounted for up to 5% of the trading on the NYSE; as of mid-1998, the quant firm BNP/Cooper Neff Advisors accounts for 4 to 6 percent of the total on the NYSE and 6 to 10 percent of the volume of a number of European exchanges volume; First Quant's managed assets grew from $11 billion in 1997 to $27 billion in the final quarter of 1998; and, according to Andrew W. Lo "as much as 20% of hedge funds, which control some $295 billion, are quantitatively oriented."

Quant funds are making significant inroads into the institutional investor community. In a 1998 Wall Street Research report, Ashton Technology Group, Inc. states that quant funds (along with index funds) represent the fastest growing institutional investor groups. Industry observers estimate that quant funds control approximately 5% of the $20 trillion in the market, and are growing rapidly. Goldman Sachs was reported to have purchased a quant technology company for $600 million.

This early part of development lays the foundation for a healthy pregnancy and the birth of a healthy baby. Unfortunately, because these early weeks involve such a complex process, things can go wrong and ultimately end in a pregnancy loss. If a possible complication in early pregnancy is suspected, your health care provider will use a combination of blood tests and ultrasound tests to make a clear diagnosis. A blood test can be used to monitor hCG levels and progesterone levels. Ultrasounds can be used to visually see what development is taking place in the uterus and to measure the progress.

It is common to have many questions about what this early development truly involves and what is to be expected. We have gathered information from different sources in order to provide the best guidelines of what normal early fetal development looks like. However, just as every woman is different, every pregnancy develops differently. This information should be used as a general guide for healthy pregnancy development, although development may vary due to the mother’s health or a miscalculation of ovulation. Gestational age is the age of the pregnancy from the last normal menstrual period (LMP), and fetal
age is the actual age of the growing baby. Most references to pregnancy are usually in gestational age rather than fetal age development, but we have included both so that it is clear what stage development is at.

Week 1 & 2 Gestational Age - (Conception)

At this stage, the menstrual period has just ended and your body is getting ready for ovulation. For most women, ovulation takes place about 11 - 21 days from the first day of the last menstrual period. During intercourse, several hundred million sperm are released in the vagina. Sperm will travel through the cervix and into the fallopian tubes. When conception takes place, the sperm will penetrate an egg and create a single set of 46 chromosomes called a zygote - the basis for a new human being. The fertilized egg, called a morula, spends a couple of days traveling through the fallopian tube toward the uterus and dividing into cells (this dividing process is where many chromosomal abnormalities occur). The morula becomes a blastocyst and will eventually end up in the
uterus. Anywhere from day 6 - 12 after conception, the blastocyst will imbed into the uterine lining and begin the embryonic stage.

Weeks 3-4 - Gestational Age (Fetal Age 2 weeks)

Development
The earliest change that can be seen through a vaginal ultrasound at this time will be the “decidual reaction” which is the thickening of the endometrium. The endometrium lining thickens as the blastocyst burrows into it. This cannot always be detected by ultrasound—sometimes it may take a special eye or very good equipment to see this “reaction” in the endometrium lining.

*A key fact to remember when using ultrasounds is that a transvaginal ultrasound can detect development in the uterus about a week earlier than a transabdominal ultrasound.

Hormones
hCG: Once implantation occurs,the pregnancy hormone Human Chorionic Gonadotropin (hCG) will develop and begin to rise. This hormone will signal that you are pregnant on a pregnancy test. hCG can be detected through two different types of blood tests or through a urine test. A quantitative blood test measures the exact amount of hCG in the blood, and a qualitative hCG blood test gives a simple yes or no answer to whether you are pregnant or not.

Doctors will often use the quantitative test if they are closely monitoring the development of a pregnancy. After implantation occurs, the hormone will begin to rise and should increase every 48-72 hours for the next several weeks.

Progesterone: The follicle from which the egg was released is called the corpus luteum. It will release progesterone that helps thicken and prepare the uterine lining for implantation. The corpus luteum will produce progesterone for about 12-16 days (the luteal phase of your cycle.) When the egg is fertilized, the corpus luteum will continue to produce progesterone for the developing pregnancy until the placenta takes over around week 10. Progesterone is the hormone that helps maintain the pregnancy until birth. Sometimes, the failure of the corpus luteum to adequately support the pregnancy with progesterone can result in an early pregnancy loss. Progesterone inhibits immune responses, decreases prostaglandins, and prevents the onset of uterine contractions.

Week 5 - Gestational Age (Fetal age 3 weeks)

Development
The gestational sac is often the first thing that most transvaginal ultrasounds can detect at about 5 weeks. This is seen before a recognizable embryo can be seen. Within this week, at about week 5 ½ to the beginning of the 6th week, a yolk sac can be seen inside the gestational sac. The yolk sac will be the earliest source of nutrients for the developing fetus.

Hormones
Human chorionic gonadotropin (hCG) levels can have quite a bit of variance at this point. Anything from 18 - 7,340 mIU/ml is considered normal at 5 weeks. Once the levels have reached at least 2000, some type of development is expected to be seen in the uterus using high resolution vaginal ultrasound. If using a transabdominal ultrasound, some type of development should be seen when the hCG level has reached 3600 mIU/ml. Although development may be seen earlier, these levels provide a guide of when something is expected to be seen.

Progesterone levels also can have quite a variance at this stage of pregnancy. They can range from 9-47ng/ml in the first trimester, with an average of 12-20ng/ml in the first 5-6 weeks of pregnancy.

With both hCG levels and progesterone levels, it is not the single value that can predict a healthy pregnancy outcome. It is more important to evaluate two different values to see if the numbers are increasing. Levels of hCG should be increasing by at least 60 % every 2-3 days, but ideally doubling every 48-72 hours. Progesterone levels rise much differently than hCG levels, with an average of 1-3ng/ml every couple days until they reach their peak for that trimester. In situations when there is a concern of an ectopic pregnancy or miscarriage, hCG levels will often start out normal, but will not show a significant increase or will stop rising all together, and progesterone levels will be low from the beginning.

Week 6 - Gestational Age (Fetal age 4 weeks)

5 ½ to 6 ½ weeks is usually a very good time to detect either a fetal pole or even a fetal heart beat by vaginal ultrasound. The fetal pole is the first visible sign of a developing embryo. This pole structure actually has some curve to it with the embryo’s head at one end and what looks like a tail at the other end. The fetal pole now allows for crown to rump measurements (CRL) to be taken, so that pregnancy dating can be a bit more accurate. The fetal pole
may be seen at a crown-rump length (CRL) of 2-4mm, and the heartbeat may be seen as a regular flutter when the CRL has reached 5mm.

If a vaginal ultrasound is done and no fetal pole or cardiac activity is seen, another ultrasound scan should be done in 3-7 days. Due to the fact that pregnancy dating can be wrong, it would be much too early at this point to make a clear diagnosis on the outcome of the pregnancy.

Week 7 - Gestational Age (Fetal Age 5 weeks)

Generally from 6 ½ -7 weeks is the time when a heartbeat can be detected and viability can be assessed. A normal heartbeat at 6-7 weeks would be 90-110 beats per minute. The presence of an embryonic heartbeat is an assuring sign of the health of the pregnancy. Once a heartbeat is detected, the chance of the pregnancy continuing ranges from 70-90% dependent on what type of ultrasound is used. If the embryo is less than 5mm CRL, it is possible for it to be healthy without showing a heartbeat, though a follow up scan in 5-7 days should show cardiac activity.

If your doctor is concerned about miscarriage, blighted ovum, or ectopic pregnancy, the gestational sac and fetal pole (if visible) will be measured to determine what type of development should be seen. The guideline is that if the gestational sac measures >16-18mm with no fetal pole or the fetal pole measures 5mm with no heartbeat (by vaginal ultrasound), then a diagnosis of miscarriage or blighted ovum is made. If the fetal pole is too small to take an accurate measurement, then a repeat scan should be done in 3-5 days. If there is absence of a fetal pole, then further testing should be done to rule out the possibility of an ectopic pregnancy.

Week 8 & 9 - Gestational Age (Fetal Age 6-7 weeks)

By this point in the pregnancy, everything that is present in an adult human is present in the developing embryo. The embryo has reached the end of the embryonic stage and now enters the fetal stage. A strong fetal heartbeat should be detectable by ultrasound, with a heartbeat of 140-170 bpm by the 9th week. If a strong heartbeat is not detected at this point, another ultrasound scan may be done to verify the viability of the fetus. If a pregnancy has been diagnosed as non-viable, most physicians will give the choice of waiting to see if the body will miscarry naturally (pending no other health issues) or to have a Dilation & Curettage (D&C) procedure. About 50% of women do not undergo a D&C procedure when an early pregnancy loss has occurred.

Hormones
The hCG levels will peak at about 8-12 weeks of pregnancy and then will decline, remaining at lower levels throughout the remainder of the pregnancy. If the levels are questionable, an ultrasound scan should be used to diagnose the pregnancy outcome. Ultrasound findings are much more accurate at diagnosing pregnancy viability after 5-6 weeks gestation than hCG levels are.

When is the Forex Market Open?

Though the forex market is open 24 hours a day, there are specific times when the market is faster moving, and it's easier to make money. There are three main time zones for trading New York, London and Tokyo. Two sessions are usually always overlapping. In terms of Eastern Standard Time, New York is open from 9am to 5 pm, London is open from 3 am to 12 pm, and Tokyo is open from 7pm to 4 am. So, naturally, the busiest times in the market are from 3 to 4am, and then from 8am to 12 pm, because two markets are overlapping. And, since London overlaps with both Tokyo and New York at some point, it usually has the busiest session.

What is the Best Time to Trade?

The middle of the week is also usually the busiest time in terms of trading. Tuesday and Wednesday shows much more movement and activity than the beginning or end of the week. Friday is generally the slowest day, when things calm down as soon as the London session closes. Sundays and Holidays are generally dead as well, and it's unadvised to do lots of trading then.

Most Watched Economic Releases In the Forex Market

The most popular economic indicators in the forex market have the ability to cause swings of several hundred pips in either direction if they come out at numbers that are different than what is expected. This is what makes trading during news an exciting and popular, albeit risky strategy.

For most, these releases come out at 8:30am ET (1:30pm GMT) although members of the press have it at 8:00am ET under security lockdown.

1. The Jobs Report aka Non-Farm Payrolls aka NFP

Published on the first Friday of each month with the data from the previous month, it is the single most important statistic on the health of the US economy. To keep up with population growth we need to add 125,000 jobs a month to keep, so if the numbers come in under that, the news is often treated as bad news. The market often prices in estimations before the number is released so traders often look for huge swings from what it is expected as well as major revisions of the previous month.

Publish date: First Friday of every month at 8:30 am
Revisions: Previous two months are revised which can be a major market mover. The NFP benchmark changes every 10 years
Reporting Agency: Bureau of Labor Statistics, Department of Labor (U.S.)

2. CPI aka Consumer Price Index

Measures the change in the value of a group of goods and services against the value of the US dollar. CPI is broken up into two main categories the core-CPI and non-core CPI. Core CPI, which is more watched than non-core CPI excludes food and fuel prices as they can vary dramatically from month to month.

Inflation is incredibly important for the forex markets for several reasons. Most fundamentally, it is the cost of holding US dollars. If anyone holds US dollars for a year and intends to spend that money on goods and services within the US, and the CPI showed an inflation rate of 4%, then they effectively have lost 4% of the value of their dollar holdings. It is a lagging indicator, but is one of the most important for the forex markets.

Publish date: Monthly around the 20th, for the previous month's data

3 . Consumer Confidence Index aka CCI

CCI is published once a month and for the most part, a leading indicator. It is huge survey of roughly 5,000 American consumers that the Fed uses it to gauge where the economy is headed. Since consumer spending makes 50% of most economies, and roughly two-thirds of the American economy, it is a major indicator.

Revisions: Only minor, not really market moving

4. Gross Domestic Product aka GDP

The GDP numbers are released in three phases. It is a lagging statistic. First the advance numbers come out, then the preliminary numbers, and thirdly, the final numbers. The advance number comes out on the last day of each quarter. GDP growth rates are, for the most part, the rate that the economy has been growing.

The bigger the number, the bigger the better for the US dollar. That being said, like the jobs report, market reaction is usually based on how the numbers stack up against the predictions.

Formula:
C = private consumption
I = private investment
G = government expenditure
IM = imports of goods and services

GDP = C + I + G + (EX - IM)

5. Trade Balances

The government publishes numbers concerning the trade balances with most every country. They are lagging indicators. In the classical version of currency markets, this would be the only thing that changes the value of currencies. The more a country exports, the more demand there is for its currency. The more it imports from a country, the more demand there is for that country's currency.

Notice all of these statistics are US data. Other currency zones have their own corollary data that often is quite important to individual currency pairs. However, it is almost always only the US data that affects every all of the majors.

6. Rate FOMC

Eight times per year the US Federal Open Market Committee or FOMC for short meets to discuss US monetary policy. Here they set the borrowing rate in an attempt to affect price levels to help maintain economic growth and keep inflation within acceptable levels.

A rise interest rates typically is seen as good for the US dollar where a drop in interest rates is typically seen as negative for the USD.

How Non Farm Payrolls (NFP) News Affects Forex Market

Introduction to Non-Farm Payrolls

A classic example how how the forex market is moved can be found in the non-farm payroll (NFP) numbers published each month by the US government. The NFP number is a seasonally-adjusted estimate of the number of non-farm jobs that were added (or lost) during the previous month. They are more reliable than the weekly jobs numbers for a variety of technical reasons that aren't important to us here. There are several other ways of estimating changes in employment levels, but the monthly NFP numbers are seen as by far the most reliable.

Deciphering the Numbers

An increase in jobs suggests the economy is growing, which means that, all things being equal, there will be more demand for dollars. Investors, for instance, who were thinking of buying US assets will feel more comfortable doing so. The NFP will usually show an increase in jobs. It is estimated that the economy needs to create about 125,000 new jobs a month in order to keep pace with population growth and immigration. So, even though it may seem like a good thing the economy produced, say, 85,000 new jobs last month, it is entirely possible that that result will actually push the unemployment level up .1%.

Because the NFP numbers are watched so closely, they take on a disproportionate influence. This is an important concept to keep in mind. If no one was watching, slight departures in the report from what was predicted would have relatively little effect on the economy, and thus on the forex markets. However, the numbers are read by forex traders like a diviner reads tea leaves to predict the future.

So, if the numbers come in higher than predicted, everyone knows that people are going to be scrambling to buy dollars. Let's say it was expected the NFP numbers were expected to be +200,000. In the days leading up to the release of the report, the markets will have priced in something close to that expected change. But then the numbers come in at +350,000 – anything above 300,000 is seen as truly strong growth. At that point, the traders that had already bought US dollars will make a whole lot of money, as everyone else rushes to catch up.
Because the US economy is so important to global economic health, big changes in the NFP are often looked upon as a harbinger for the rest of the world's economy. If the numbers are really bad, for instance, investors from all over the world may retreat to gold or other commodities that provide safe havens in times of turmoil.

I am a golden member and have been for half a year.

Not only do you find you cant rent referrals once golden except through the 'queue' which is surprise surprise the same as 'standards' price.

You WILL see that all your referrals stop clicking after a week if that, they will also drop to BELOW 1 click per day, usually .7 so you are STILL losing money even as a golden member.

Think it pays? it does, but you have to put that money BACK IN if you want to keep going, they charge a FEE for letting referrals expire, you can actually lose MORE than the investment you put in.

I got banned on the forum for asking why referrals dropped suddenly, no excuses.

People I BEG OF YOU dont put ANY money in Neobux, dont listen to the idiots who are claiming to be makign loads of money. THEY ARENT, if you look at there stats they are earning less than they put in. But they never tell you that.

They may have earned/received $200 but they invested $400.

Please don't make the mistake i made and invest money in this scam, i should have known better but i was blinded my making money easily. It is anything but that i assure you.

1. Neobux Background

Before we discuss the Neobux strategy, let us briefly describe what Neobux really is. Neobux is an innovative PTC (Paid to Click) site, and this is not the PTC site you used to know. Neobux for sure is the innovation in PTC that you can actually make some money. You get paid by clicking on advertisers' Ads, typically $0.01 per Click. It doesn't sound like a lot, but if you employ a good strategy, particularly with the magic of "Rent Referral", you will be in an auto-pilot state collecting money 24/7. You can easily make up to $9,000 per year extra money with Neobux.

And because rent-a-ref is such a unique and important feature, most of Neobux strategies are essentially related to how you deal with referrals renting.

2. Neobux Strategy for Standard Member

If you are good at convincing people to join Neobux under your name, you can enjoy some nice earning in Neobux as a standard member. Otherwise, it is very hard for standard members to make real meaningful money. "How about renting referrals?" You may ask. Sorry to tell you, it is not profitable to rent referrals as a standard member. You have to keep your AVG (average clicks per day per ref) above 2.0 to make a profit. Otherwise, you could probably even lose money. Why? The reason is simple, you only get 50% earning from your referrals.

For the purpose of discussion, let us assume you paid $30 for 100 referrals, so each referral costs you $3 per month. The referral has to click 60 ads (2 clicks per day) just for you to break even.

Is it possible to rent hard-working referrals to keep AVG above 2, 3, or 4? Yes, it is possible, only if you are very lucky and rent only a few referrals. If you try to rent more than 50 referrals, then statistics rules, that is, an AVG of 1.5 to 2.0. Please read my other post titled "AVG drop - can I still earn money in Neobux?"

My recommendation is, don't even try to rent a large number of referrals if you are a standard member. However, this is the tricky part, you probably need to rent a certain number of referrals (200 -300) before you upgrate to Gold membership soon because it is easier to rent as a standard member than a gold member.

3. Neobux Strategy for Gold Member

Gold member, on the other hand, requires lower averge number of clicks (AVG) from referrals to break even. So if the AVG is above 1.0, you are basically in profit already. Lot of people may have written about Neobox on internet. Some showed their payment proof, some showed the basics of Neobox, and very few explained the details how they made money with Neobox, particulaily using the referral renting feature. What I am going to show you is the step by step implementation of a good and scientific sound Neobux Strategy. In the following weeks, you repeat the same thing adding 100 referrals every week. You can reinvest the earning to rent referrals. Of course, you need to spend 10-20 minutes a day to click a few Ads, otherwise the earnings from referrals will not be credited to your account. A piece of cake. You can refer to the table and figure above for the earning and cost for each weeks. Please also note that you will need around $150 initial investment to get started to accelerate the earning.

Week 20 - By now, you should have reached the 2000 referrals limit by reinvesting what you have earned to rent more referrals every week.

Week 20 Earning = 2000*1.5*7*0.01 (Refs clicks) + 10*7*0.01 (Self Clicks) =$210.7

From this point on, the earning and cost will be stablized, because you have reached the 2000 rented referrals limit. Since you can't buy new referrals any more, your cost will be only for referral renewal and recyclcing, which is $112.5 (rent renewal) +$16 (recycling)= $128.5. Your earning will still be $210.7 per week (same as week 20). Therefore, your weekly profit becomes $210.7 - $128.5 = $82.2 per week, or $356 per month! That doesn't sound too bad, right?

It gets harder and harder these days to rent referrals because more and more people are fighting for referrals. It guaranttees that the rented referrals are delivered to you on time and on a accelerated rate, which is 200 rent referrals every 4 days, or approximately 300 referrals per week! Again, the assumptions are:

a. 1.5 average clicks per referral per day (AVG)
b. 25% referrals are renewed every week, or all 4,000 are renewed every month.
c. 10% referrals are recycled every week, or 40% of all referrals are recycled every month.
d. Autopay is turned on to get 10% discount on referral renewal.

If you want to want to try different assumptions, plug your numbers into the number equations above to get an idea. It is impossible for me to present all the scenarios in this article here.

Why would I want to use Ripple when I can use regular money?

Two reasons:

1. Ripple is more efficient, and therefore cheaper for payments than regular money.

2. Ripple is more community-oriented than regular money.

The explanation will involve delving into what regular money is and how banks actually work.

To understand why Ripple is more efficient than regular money, take into account that when we say "regular money", we're not talking about paper money, but rather bank account money, which accounts for over 95% of money out there. Banks charge fees to lend and take care of this money. Think of all the people who work directly and indirectly for the banking industry. Someone has to pay all these people's salaries, not to mention the profits that banks regularly rake in. Whether you are charged directly or not, you pay for bank fees because they are factored into the price of every item you purchase. How come Ripple doesn't need to charge fees? Read on:

When you have money in your bank account, you probably realize that the bank doesn't actual have a little bundle of paper money in their vault with your name on it. Instead, what they have is a little number in their computer with your name on it that tells them how much they owe you. You trust that if you should ask for a cash withdrawal, the bank will be able to come up with the money. A bank account is really the bank's IOU, or obligation to you. And if you think about it, paper money is just the government's obligation to you, redeemable as payment for taxes.

Since we trust that our banks will be able to issue us useful government obligations at any time, we are generally content pay one another by having them shuffle their obligations from one person's account to another, using cheques, or more recently, debit and credit cards. Often obligations must be shuffled behind the scenes to a different bank through a central bank, or through several banks in the case of international transfers. This shuffling is exactly what Ripple mimics, except instead of shuffling obligations only between banks, it shuffles them between anyone, including banks, if they wish to participate.

Banks take the money they get in deposits and lend it out. Actually, since most payments are made without ever withdrawing actual cash, and since most cash simply gets deposited right back in a bank anyways, they may lend out up to 10 times the amount of deposits they have. This is how most money gets created: banks simply bring it into being by adding to someone's account balance and calling it a loan - money is nothing but bank obligations, after all.

Banks owe many times what they have in cash, and yet stay solvent because every borrower promises to pay back the amount they have borrowed. When a loan is paid back, that bank obligation is fulfilled - in other words, that money is destroyed. To earn the money to pay back the loan, a borrower must perform some service of value to someone else who has money to spend. That is what gives money its value: borrowers want to take it in exchange for their services in order to pay back their loan. If a bank can't recover the money from a loan, the bank must deduct the unpaid amount from its profit or risk going bankrupt. Banking regulations ensure that banks follow a strict accounting code. The whole arrangement is a rather ingenius way of keeping score of who is doing their part in society, especially given that it was developed well before the advent of computers.

To ensure that it is profitable, then, a bank must only lend to people who are going to be able to reliably earn money and who can be trusted to pay back what they owe. So for a bank to lend you money, it must learn how you are going to earn money in the future, and how well you have fulfilled your obligations in the past. Often this is a time-consuming and labour-intensive process, which is one reason that banks employ so many people: The borrower-lender relationship is fundamentally a trust relationship, and forming a trust relationship takes time and energy.

Ripple is a financial system that recognizes existing trust relationships between human beings and works within that structure, instead imposing a structure by demanding that we all put in the effort to form trust relationships with institutions that we would otherwise have nothing to do with.

But more importantly, when a bank lends you money, it is making a value judgement, not only on you and whether your activities will be valuable, but on society at large and whether they will judge your activities as valuable. A bank is an institutional entity, and as such it can only value what it can measure: things like income, profit, rates of production, forecast growth, etc. It cannot value things that are truly important to human beings such as love, community, and relationship. Human beings working at banks might do the best they can, but ultimately the relationships between bank employees and bank clients are rarely very deep because they are formed solely for financial reasons. And bank employees can only exercise discretion within the tightly controlled framework of the bank's corporate regulations.

We have a system where nearly all economic activity depends on the presence of sufficient money to enable it. 95% of that money is created by banks for people or purposes that they deem valuable. Yet what banks value is at best a shadow of what we truly value as human beings. Is it any wonder that our economic lives are so out of balance? That what we feel we must do for money so rarely seems to be in harmony with what we truly want to do? That the more successful we become economically, the more the fabric of our communities seems to break down?

In Ripple, the points to keep track of who is contributing to society (which is all money is in the end) are created and accounted for by those who are closest to you, who share your values the most, and who are most familiar with your personal situation.

Money is a fantastic way that we have invented to organize cooperation among ourselves, and using it, we have been remarkably successful at exploiting natural resources to produce an abundance of material goods for our enjoyment. But as important as it is, there is more to life than the enjoyment of material goods. Technology makes it possible to adapt our economic systems to better reflect what we actually want out of life. Ripple is one of the many new systems that have become possible because of the internet.

So, by all means, continue using regular money. But give Ripple and other new systems a try where you can and see if new possibilities don't open up for you.

Covestor and VesTopia: Winners and Losers from Peer to Peer Investing

Two innovative startups are about to change the face of the financial industry. Today sees the launch of Covestor, and over the next few days we'll see the emergence of VesTopia. Here's how they work:
Anyone with a brokerage account can sign up for Covestor. After sign up, Covestor gathers data about your portfolio and trades in one of two ways. Either Covestor pulls data in real time via account aggregation service Yodlee, which interfaces with the big five online brokerages (Ameritrade, E*Trade, Scottrade, Fidelity and Schwab). Or, investors can manually upload trades to Covestor themselves. Reported trades are later verified by cross checking against the investor's brokerage statements.

Covestor begins to track your performance, and then ranks investors by performance. Visitors to the site can view investors by style, portfolio type and a range of performance statistics, including risk-adjusted performance (Sharpe Ratio). And once a visitor has found an investor with consistently great performance, the visitor can pay to "subscribe" to that investor's trades. Covestor shares the fees with the investor.

VesTopia is very similar: after an investor with an online brokerage account signs up, VesTopia directly pulls information about your portfolio and trades, using a desktop client that automatically scans the pages of the online brokerages' web sites. Like Covestor, it works with all five leading online brokerages. Visitors can pay to view investors' trades and portfolios, and VesTopia shares the fees with the investors.

The differences between Covestor and VesTopia are mainly in initial target investors and degrees of transparency. Covestor encourages everyone to sign up, allowing individuals with outstanding performance to bubble up to the top via Covestor's performance rankings. VesTopia, in contrast, will highlight a carefully vetted group of high performing investment professionals, though it plans to widen its service to individuals soon after. Covestor allows pseudonyms and anonymity, betting that performance is all that matters, not someone's name. VesTopia promotes finance professionals with real names and biographies. Covestor allows investors to mask the actual size of their porfolios by reporting only percentage allocations, whereas VesTopia also provides actual position sizes and the dollar size of portfolios.

Covestor and VesTopia are the eBay of money management. Just as eBay allowed anyone to become a store owner, these peer-to-peer investing sites allow anyone to make money from being a great stock picker. You no longer need to set up a hedge fund; just trade as you always would, and watch as the number of paying subscribers to your successful ideas grow.

Both services may even allow hedge funds to outsource research. If you're looking for an analyst to cover Chinese stocks, why not just subscribe to the stock picks of the top stock picker of Chinese stocks on Covestor or VesTopia?

Now, I'm certainly biased: I'm personally friendly with founders of both Covestor and VesTopia, I own a small stake in Covestor, and both companies are potential partners for Seeking Alpha. We held back from offering portfolio games or shared portfolios on Seeking Alpha because we saw real portfolios and real track records on the horizon. Who cares about stock picking competitions and socially-networked play portfolios when you can rank investors by their real trades with real money?

There are challenges. Covestor and VesTopia need to convince investors that there's no risk of online brokerage accounts being compromised. Both claim that they have that nailed, but perception and reality are different things.

Who benefits from the rise of peer-to-peer investing? This could be good news for the online brokerages, including Ameritrade (AMTD), E*Trade (ETFC) and Schwab (SCHW), because it raises the potential profit of having an online brokerage account.

Who might lose? In the long term, by facilitating the discovery of great stock pickers and providing a new economic model for them, Covestor and VesTopia may end up challenging mutual fund companies (which are already facing an onslaught from ETFs), such as Legg Mason (LM), Blackrock (BLK), and T. Rowe Price (TROW), and even hedge funds like Fortress Investment Group (FIG).

And full service brokers who offer investment advice, like Merrill Lynch (MER), Morgan Stanley (MS), Ameriprise Financial (AMP), and Citigroup's (C) Smith Barney, may now face increased competition.

A successful website link building strategy has shown to be a great long term way to get a flow of free targeted and qualified traffic to any website.

This can involve a few technical terms and the meaning of these can sometimes be unclear and maybe cause confusion and misinformation.

Lets look at the terms you need to have some understanding of:

1. Reciprocal Linking - This is the simple exchange of links between websites. A site agrees to place a link on one of its pages in exchange for a link from your site. It can be text or a banner/graphic.

2. Themed linking - This is sites similar in subject linking to each other. This includes the internal linking of the pages in your site using subject linking - the use of plain html text linking between pages, is preferred. Make it simple for Google and major engines to find all your pages, without having to work too hard.

3. Page Rank(PR) - This is Googles view of your site in a scale of 0-10. New domains take time to get PR and starts of at zero. The PR of a site that wants to exchange links with you needs to be considered.

4. One way linking - This is the formation of one way links (no suprize here!) using different methods that will be discussed in future articles.

5. 3 way linking - This is the formation of and understanding between 2 webmasters. Webmaster "A" -owns 2 sites (No.1 and No.2). He links to your site from No.1, and in turn asks you to link to site No. 2

6. A Link Farm - This is where your link is placed on many other sites, almost instantly. Normally a paid service, it is not in any theme and rarely results in any traffic. This is a misguided atempt to beat Google and the other major search engines. Not recommended!

7. Anchor Text - This is the html text displayed and used in the link to your site eg: "Click Here" -Normally a blue underlined link.

8. Site wide linking - This is where a webmaster agrees to place a link to your site on every page of his site - Sometimes can be a reciprocal arrangement.

9. Deep Linking - This is the linking to internal pages of a site, normally aimed at a specific keyword and the page is normally in the same theme: eg domain.com/Extra-Large-Cat-Clothes.htm

10. In Content Linking - This is using articles with specific subjects and linking from in those articles in the content, to your site or, in the form of a resource box at the end of the article. Can be a good form of one way linking.

11. Paid Text links - This is purchasing links on other sites for the sole purpose of influencing search engine ranking. Google has come out to disapprove of this and is encouraging webmasters to report any sites doing this.

12. Link exchange directory - A directory of web sites set up that all want to exchange links.

Useful information about emerging categories is often tough to come by. It's typically fragmented across a variety of views and experts. My search for useful information about paid crowdsourcing technology vendors has been no exception.

Several months ago, I published a list of crowdsourcing technology vendors. Within about a month, it had reached the number 1 position in natural search. It was a fairly rudimentary list, but apparently, it was the best current accumulation. For all those that have been searching for consolidated information for the on-demand workforce market, we've created two new sources for your consideration.

cares to admit it, I think it’s probably a fair statement to say if an
intelligent alien life form was to land on planet Earth, he would
almost certainly think that this wonderful invention we have called
“the internet” was created mostly as a vehicle for the trading of
pornography. Love it or leave it, there’s simply no denying it. It’s a
billion dollar business and it’s here to stay.

Given the widespread acceptance of it I’m quite surprised that
before now we the HYIP business has been slow to capitalize on it.
Who’d have thought the online investments industry was dominated by
such prudish admins, lol! But all that changes now with the creation of

As a member you need to request the payment in your member area.
Direct investors are getting paid automatically. Since LR had some API
problems we make every payment manually. This is more secure for our
members and for us. As I am not a machine and also my husband is only
human too a cashout request from your member area is normally paid
within 12 hours. On weekends up to 24 hours! As a member you can invest
using LibertyReserve, PerfectMoney or StrictPay. As a direct Investor you can invest using the same E-Currencies plus Pecunix.
We wanted to add Solid Trust Pay but at the moment we are not sure
about them. We may ad other payment options in the future but we will
let our members know when about this in time.

6. Tell us in as much detail as possible about the security features of XrateInvest.
Are you on a dedicated server? What measures have you taken to protect
the program from DDoS attacks? Who is your hosting provider and how
highly would you rate them as a service provider?

We are hosted on a DDOS and Hacker protected dedicated server.
Our hosting company is hushhosting and so far we had no problems at
all. I think our longest downtime was 4 hours in 2 months! For members
we are using a modified original licensed Neversay script. For direct
Investors we developed our own direct payment script. For extra
security we make a Database Backup every 12 hours and keep all investor
details on and offline.

7. What about the script? Who provides that and how do you rate it? Do you have spyware and anti-virus protection?

As I said we use a original licensed Neversay script provided
from Hushhosting. We never had problems with it and it is a very secure
script with no backdoors. We do use the latest spyware and anti-virus
protection from Kaspersky.

8. What advertising strategy are you using to further promote XrateInvest among potential new investors? Are you happy with the level of support offered by existing members?

So far we are very happy with the support from our members and
the feedback. Of course from time to time I get rude emails asking me
where to find nude pictures of me and my husband, others are
threatening us that we will end up in hell but I just delete such
comments or emails. 90% of emails are positive. In the next 2 weeks we
will start with a more aggressive marketing strategy to become more
known in the HYIP industry and to compete with the Top10!

9. What kind of customer support do you offer? What
is the best way they contact you if they have any issues with their
investments? Do you offer telephone support or Live Chat at this point?
What about investors who aren’t so good with English?

At this point we offer E-Mail support in English, German and
French. We also offer Ticket support for direct support on our site.
Recently we lunched our site for German speaking investors in German as
the number of German investors (also Austrian and Swiss Investors) was
increasing day by day.

You can also send as a fax in German, English or French. I removed the
Live chat from our site as it was not used and nor really needed. I may
introduce it again when the time is right. We do not offer Phone
support yet.

10. Maybe you could tell us more now about the outside business interests of XrateInvest? How are you investing members money? How can investors independently verify the truth of any of your claims?

My husband and me, formed this platform. We decided to start
this online investment platform this year (2009), well it was more me.
We are investing members money first in our own businesses Adult online
sites, online shops, cam girls sites and our new adult DVD adult film
production.

About 30% of the investors funds are invested in online adult
shops. 20% in our own Xrate adult shops and 10% in online adult shops
from other adult entrepreneurs. About 25% we invest in our newly formed
DVD, adult film production and just 5% in phone sex services (mostly in
Germany 0900 or 118.. numbers). We invest the biggest share of the
members money in adult content sites. About 50% of the investor funds
are invested in Cam Girl Sites and Adult Sites.

The investor can soon verify our claims if he is willing to take
part on an over 18 fax request verification process. Therefor we need
the members national ID or the Passport. This is for active members
only and we will give the member a 6 hour test tour for one of our
sites. If the member is scared of ID theft he can overwrite his
Passport No or/and his full name or implement a watermark. We will just
check the age and the country where the fax was send from. In some
countries members will also be able to verify their age using a 3rd
party (for example in Germany ueber18.de)

11. I have seen your claims that your hosting
provider (HushHosting) does not allow you to provide links to adult
orientated material, but I read their terms of service and only see
that they prohibit child pornography. So why no links to the online
shops? If that is really the business you are financing through your
HYIP, surely it only makes sense to promote that too?

Our site (XrateInvesr)
is hosted on a server in Malaysia. And they do not allow adult content
at all. If we are allowed to implement links or banners on our site
that will forward the user to adult content sites hosted in other
countries, then it’s still a question for me but I will try to find
out. When I first ordered other sites (not HYIP but adult content
sites) with HushHosting I got a refund because of that issue.

12. If you are not permitted to publish these links
yourself, then money-news-online has no such restrictions. Perhaps you
can provide me with the necessary information and the links that
investors will need to verify all of this?

Thats what our over 18 fax request verification process is
therefor. The fax has nothing to do with our hosted country and also
the 3rd party verification process will help. As soon as we set up
everything you, our members and the Money-News-Online readers will be
the first to know.

13. With so many good programs around now, what
would be the one thing you would say to investors who are still
undecided on which program to pick? What are the benefits of joining XrateInvest over any other program? What are the advantages to the investor?

I do not want to repeat what other admins like to say, but I
think I have to. We are real. I know, I think in the MNO Interview
history you never found a admin saying: “sorry, I am just sitting here
waiting for your funds to pay old investors with new funds…”

know what we are doing. And I think we are the first and only online

If you are still searching for ways on how to be successful with HYIP, search no more, I’m spending my bed time for this article for seekers like you. Yeah you, the one with some fund in e-gold account and don’t know where to invest it.

Most HYIP players, when engaging in any HYIP plans, believe that they can be rich in 4-5 months and later can be a millionaire in a year. The truth is, until now nobody can tell us how many millionaires are there that gain their wealth by investing $1000 initial deposit and get huge $1,000,000 from HYIP. Oh, you don’t want to be a millionaire, but looking for steady passive monthly income from HYIP. Rite.. we will see if I have a better offer now.

Don’t get me wrong. I’m not saying that nobody will get rich with HYIPs, some really will. Not only rich, very rich. The key point is, don’t be “most HYIP players”, because all of them will fail and end up loosing the money, but contrary be “some HYIP players” because they are the ones who will always win and earning money. Do you know anyone using nickname “Admin” in your last programs? These are the “some HYIP players” that I’m referring to. I mean, if you want to be rich, be an Admin, not the investors.

Is it that hard to be an Admin? How about those technical things? How about money generator programs that suppose to be the backbone to the HYIP? I will walk you through all of these, and it will be nuts once you get the real picture of it.

Step-by-step tutorial on how to be a wealthier HYIP player (Admin);

1. Getting Ready

Before you start thinking on the payplan, it is good to create a good market base first. Market base is where you will position your program and I will tell you how to do that successfully.

First, in any business deals, rapport or human relationship will play the biggest role at the early stage. You need to have good reputation; be known as someone with good personality to your potential investors. This mission is fairly easy via online forums or online chat program. You need to belong to some group of people, or in an online community. It is better to get along with invest-minded people and be really good to them.

Second, build your circle of friends. Ask your online buddies to a gathering party somewhere and buy them a drink. It is a small investment from you, don’t bother it, you will get bigger return soon. Smile, be smart and polite, then earn a little respect from them. Better yet, get close to community leaders or moderators because they are the ones who will bring you more potential investors.

Third, create your armies. These people are your defenders and they will protect you in difficult times should something goes wrong at some stages after this. But this a pre-emptive move, you need to have some loyal friends to expand your HYIP empire. Lone-ranger is the big NO-NO.

2. Plotting the plan

Have some half-serious discussions with loyal friends on how to make more money. Remember they are also invest-minded people, so the idea to make more money is more than welcome. Propose your plan in a dinner or luncheon and show them that you care by welcoming for their suggestion and ideas. Don’t get greedy yet, adjust the plans accordingly until a good solution is found.

Now it’s the time for a words-of-mouth advertisement. Remember, you want to reduce the cost right? The best advertisement, according to MLM experts, is via words-of-mouth. Let your loyal friends do the pre-sales tasks and promise them a good referal commission. This is very important! 4. Launching the HYIP

This is critical. Call your friends and let them choose their favourite number as their referal ID. A referal ID is the unique number used to identify which members are refering new members for commission purpose. This is very important so that they will feel something special with the number for example, the 777, 1000, or 8888 number will be good ones. This act as a psychological push so these friends feel like belonging to the program and most importantly will also promote and recommend it to more friends. That’s what we are looking for, rite?

5. Running the business

This is the fun part. You can see as the words of mouth spread, people start coming in depositing money for the plan. The magic formula is to maintan 80:20 ratio. 80% of your fund will be paid back to investors. Don’ exceed the 80% unless you want less money. For example, if you are offering 120% return in 12 days, then you need to be ready to payback the investors on the 12th day of your running business onwards. But at anytime, keep the 80:20 ratio.

Exmple;

Assume that for every 10 satisfied investors, 4 new investors will coming in.
Assume that every investor will deposit $15 (average, some will spedn more or less).

Day 1, 2 investors, total fund $30.00.
Day 2, 3 investors, total fund $42.00.
Day 3, 4 investors, total fund $58.80.
.
.
Day 11, 58 investors, total fund $867.76.
Day 12, 81 investors, total fund $1,214.87.
Day 13, 113 investors, total fund $1,700.82. (you need to pay 2 investors from day 1)
Day 14, 113 investors, total fund $1,700.82. (you need to pay 3 investors from day 2)
.
.
Day 30, 34,573 investors, total fund $518,602.12.

You need to be wise to maintain the 80:20 ratio. Some excuses needed in the process to delay payments while waiting for new fund, for example;
1. Problem with hosting provider.
2. Problem with DDOS and hackers.
3. Problem with your FOREX.
4. Problem with slow e-gold site.
5. Problem with stuff handling the payments.

And so on, just be creative in giving excuses. Remember your aim is to maintain 80:20 ratio and don’t let the investors down just yet.

At the end of the month, you will get a total deposit amount of $518,602.12. Looks good, but that’s not the real amount you have in hand since some payments have been done from Day 13 until now.

With easy calculation, 80% of it is $414,881.70 and the balance is $103,720.42. If you have been smart in the business and manage the magic ratio well, $103,720.42 is in your account now and it’s about time to prepare for the next step. For the record, using $414,881.70 amount, you have paid $345,734.75 (it’s $414,881.70/1.2) initial deposits, equivalent to 66% of the total deposit, meaning 66% of the investors has been paid.

6. How to deal with unpaid investors

A better HYIP owner should be able to know what to do with the rest 34% of the unpaid investors. A hit-and-run HYIP owner will never want to know what will happen to them, because the only interest to him is the balance $103,720.42. Grab it fast, do something else with the money, forget those unpaid investors. But wait, that sounds not really smart. This article is about successful HYIP owners, so you should be smarter than those badasses. Smartasses should be able to exploit the things and repeat it few more times for a bigger reward.

By this time, you will have some inconvenience in managing those unpaid investors. They will shout and demand for an instant action. But don’t worry too much, you are still not alone at this stage. This article comes complete with contigency plan.

First, you have your loyal friends who can give the best support all the time. Give them some info, make them feel like “ah..it’s the insider info and I’m the first to know!” sensation and they will go around and tell those unpaid investors with whatever news you feed them willingly. That’s the point of close relationship. Now you know what’s the need for free drinks and sweet talks?

Second, out of all investors, only 34% are not paid, the rest 66% are happy campers. It’s nearly double the size and these will be your new armies. It’s unbeleivable that these guys will fight for you in whatever manners. They will face the curse and defending your program. There will be a war between the paid and unpaid investors, but be rest assured everything will be fixed since it’s proven that the minority voices are never heard in a large crowd. This is smart, if you have a pencil rite now, jot it down somewhere on a piece of paper so you won’t miss this lesson.

7. Spread the news

You have few working employees, some loyal friends and a large crowd of satisfied investors.. now what?

The first thing to do is to handle the unpaid investors. Promise a clean refund and you are not going anywhere to run. Let them have a good faith that their money is in good hands of yours and they will get it back. The best thing to do is to assign at least two employees, or your loyal friends to answer complaints and manage the refund list. Why you need at least two people doing this? It’s our aim to delay everything and the more people giving updates, the more unmatched news will coming in from each of them. Time taken to restore and explain the unmatched news is another bonus for the delay.

Second, spread a rumors that a better program is coming. This new program will fix whatever flaws were there in the first program. This will be sweet. You have good employees and friends, a number of happy investors too. They will force a team and eagerly waiting for the second program. Pay them as soon as you have some profit from your main core money generator. It’s 100% yours, but you will want to clear you name for future business right? Don’t mind the duration taken for the refund, you will get over it after 1 or 2 years, depending on how good your money generator is. After that time, all the money is yours, and nobody is going to ask you to pay anything.

8. Clearing the things

We have learnt before on how to run the first program, and how exploit the truth and enter the second program. There are also methods on how to manage unsatisfied investors and how to secure your available fund in a favourite money generator. 5. Total available fund: $172,175.90.
6. Total unpaid deposit: $289,241.69.

It doesn’t matter how long you will pay off the $289,241.69, but assuming you are putting all $172,175.90 in a good and secure offshore investment about 3% per month, then you can settle 1.7% of the ‘interest-free debt’ every month. It’s about 5 years, afterall you are the master and you will decide how much you want to pay, not the ‘payees’. After 5 years, you will have a clean and full ownership of $172,175.90 in your offshore account, giving and average income of $5K/month, not bad for a few months of hard works!
