commissions will be paid on a monthly basis.

The waiting time to receive the money in our PayPal or AlertPay account varies according to our membership type:

7 business days to Premium members;
30 business days to Standard members.

This is the maximum time that may take, but the usual is to receive the money before that limits (never received later), but those who follow the official BuxP Twitter can track the dates on which payments are processed, knowing how long until its own.

Attention to anti-cheater email sent by PTR websites

Sending an anti-cheater email is one of the tactics used by PTR (Paid To Read) administrators, to detect and ban members who break the rules of the site by using programs that click on ads automatically (auto-clickers).

By clicking the link in that email, the member instead of earning will end up losing money, and gets is account registered for breaking the rules.

This type of mail is properly identified so that no honest member click it by mistake, but many people end up committing this error for distraction, or were not accustomed to find them, or because they are rushing to click!

It is to prevent this that I made this post to alert that Fishing4Mails, one of the PTR I recommend several times on the blog, today sent one of these emails with the title: "This email will take earnings from your account".

The sending of this email was a daily practice of Fishing4Mails administrator, but its been a while since the last time it was sent, however I hope that this warning come in time to alert distracted or rushed members!

Discounts announced in PalmBux for standard members

After the recent events related to PayPal, which led the UpBux to close, the PalmBux administrator felt the need to calm down its members through an announcement which reminds us that even though their site has also gone through great difficulties, they were overcome after much effort.

One of the examples given was the way the site resisted the recent freezing of their PayPal account, situation already resolved despite having agreed to return to audit again all members accounts when they request a payment.

GIFT FOR STANDARD MEMBERS

One of the surprises planned was announced, a 20% discount for all standard members that upgrade in the next 30 days and 10% discount for the first purchase of the 100 referrals package.

The rules for the application of the discount are as follows:

As soon as someone sign-up in PalmBux, he has 30 days to upgrade and save 20%;
this discount applies only to upgrade for 6 or more months;

The end of UpBux ?

Something happened that so many feared as soon as UpBux started having problems with PayPal, despite the efforts of r3x (the admin), who promptly sent all the documentation requested by the processor, despite many phone calls made to telephone support, the PayPal account that had 85% of UpBux money is still frozen, which lead the PTC to close for not having money to support themselves.

What precipitated this decision was the lack of answers that PayPal support has given about the situation, never willing to give a prevision of the date for the opening of the account, or ensuring that such could even happen.

The UpBux was establishing itself as one of the best bets in the world of PTC sites, which has boosted the confidence of many members who ended up investing in the site, and until today there were no complaints about late payments, so this situation ultimately affects many people causing them to lose confidence in PayPal, which claims to have acted in the name of its members safety!

On the other hand we all know that the Terms of Service from this processor are quite explicit and rigid, having been established to ensure the transparency of money exchanges between users and business associates, which leads us to fear that this problem might happen again if another PTC site can grow to levels that UpBux reached before the proper measures were taken as did Neobux, the only PTC which meets all the requirements to be associated with PayPal.

BUT IS THIS THE END OF UPBUX?

It's hard to believe that the administrators of this PTC now give up a project that was created to last long, especially since they announced that they were in contact with other processors like Neteller, but after losing the alleged 85% funds I think they have no other solution than start over from scratch, restarting all the privileges of members as the Golden packages, rented referrals or the balance.

But will this solution be accepted by members?

Does the admin have the willpower to take it?

Or will PayPal decide to accept the documents and return the account to admin?

For us, members, we can only wait or resign with this inglorious outcome!

The most active members in UpBux may have already noticed that the look of the site has undergone some changes recently, but it is not only the look that changed, some features have also been redesigned to facilitate its use.

TOOL TO CATEGORIZE REFERRALS
One of the enhanced features was the bar to color referrals (according to their average), which is now more accessible to members, leaving you the option to categorize each rented referral, distinguishing them according to their average of clicks.

Using the above image as example, all referrals with an average of less than 1.5 will be colored red, referrals with an average of clicks between 1.5 and 3.0 will be colored yellow, and the rest with an average above 3.0 will turn green.

It is not easy to trust all PT websites that are born every day, but lately we have seen the birth of several that come with the SSL security certificate demonstrating the ambition the administrator has for the project, and ensuring more security for those that sign-up.

HOW IT WORKS
The process that ensures the security of the site depends on a few steps that we, as members of the site, don't realize that are taking place:

1^st - The SSL certificate encrypts the more sensitive personal and financial information during online transactions;
2^nd - Each SSL certificate includes authenticated details of its owner;

By the time of the WordLinx 6th anniversary celebration major changes were revealed in the functioning of this PTC, that would increase members earnings.

These changes were planned to be implemented in stages by the admin, so I found it necessary to make a point of what has been done so far:

NEW CRITERIA FOR THE SELL OF REFERRALS
The criteria that define how referrals were being sold were adjusted, allowing us buying referrals regularly instead of once a month.

A limited number of referrals will be available regularly, and the exact time of opening of the sale will be announced in the WordLinx Twitter .

PalmBux PayPal account was blocked last week, and remains so to this day, making it impossible to process payments to members.

The reasons were explained by one of the administrators in this announcement:

Dear member,
we're having some problems with PayPal.
Someone (but not us) logged into that and tried to send money.
PayPal blocked it and now the account is frozen.
We just have to send them all papers from us again and it will be reopened - hopefully next week.
But don't worry - we will solve this, like we do everytime - and please do us a favour and don't open again complaints, if something is wrong just write a ticket - we're always here for you and we also extended our t.support team (just for you).
After we got our PayPal account back we give you a little surprise

On day 20 was made an appeal to members who want to help solve the situation quickly, by contacting PayPal (from this link), or you can use following text:

"Dear PayPal,
I'm a user of your payment system.
I ask you to open the account paypal@palmbux.com soon because
I work with them since several months, they are honest and give excellent support. I am really satisfied with that site but right now there are troubles with PayPal as payment processor.
So please open their account fast.

This situation is quite complicated to solve, and we are now dependent on the quick (or not) decision of PayPal, but remember that when the same happened 7 months back, everything was solved and the site continued until today!

While the anniversary date is still some months away, the celebrations have begun with the release of some changes on this PTC, they are:

I FINALLY managed to make the first cashout from the PTC enBuxto my PayPal account.

I say finally because since the official launch of the site (which for me could ~~should~~ have been postponed to the beginning of the year), the site has gone through immense difficulties like:

a huge DDoS attack that left the site offline and made the admin compensate all members by giving $0.04 to all Alpha, Regular and Silver members, and $0.09 for Golden;
difficulties during the change of servers, which increased the time that the site was unavailable;
problems for some members to cashout, including me;
a bug in the rented referrals that made some to be erased when someone tried to recycle;

But according to information released today by the admin, all problems were resolved and the site is finally operational at 100%.

enBux launched officially on the 24th of December

Due to the holiday season that we were, not many have noticed but enBux has been officially launched!

It was on December 24 (curiously on my birthday), and since then it is possible to click on the daily ads and earn money with this PTC.

We know now that enBux innovated in the presentation of the ads and became the first PTC where you can click, expect the timer to end and be credited, without leaving the same page (the ads page), thus making it easier to click and avoiding having to open new windows or tabs (depending on the browser) and then close.

The long awaited version 3 of PalmBux promised for months was only released yesterday, on December 22th of 2009.

Although in my opinion I find that the change was very big and made the site loose a bit of his image of a great PTC, this new version is the result of much effort on the part of administrators who tried (as soeren said) to make the site more visually beautiful.
