I've decided what I'm going to do for BAFAB this coming BAFAB Week. Here's the deal. I'm going hold a random drawing to give away a copy of Clare Dudman's new book, A Place of Meadows and Tall Trees--because she's an excellent writer and because I like her. It's a novel about the founding of a Welsh settlement in Patagonia, and if it's anything like her book One Day the Ice Will Reveal All Its Dead, then it will be magical.

I was going to say that the drawing will only be open to UK residents, because the book won't be available in the US or Canada until October, but I changed my mind. If a UK resident wins, you'll get the book right away, shipped to you from Amazon.co.uk. If the winner is in the US or Canada, I'll preorder it for you and you'll get it in a few months from Amazon.com or Amazon.ca. (Thus, UK, US, and Canadian residents only.)

To enter the drawing, go to this post on the-DEBlog and leave a comment anytime before the end of July 7th (Pacific time US) with your name and email address. Ideally, you could add the book to your Amazon want list and include the URL of your list your comment. If you're a winner, I'd go in and order it for you immediately, without having to wait for you to supply a shipping address.
