The youngest member of our sweet little family will be baptised soon. That is a good reason to celebrate life!! And of course we need to let everyone know so they will come to her party.. this is the design our daughter and I came up with. Many thanks to Stampin Connection , as this is where we got our idea from... I just love that about Stampin Up!, as demonstrators we share ideas with each other!

Happy Janurary and that means a couple of someones have birthdays in my family. This particular card went out to my oldest brother.. I like the Bold Bright Colors I used that match the DSP from the main cataglog..Its called BigTop... altho I do not have the corresponding stamp set I thought it went well for a birthday theme. This card was soo easy I decided we should make this at our Stamp Class at Church Monday evening!

Its hard to see but there is a tea cup in the center of the picture! I have a very special friend who isn't feeling well and she loves tea and tea cups so this is the perfect get well card for her.

I was invited to a cookie exchange.. but instead of me making cookies I was asked to create a card that the guests could easily make.. so this is what I came up with. It is a direct case of Dawn Oleshefski another Stampin Up demo.. I will try to add the link to her blog site. The cards were a big hit.. and oh so easy to do...

This is one of the cards we made at a workshop not to long ago,. We had a lot of fun making Christmas cards! Now that some of my computer issues seemed to be taken care of, I promise to post more often ! I took this card right from the Stampin Success Magazine that is free to all demos for Stampin Up! Just one of the many perks of being a demo for such a great company!

Tonight is our Monthy Susans Sparklers downline meeting.. we are doing a shoe box swap.. and this is mine. Very simple and fun.
I would love to make this card with you, just give me a call and I'd be happy to come to you and make this with you! The Tangerine square is 3x3 and the white square is 2x2. I used the smaller scallop circle and the 1.25 in circle punch for the greeting.

Hello everyone, sorry for the long delay in posts. My life has drastically changed and I am coping with those changes. For those of you who don't know, my husband of almost 34 years passed away in June. and miss him sooooo terribly much!
Stampin Up has always been a joy to me, and before he died he (my best friend, my Frog Prince,) , made me promise to not give up my stamping. Stamping has truely been a great form of stress relief for me.
These are the cards we will be making in Saturdays Stamp a stack. You will make 4 each of these 3 designs, for only 18.00. Let me know asap if you would like to join us. b4frog@wayn.org is my email. We did this at a recent workshop! I would like to thank Jen-Jen and Jen and Chris for all their help.. at the workshop that almost wasn't! I was called away on an emergency, and these great gals, all new to stamping took over! I showed them how to do the projects and then took off! So you see, even 'newbies" can stamp!
I left the image plain.. so the guests could color it themselves or leave it blank for the child in their life to color! I used green galore and appricot appeal cardstock, and whisper white of course. I used versamark for the background bears.... easy-peasy-lemon squeezie! Thanks again to my wonderful hostesses and helpers!

I wish my scanner was better, but the yellow you see here is really gable green chalk. I use glossy white card stock and ran it thru the emobossing folder, elegant bouquet. I used Pixie Pink textured card stock to layer my embossed piece on. I couldn't figure out how to get the chalk to stick to the glossy cardstock, so I used my versamark ink on a dauber and then used another dauber for each color of chalk. You will have to just believe me that it is much prettier in real life!

Our Granddaughter turned 1 year old ! Her party was Sat, and since her Mommy had a "monkey" theme, I knew that Fox and Friends from the mini was just what was needed. I made 34 of these little monkies today! I used Tall Tales designer series paper and of course my big shot with the movers and shapers die! It made cutting and folding a breeze,as I could cut up to 4 cards at one time, using the whisper white card stock. Truely a labor of Love!

I just love this chocolate bunny! He looks good enough to eat! This card is 3x6 and is mailable for the regular price and uses Stampin Up! 's open end enevelopes, small. I used barely banana 12x12 ( you get 4 cards from one sheet!!), the hugs notes stamped the dot dot stamp in so safron, wrapped brown satin ribbon around the card before adhering it to a 4.25 x 2.5 piece of chocolate chip cardstock. the designer paper is from the sweet pea paper pack, I stamped Happy Easter Well Scripted in chocolate chip on barely banana card stock and punched it out with the scalloped oval punch. It went together very easily, and I prepped for 20 tonight while helping hubby watch TV!! This is our make and take, as my hostess wanted an Easter themed party! Hubby noted that Brachs candy makes a chocolate bunny that looks very similar to this little fella! hmmmm .. Leave it to Ford to know all about candy!!

Does this layout look familar? It is from Julie Davison, whimsical butterfly collection! I needed a birthday card quick and in a hurry... these flowers were just begging to be used... so I changed the original to suit what I needed! I just love that all of stampin ups colors co-ordinate so well together! If you'd like some of these wonderful felt flowers, to add a little something to your projects... we need to get them soon! They will be going away April 30th!

Just give me some designer series paper, some cardstock, a stamp or two, ink and a few do-dads and I can make cards quick and easy.I am so in love with Stampin Up!'s corderoy buttons! I can show you how to make these paper flowers quick and easy! My scanner isn't very friendly when it comes cards with dept on them, so please forgive the blurr... call me to see it person!

We needed some "masculine" type cards at work, some for just thinking of you, and some for sympathy.. so this is the design I came up with. Very simple. Used watercolor paper and used versamark ink and pastels... it needed a little something... so I made more shimmer spray and lightly spritzed the card, and it gave it just the right look I was looking for. I made about 6 of these.. and I think I need to go make more. The stamps set is sillouettes of nature. The buttons are kraft corduroy and they are tied with linnen thread.

I am in love with the new mini catalog! My scanner isn't very good with the color.. this is supposed to be bermuda bay...and soft suede.. Its hard to see, but I made a shimmer mist and put it on the flower... It was so easy to do.. just some shimmer paint and alcohol in a fine mist spray bottle. Ihave been misting everything! I'll be posting some more masculine cards I needed to do for work.

UPCOMING CLASSES!

We will make this card organizer and 6 cards..(2 each of the 3 designs). The class is on Feb 20th, 2010 at 10 am. The cost of the class is $28.00 and the deadline to sign up is Feb 10th so we can order enough supplies ! This will be a fun class.
