This video and the comments that have been made in the article that appears here are truly representative of the way in which our Congress and President are working with one another.  This furthers our belief that revitalization of America does not and cannot depend on our government.  It can only be done with private equity and it must be led by entrepreneurs.

Many C4 clients know that several of us within our management structure have been senior managers in the oil industry in past years.

I had the good fortune of working with HE Sheikh Yamani back in the early 80’s as we explored the amount of oil available globally.

In this interview, His Excellency Sheikh Yamani does a great job of explaining how our “Futures Trading” is affecting the price of oil. Many of us have said for years that the system is wrong. It remains to be seen if the Obama Administration can exert any influence on the Casino mentality of our stock market.

What does the 4th of July mean to you?  Every 4th of July I’m reminded of how we came by the freedom we have.  As much as I enjoy being in England or even Australia, I wouldn’t want England to be “our” country.  Many men, women and children have died for the freedom that we all enjoy.  There were a number of members of our family that fought in the war for our independence.  However, as an international company, what does this mean to us and to the client’s we serve around the world?

Freedom.  Freedom to do business with government and people that have opposing views and cultures.  The freedom to accept the best from any country and apply it here in America and around the world. Freedom to travel.  Freedom to support or oppose popular opinion, globally.

We support the right of all people to be free.  We believe in the global village.  We believe that we have a social responsibility to help others learn from and enjoy our freedom.

Good bank, bad bank, too big to fail bank or just your bank. Whatever you think, there’s a movement to change the way in which we doing one of the most basic things we do as Americans, bank money. It may be time to rethink our approach. This video was as a direct result of Arianna Huffington and her friends discussing big banks, huge bonus checks and other unsavory banking practices.

Aren’t banks supposed to help people and in so doing, make a profit? Isn’t the banker supposed to be intimately involved with the community?

In 2010 C4 will be putting a banking program forward that will stimulate the economy and give more Americans a piece of America. We think you’ll like what we intend to offer America. All of America.
