(Eek! I managed to mess up the volume level in post-production when I first put this one out. Here’s the fixed version for your enjoyment.)

Time for another irregularly scheduled dose of the best remixes out there. This time the show is produced and assembled on my laptop, using different recording gear and software from the stuff I’m used to, so apologies in advance if it’s not up to standard, sound quality wise.

On the afternoon of March 4th 2007, veteran composer Richard Joseph passed away, after a short battle with lung cancer. I had the good fortune of meeting Richard at Back In Time London in 2002, and he left a lasting impression - although we only talked briefly I have fond memories of a man who despite his status as a legend was the most down-to-earth chap you’d ever come across. I had the good fortune of meeting Richard at Back In Time London in 2002, and he left a lasting impression - although we only talked briefly I have fond memories of a man who despite his status as a legend was the most down-to-earth chap you’d ever come across. Our thoughts go out to Richards friends and family. Join in as Makke and I pay tribute with a podcast entirely dedicated to the works of Richard Joseph, both the way he created the tunes himself, and the way other people interpreted his work. Download the MP3 here (26:14 minutes, 24,1 Mb) More information available on Remix64, EuroGamer.net, GamesIndustry.biz, and Wikipedia. Also be sure to check out the remixes of his tunes on Remix.Kwed.Org.
