I was crossing the street (on foot) at a green light just outside our flat last Friday, when a car takes a left turn behind me. Having seen it as I walked into the second part of the zebra crossing I figured that the driver and I had made eye contact. Sadly, it turned out that the only thing he’d been on the lookout for was other cars, so he rammed me.

Long story short: I’ve got a fractured fibula, and am now confined to the flat for the next 3-4 weeks.

D’oh! I completely forgot to mention my favorite tracks on the album: Gods, Nonterraqueous, Future Knight, Knuckle Buster, Lightforce and all of CD A. And that the “How to waste this day” track (which is my guilty pleasure on the album) was submitted to the Danish edition of the Eurovision Song Contest – sadly it didn’t qualify.

While I don’t care much for Formula 1 Simulator, Human Race or Toasty Buns, the biggest disappoint on the album is Ghosts’n Goblins. It starts off as an awesome version of the rendition the lads have been perfecting over the years – and then halfway in, out of nowhere the vocals kick in and completely spoil it for me.

I bought the new PPOT album before you even made mention of it on the show; I was moving into my new flat went back to their website craving some tunage and found there an entirely new album, so I picked it up off of iTunes.

I particularly like “man with the gun” and that song about there’s nobody to tell me what to do with this day…good stuff! Keep it up! Keep the Scene Alive!

Yes the news of Tramiel was a bit of a sad surprise. Still, that’s why we are here, spreading the commodore love. His legacy will live on.

My C64, VIC20 and myself are sad to hear about Tramiels passing – this was the first place I read about it, and I see that it’s all over Twitter this morning. But like you said, he had a good run – both at Commodore and at Atari.

I see you’re using WordPress for your site. If you go to Dashboard > Settings > Reading and put in a number higher than 10 where it says “Syndication feeds show the most recent”, people won’t be limited to accessing the last ten shows via your feed and/or iTunes. I’ve got mine set to 100. Which should last the next 5-10 years at my current release schedule.

this is incredible that I found your site – what you do is nearly vanished everywhere – you saved me days in positive waves this brings back. I just sit here, working in a 3d project for a customer and listened to music playlists geting older ond older, every hour that vanishes this evening (or night) – I just stopped in my favorite mod-files folder (nobody likes – only me) and opened up one really nice trance version of “the last v8″ – I just took a look at the nfo in the player to take (a fast look) at the creators website and must notice – this domain is darked as so many others meanwhile. So I started googeling and – hopped on your page. I´ve never been here, but man, I need to tell you – I love your podcast nice work you do and please keep on it – even if you update it twice a year what must be hell of a job – dont quit it. “You’re one of the last descendants of a dying race” (I took this from Wing Commander) but this fits most…

Solo is fine by me. Maybe you can get him to record some stuff for you or you could record a Skype call. But you can’t stop. You’ve unleashed the beast and it can’t be contained!

the episodes with Makke were fun, but the singe-host format was very good too – heck, it must have been good, otherwise you wouldn’t have managed to gather so many listeners even before Makke joined, right?

I can imagine that it’s harder to motivate yourself to produce shows on your own again, especially as you seem to have a lot of things to do yourself. So it would be very sad but also understandable if the podcast died. I really hope it won’t though, even if it’s only one or two shows per year!

Regardless how this will turn out, thanks a lot for your great work, both for the podcast and the site, which provided me with endless hours of joy.

Nonetheless, Makke has always balanced his activities among his various activites, and may, indeed, do a show in future. Just not regularly. You never know with Makke (:

And whatever happens, I will continue to listen to the podcast and enjoy it. No matter what frequency the episodes come out. Providing, of course, they remain on the twice per hour schedule agreed to prior.

Yes its bad news about Makke, but dont let this hold you back. As I tweeted, I bet loads of people would happily co host with you, even I would after a little more experience on my own!

Somebody new would take a little getting used to, build up a rapport with each other etc. you could even have a rotation of co hosts!

Either way you are great solo or with someone else
