Riverside County WIC (Women, Infants & Children) program is helping pregnant women, new mothers and young children eat healthy, stay well, and be active.  This program is funded by the U.S. Department of Agriculture and has collaborated with Riverside County Department of Public Health to assist families to grow and trive within their communities. 

There are 19 WIC service agencies located throughout Riverside County.  They are open Monday through Friday and evening and Saturday services are provided by scheduling an appointment.

Services offered include, but are not limited to . . .

• On-line educational trainings
• Receipes for healthy cooking
• Food checks for purchasing nutritious items
• Breastfeeding education and counseling services
• Resources and services provided within your community

Upland Foothill Kiwanis has collaborated with Cambridge College and the Arrowhead Association for the Education of Young Children to offer a full day conference in Rancho Cucamonga, CA!!

The conference presenter is Jenny Clark from Kansas who will help caregivers explore opportunities for enhanced themed lessons for young children based on her book “Learn to Move, Move to Learn (2004).
