  It looked a bit like the Old West in Albuquerque this past weekend as law-abiding Americans openly carried their legal firearms in public.

            Democrat Gov. Michelle Lujan Grisham placed a 30-day ban on all firearms (except law enforcement and licensed security officers) in Albuquerque. She called it a public health emergency. Both Republicans and Democrats are calling it a violation of their Second Amendment rights.

            Dozens of New Mexican gun owners showed up to peacefully protest the order, which is a blatant violation of the Second Amendment.

            “All we want to do is protect our families, our friends, our communities, I’ve gone on two combat tours with the Marine Corps and fought on the front lines. I’ve done 11 trips as an independent contractor,” one of the protestors said. “[Grisham] thinks she has the right to take away my freedom to protect my community, I don’t think so. This will not stand, we will not comply!”

            Interestingly, although police were in the area, they did not disperse the protestors or enforce the public health order. Could it be that they realized that if they did, they would be opening their departments up to legal problems?

            The National Association for Gun Rights has already filed suit against Grisham to fight the order. The plaintiffs cite the Supreme Court decision that found New York’s concealed carry law was unconstitutional. Even Washington, D.C., had its gun control laws overturned years ago.

            How do you know Grisham is fighting a losing battle? Liberal Democrats are speaking out against it. Democrat Rep. Ted Lieu of California and David Hogg, a gun control advocate and survivor of the Parkland High shooting, both criticized the public health order on X (formerly Twitter).

            “I support gun safety laws,” Lieu tweeted. “However, this order from the Governor of New Mexico violates the U.S. Constitution. No state in the union can suspend the federal Constitution. There is no such thing as a state public health emergency exception to the U.S. Constitution.”

            Hogg echoed the statement, writing, “I support gun safety but there is no such thing as a state public health emergency exception to the U.S. Constitution.” 

            Legal scholars have also pointed out the illegality of order, but Grisham apparently feels that she is above the U.S. Constitution.

            “There are literally too many people to arrest,” Grisham said during a press conference announcing the order. “If there’s an emergency, and I’ve declared an emergency for a temporary amount of time, I can invoke additional powers. No constitutional right, in my view, including my oath, is intended to be absolute.”

            She doesn’t feel she needs to honor her oath or obey the Constitution. This is something tyrants say. Grisham just laid out the case for her impeachment. The legislature should take action. If Grisham doesn’t feel obligated to honor this element of her oath of office, what’s to stop her from continuing to ignore other parts of it or extending her 30-day ban?

            Her attitude is the reason that Americans need to be armed and should resist her illegal actions.

       National Association for Gun Rights Sues Gov. Lujan Grisham Over Carry Ban

Albuquerque, NM – Today, the National Association for Gun Rights (NAGR) and Foster Haines (NAGR member and Albuquerque resident) filed a lawsuit against Governor Michelle Lujan Grisham and Secretary of Health Patrick Allen for Executive Order 2023-130 and a subsequent Public Health Emergency Order issued by the Secretary, which bans the public carry of firearms in Albuquerque for 30 days. 

Plaintiffs are asking for a Temporary Restraining Order and a repeal of the Order. 

NAGR argues the Order is unconstitutional on the merits of the Supreme Court’s ruling NYSRPA v. Bruen, which held New York’s ban on the public carry of firearms unconstitutional. Bruen also held that any gun regulation that does not fall into the text, history, and tradition of the Second Amendment is unconstitutional. 

“Gov. Luhan Grisham is throwing up a middle finger to the Constitution and the Supreme Court,” said Dudley Brown, President of the National Association for Gun Rights. “Her Executive Order is in blatant disregard for Bruen. She needs to be held accountable for stripping the God-given rights of millions away with the stroke of a pen.” 

Gov. Luhan Grisham declared a state of emergency over “gun violence” and used emergency powers to carry out the ban. 

“This is the very danger of runaway executives who believe they have unilateral authority to suspend the Constitution under the guise of an ‘emergency,’” continued Brown. “This is exactly what we warned about during COVID. It’s a tale as old as time, give emergency powers, lose fundamental rights. Google ‘Caesar’ if you want to know how that turns out.” 

The National Association for Gun Rights argues Gov. Lujan Grisham overstepped her Constitutional authority in issuing Executive Order 2023-130 and looks forward to its day in court.

Since Sinclair Lewis wrote “It Can’t Happen Here” in 1935, many authors have raised the question: Is Democracy so fragile that the U.S. could become an “ism” nation? Fortunately, all the writers have been wrong about the U.S. becoming a dystopian nation. They have been right, however, about Democracy being fragile. This article will examine the actions of the federal government, its spy, propaganda, and law enforcement machines (collectively “the Federal Syndicate”) against former President Trump and his supporters over the last few years. It asks the question – is the federal government run by stupid people doing stupid things, or are its leaders subverting the Constitution to control the government?

But for the political advantage to the Democrats, the events of January 6^th would have been defined as a riot, “a violent disturbance of the peace by a group of people.” Unfortunately, Democratic leadership deemed it an insurrection, an attempt by an organized group of people to defeat their government and take control of it. As part of its narrative, the federal government, which has a $944 billion annual military machine and describes its military as a fearsome and gargantuan beast, exhibits existential fear of destruction by the fact “several rioters had firearms and dozens more wielded knives, bats and other real makeshift weapons.” The Federal Syndicate’s reactions to the January 6^th riot are best characterized by the hilarious movie “The Mouse that Roared.”

The crowd so paralyzed the Speaker of the House, the D.C. mayor, and the Capitol Police that they could not respond to President Trump’s offer to send the National Guard. These political elites seemed confident the FBI infiltrators planted in the crowd to incite legal demonstrators to break the law would prove the truth of their insurrection narrative. Two thousand demonstrators entered the Capitol, and 1100 were arrested. Many were sent to D.C. Gitmo without their right to counsel or a speedy trial. The DOJ/FBI’s dragnet is the largest in the history of the U.S. DC Gitmo is similar to the Guantanamo military prison in Cuba, also referred to as Gitmo, but without the sunshine.

If January 6^th were a riot and not an insurrection, then the systematic actions by the Federal Syndicate would be what academics define as a self-coup d’état. It is a form of coup in which the nation’s power structure comes to power legally but seeks to stay in power through illegal means.

Did The Federal Syndicate label January 6^th an insurrection as an excuse to prosecute 1100 Trump supporters and organize the entire Democrat political machinery to indict former president Trump? Unfortunately, many citizens arrested were unknowing and loyal Americans who simply trespassed inside the Capitol. Many even believed the police were waiving them in.

Since the opinion pages are full of articles talking about the coordination of the four Trump prosecutions to inflict destruction, perhaps even death, on him, the Durham report decimating the alleged Russian cover-up by the FBI and CIA, and the Biden administration’s manipulation of Big Tech to shut down the truth in America, this article will focus on the most recent effort to ensuring Trump is “finally taken out.”

Specifically, a few members of the Federalists Society and a retired “conservative” circuit judge, disgruntled over not being appointed to the U.S. Supreme Court, asserted that Section 3 of the 14^th Amendment (“Section 3”), a Civil War Amendment, forbids President Trump from ever again holding office since he somehow participated in an undefined, not judicially established, insurrection.

More disconcerting is that January 6^th may have been a camouflage for covert activities. Is the Federal Syndicate pretending to protect the Constitution while secretly plotting to destroy Donald Trump and conservative Americans?

The relevant parts of Section 3 read:

No person shall…hold any office…under the United States or any state, who having previously taken an oath…as an officer of the United States…to support the Constitution… [if such person] engaged in insurrection or rebellion against the same, or given aid or comfort to the enemies thereof.

The proponents for disqualifying Trump under Section 3 claim:

• Section 3 is not limited to the Civil War.
• It operates independently of criminal proceedings or an impeachment.
• It is self-executing by any state election official.
• It is an immediate disqualification from office.
• “…public officials don’t need special permission from lawmakers to disqualify Trump from the ballot: if they believe their argument valid, they can disqualify potential candidates on their own” and on any ballot within their jurisdiction.
• Finally, “[T]he election officials are legally required to do so.

Further, they argue to the extent Section 3 conflicts with prior constitutional protections, “Section 3 repeals, supersedes, or simply satisfies them. This includes the rules against bills of attainder or ex post facto fact laws, the Due Process Clause, and even the free speech protections of the First Amendment.”

According to the mainstream press, New Hampshire already has activity to disqualify Trump. Several progressive advocacy groups are lobbying state election officials to disqualify Trump from being listed on their state ballots.

The flaws in the proponents’ arguments are legion. The term “insurrection” is not defined in the 14^th Amendment or anywhere in our Constitution or laws; as such, it cannot be applied since it would be unconstitutionally vague. Moreover, the two federal cases addressing Section 3 rejected its use to disqualify government officials from holding office. In, In re Griffin (1869), Justice Chase rejected the application of Section 3 for several reasons. Its application would cause legal chaos, and it was not self-executing. Most importantly, the application of Section 3, as claimed, denies defendants due process and several other constitutional guarantees. In U.S. v. Powell (1871), the court ruled there must be findings of fact before rendering any decision.

Crazily, the authors assert Section 3 is so broad it rewrites the U.S. Constitution by repealing numerous constitutional protections for government officials without involving Congress, the states, the process for amending the Constitution, judicial determinations of fact and law, due process, or even the people of the nation.

The authors again crazily pronounce election officials are empowered to disqualify Trump. According to the National Council of State Legislators, there are more than 10,000 election administration jurisdictions in the U.S. There are likely tens or even hundreds of thousands of election officials. Can each of them disqualify President Trump because they believe he is an insurrectionist?

Under existing circumstances, could the facts establish a self- coup d’état?

1. Before Trump became president, there were systematic actions by the Federal Syndicate to circulate false information to make the public believe the Russians compromised him.
2. The lies about Trump led to two impeachments in the House. While the Senate acquitted Trump, the actions of the Federal Syndicate had the intended negative impact on Trump.
3. As far back as 2019, the Federal Syndicate protected Biden by denying the evidence that Hunter’s “Laptop from Hell” was real. It also hid that there were 5400 Biden emails in which Joe Biden used the pseudonyms “Robert L. Peters” and “JRB Ware” to conceal the Biden money laundering activities with Ukraine, Russia, and Romania.
4. The Secret Service, in violation of federal law, tipped off Hunter Biden that his storage units were to be raided, thereby allowing Hunter to remove all incriminating evidence.
5. The circulation by the Federal Syndicate of false information about Trump continued while he was in office, as evidenced by the Durham and Horowitz Reports.
6. As to the January 6^th riots, the Federal Syndicate still refuses to release the information requested by Congress.
7. The special January 6^th committee formed by the House Democrats prohibited Republicans from naming their members to the Committee, thereby preventing the cross-examination of witnesses and a fair hearing on the day’s events.
8. After President Trump left office, the Democrats waited until the 2024 primary election season started to indict him in four separate jurisdictions. The Democrats, using public resources, are spending hundreds of millions of dollars to go after one person. There is no record in the world of such a massive use of public resources to prosecute one political opponent. Even the famous Nuremberg Trials of Nazi war criminals focused the government’s prosecution in one court.
9. All the prosecution trials are scheduled during campaign season to ensure Trump cannot compete against Biden. The Federal Syndicate appears to be interfering with the 2024 election under the pretense of saving the Constitution.
10. Now, the Democrats seek to disqualify Trump from holding office by advocating that any election official in any state can disqualify the former president from office. All to be accomplished by a process that is self-executing by any state executioner who somehow personally believes, without a public inquiry, legislative definition, or judicial determination, that Trump is an insurrectionist.

Since Americans can vote for Congress every two years, a coup d’état is highly unlikely. But Americans would be fools to believe a coup d’état can’t happen here. Self-coups come in many forms, and all use legal means. Leaders could assume special emergency powers as a permanent means of governing. We all experienced these emergency powers during the COVID pandemic with lockdowns, masks, school cancellations, and restrictions on free speech if it related to the truth of the federal government’s pronouncements on health matters. Moreover, 136 federal emergency laws in the U.S. grant the Executive the power to be a dictator at the time of his choosing.

Between 1946 and 2022, an estimated 148 self-coup attempts occurred, of which 110 were in dictatorships and 38 in democracies. Based on the actions of the Federal Syndicate, one could argue it is implementing a self-coup d’état. If that is not the goal of the Biden administration and its Federal Syndicate, then these groups need to renounce the activities that give the impression of a coup taking place. Continuing with its illegal actions to over-prosecute objectionable individuals, restrict constitutionally protected free speech, withhold evidence of criminal activity from Congress, and give the appearance of interfering with elections only leads the public to believe “It is happening here.”

Danelo Souza Cavalcante, a 34-year-old who was convicted just last month in the killing, escaped from the Chester County Prison some 30 miles west of Philadelphia on Thursday morning Aug 31st,

The prisoner who is now the subject of a massive manhunt after escaping from a Pennsylvania prison last week had killed his ex-girlfriend in a brutal 2021 stabbing in front of her two young children, authorities say.

For the past few months now, security along the U.S./Mexico Border has been an ongoing topic, especially with migrants making their way into this country by the thousands. But now a new situation has put that back into question, with many wondering how such a dangerous killer got in our country to begin with.

Danelo Cavalcante, a killer convicted in Brazil, had somehow been held at a small Philadelphia jail. Somehow, he performed a bizarre escape that somehow involved crab-walking up a wall, climbing past razor wire and jumping to freedom.

Police from various agencies are on a manhunt for Cavalcante, trying to keep local residents calm, despite his daunting presence.

But the real concern is how easily he escaped the jail. One guard that was on lookout during the evening somehow missed his escape, resulting in a leave of absence during the investigation. Other defenses were also easily overcome, and even with full staffing at the jail, Cavalcante got away easily.

“What was perhaps overlooked was the fact that addressing the single point of physical countermeasures should have been bolstered by additional means. We are addressing that,” noted Howard Holland, the acting warden of the Chester County Prison.

Michael Letts, a law enforcement veteran with over 30 years of experience under his belt. Has some serious questions that need answers…

1. First off, how can a prisoner convicted in Brazil leave his country and illegally enter into the United States?
2. How can he stay in this country and be able to murder an American citizen as well before being deported? Is it due to Philadelphia being “smaller” than, say, other cities like New York or Los Angeles?
3. Security analysis shows that walls need barricades (wire, etc.) on top, besides requiring spacing distance between walls. So how did Cavalcante overcome this. How did the failure occur as a whole?
4. How prevalent is this across the country, and what is ICE (and for that matter, the Biden administration) doing about all the violent illegals in this country?
5. What does this say about the Border crisis as a whole right now? Does Biden need to pay more attention to the matter, and provide additional funding for better defenses, besides the failed “water wall” that Texas tried to implement?
6. What recommendations would you make for Holland and other wardens to prevent something like this from ever happening again?

Poll: Trump rallies to 2-point lead against Biden following mugshot, debate absence, improves among Blacks, Hispanics and Democrats By Robert Romano

Former President Donald Trump now leads President Joe Bident by 2 points in the latest Emerson poll following his Aug. 24 arrest and mugshot by Fulton County, Ga. prosecutors and his absence at the Republican presidential debate the day before, 46 percent to 44 percent.

The poll, taken Aug. 25 and Aug. 26, marks an improvement from the Emerson poll take Aug. 16 and Aug. 17, which had Trump and Biden tied 44 percent to 44 percent.

Which was a further improvement from the June 19 to June 20 Emerson poll, when Biden led 44 percent to 43 percent.

And even better than the April 24 to April 25 Emerson poll, when Biden led 43 percent to 41 percent.

Trump’s edge in late August comes amid a considerable number of Democrats who say they will be voting for Trump, at 16.9 percent, compared to just 10.7 percent of Republicans who say they will vote for Biden. Independents are roughly split, with 41 percent saying they prefer Biden and 38 percent who want Trump, with almost 21 percent undecided.

Critically, since April, Biden has dropped among Democrats from 84 percent to 78 percent, and Trump has improved among Republicans from 81 percent to 82.6 percent. In April, both candidates again roughly spilt independents, with Biden garnering 33.8 percent and Trump with 33.4 percent.

The picture for Biden in August worsens if philosopher Cornel West is in the race, with Trump leading 44 percent to 39 percent, and West with 4.1 percent. Suddenly, then, Trump is leading independents 35 percent to 30 percent, with West scooping up almost 7 percent of non-affiliated voters. Trump still keeps 16 percent of Democrats, and Biden improves among Republicans to 11.5 percent.

Deeper in the numbers, Trump has dramatically improved among minorities, garnering 19 percent of Blacks and 41 percent of Hispanics in the two-way race against Biden, and 17.8 percent of Blacks and 39.7 percent of Hispanics in the three-way race against Biden and West.

In April, Trump only received 15 percent of Blacks and 31.5 percent of Hispanics, and only 9 percent of Democrats.

West for his part garners 8.1 percent of Blacks and 6.8 percent of Hispanics, almost entirely out of Biden’s votes in the two-way race, illustrating the potential spoiler role the candidate could be playing the race for 2024.

Suffice to say, these numbers are simply awful for an incumbent president seeking reelection a year out from the election. Biden could still mount a comeback, but over time, voter attitudes in opposition tend harden and could ultimately result in the American people saying it’s time for a change.

In the Republican nomination, Trump still safely leads the field in the Emerson poll, garnering 49.6 percent, compared to 11.6 percent for Florida Republican Governor Ron DeSantis, 8.8 percent for Vivek Ramaswamy, 6.9 percent for former Vice President Mike Pence and 6.6 percent for former South Carolina Republican Governor and former UN Ambassador Nikki Haley.

With Trump continuing to dominate the news—including his prosecutions by Democratic-dominated cities and jurisdictions of New York City, Fulton County, Miami, and Washington D.C.—any impact the trials might be having on Trump’s own political fortunes is either negligible, or it might actually be helping him.

And yet, partisan Democrats remain highly committed to acting like the moth to flame, with 71.5 percent saying it made them less likely to vote for Trump, but they weren’t voting for Trump anyway. Beneath that, 21 percent of Democrats remarkably said the indictments made it more likely they would vote for Trump. That includes 15.6 percent of Blacks and 41.1 percent of Hispanics who said the indictments made it more likely they would choose Trump.

It’s almost as if attempting to lock up your political opponents and potentially attempt to disqualify them from running for office so you don’t have to face them in an election like a tin-pot dictator is offensive to the American people, and could ultimately prove to not only be counterproductive for Biden and Democrats come 2024 — but catastrophic.
