Athletic Field Improvement 4:05 - 4:35
The goal of this project is to make a tangible improvement to one of the City's athletic fields. The Susen's Football Field located in Billings Park was chosen as the location. This field was originally intended to be used by the area Pony Football League. However, the League cannot use the field until some improvements are made including the addition of water and electrical service to the field. Also, a concession stand/storage facility would prove to be very useful. The group has begun the fundraising and approval process to provide the water/electrical service as well as build the concession stand/storage facility. Once completed, the Field will become the Pony League Football home creating a sense of pride and excitement for the community. Fundraising efforts include a 2 mile walk/run to be held in Billings Park on May 19th. Presented by: Andrew Nelson, Cheri Boreen, Aaron Anderson, Aaron Sotak and Mary Holschuh

Community Assessment 4:35 - 5:05
A community assessment was conducted over a 3 day period in March. The results with recommendations will be shared. Presented by: Keith Miller, Denise McDonald, Dave Strum, Dawn Bright, Henk Vandenbrink and Michelle Hostetler

Youth Mentoring Program 5:05 - 5:35
The goal of our group project is to develop a community based youth mentoring program in Superior/Douglas County that would exist to provide positive adult role models for eligible youth (ages 5-17). The mentoring program will provide participating youths with companionship and guidance; develop trusting relationships; engage in positive, healthy activities; and support growth in these youth socially and emotionally. Youth guided by a successful role model are more likely to improve their academic performance, through better decision making skills, self-confidence, and sense of belonging. Wisconsin Point 5:35 - 6:05
The goal of this group was to identify the positives and negatives associated with Wisconsin Point. The focus of the group has been on making the community aware of how Wisconsin Point can be enjoyed while following the local code of ordinances associated with Wisconsin Point. In order to reach our group goal we identified all interested parties of Wisconsin Point, created a website and distributed a flyer.
