This information session will provide an opportunity for prospective nursing students to meet with an advisor from the College of Health and Human Services (CHHS).The advisors will review prerequisites and admission requirements. Please bring unofficial transcript(s) and/or an unofficial international transcript evaluation so that advisors may review your materials.

Who Should Attend
This information session is only for prospective students who DO NOT currently hold a bachelor's degree or an RN license. Please do not attend this session if you already have a bachelor's degree, plan to receive a bachelor's degree or higher level degree prior to the start of the program or hold a current RN license.

What to Bring
Please bring unofficial transcript(s) and/ or unofficial international evaluation(s) for review. Without these documents, advisors will not be able to provide a preliminary evaluation.

Time
Sessions will last approximately two hours. Please be prompt for the start of the session. Due to the volume of information covered, attendees arriving more than 15 minutes late may be asked to reschedule for a later date. Please allot yourself enough time to find parking and to locate the building/room where the session will be held.

MSN/DNP Program Information Session (9/8/2015)

This information session will assist prospective students in identifying options for a program of study within Mason’s MSN or DNP programs. Students without a BSN interested in the RN to MSN programs should bring unofficial transcript(s) and/or an unofficial international transcript evaluation so that advisors may evaluate coursework. This request applies ONLY to prospective RN to MSN students. Students interested in the MSN/ DNP program do not need to bring transcripts.

Who Should Attend

For the MSN to DNP program, prospective students must hold a Master’s of Science in Nursing degree and a current RN license.

For the RN – MSN programs, prospective students who CURRENTLY hold their RN license or plan to receive their RN license prior to the start of the RN – MSN program. Please do not attend this session if you do not hold a current RN license or plan to receive a RN license prior to the start of the program.
