Puri Jagannadh was the chief guest at cherlapally central jail, hyderabad for yesterday’s republic day celebrations.He interacted with prisoners there and when one prisoner, who was a pawan kalyan fan, asked him about his relation with kalyan, puri replied that “Pawan Kalyan is the hero who made me director with Badri in the year 2000.Later i narrated him many stories like Idiot, Amma Nanna Tamilammai, Pokiri, Golimaar.

He always listened to my stories but it never went beyond that.But recently i met him again and narrated a new story and this time he agreed to give dates.This year, movie in our combination will release and even if you guys are not released from jail by that time, i’ll show you my movie within the jail itself.“

Puri Jagan’s movie with Kalyan will start from may 2012 and is planned to release by end of this year.

Pawan Kalyan’s three movies after Gabbar Singh are confirmed.First will be under direction of Puri Jagannadh, and will be produced by D.V.V.Danayya on his Universal Media banner.

This project will start from may 2012 and is planned to be completed and released for Dasara in october 2012.Producer BVSN Prasad had a tie-up with Reliance Entertainment and will be making 3 movies on his banner.

First will be Puri Jagan – Ravi Teja’s project from next month, next will be Pawan Kalyan – Raju Sundaram movie after october 2012 and then a movie with Gopichand – Chandrasekhar Yeleti.After these two projects, pawan is planning to work with Trivikram for ‘Saradaa’ under Sanghamitra arts banner, which produced Panjaa movie last year.

Powerstar Pawan Kalyan’s next movie after Gabbar Singh would be with ace director Puri Jagannadh.

This was confirmed by Puri Jagan himself few minutes back.Gabbar Singh will release on 27th april 2012 and immediately this project would start.

Meanwhile, Puri Jagan is planning to complete a movie titled Devudu Chesina Manushulu with Ravi Teja.
Pawan’s movie with Trivikram for Sanghamitra arts will start during the end of this year or early 2013.

Pawan – Puri Jagan movie would be produced by D.V.V.Danayya on his universal media banner and they’re planning to rope in a bollywood heroine.Jagan narrated the script to pawan during Gabbar Singh shoot and as soon as he got powerstar’s approval, he postponed his project with Jr.NTR for this movie.

Chiranjeevi could have become Chief Minister

Chief Minister Kiran Kumar Reddy on Tuesday stated that PRP would have won the Assembly polls defeating the Congress and party president Chiranjeevi might have become the Chief Minister, if all his fans has voted for him.“Chiranjeevi would have become Chief Minister, if all his fans had voted for PRP. Most of the his fans didn’t have voting rights (Age<18) during the 2009 Assembly elections and many of the eligible fans aren’t enrolled to vote,” said Kiran Kumar Reddy, after unveiling the statue of the Nobel Laureate Ravindranath Tagore at the BT College in Madanapalli, Chittor district. Kiran Kumar Reddy’s statement gained significance as it comes in a programme where the megastar was also present as one of the guests. Chiranjeevi is now being recognised as a prominent leader in congress party after he managed two state cabinet berths for his men.

Puri Jagannadh postpones NTR movie for Pawan Kalyan

Puri Jagannadh is a big fan and huge admirer of Powerstar Pawan Kalyan. He got his first break as director with pawan’s Badri (2000).

Jagan even has a big size photo of pawan in his office, which shows his love and respect towards kalyan. Jagan has been trying hard to make another movie with Pawan Kalyan for over a decade.

Despite Puri’s desperate attempts, Pawan Kalyan didn’t do another film with him all these days. There was news in the media about another film in this combination many a time, but that didn’t materialize. Few years ago a film was finalized and was called off at the last minute.

However, Pawan fans are happy that Puri is finally doing a film with Pawan now. After getting the nod from Power star, Puri Jagannadh has ditched other heroes who are supposed to do his next films. Puri has put Idiot 2 with Raviteja on the backburner and pushed NTR behind Pawan Kalyan in the queue. Puri has promised to direct NTR’s movie after Idiot 2. But that movie may not materialize in the near future. As of now Puri is kicked about the film with his favorite star.

This would be produced by D.V.V.Danayya on his universal media banner and would start after summer 2012.

Puri Jagannadh, who made The Businessman recently with mahesh babu, said in an interview that “I met Pawan Kalyan recently and expressed my desire to work with him. I have a storyline ready for him and i’m waiting for his green signal. Right now i’m planning two movies, one with Ravi Teja and other with NTR. After these two, i might work with Pawan Kalyan.“ Puri Jagan got his first break as a director with Pawan Kalyan’s Badri in 2000 summer and he went on to become one of the most discussed directors in telugu film industry. Infact Puri Jagan has also expressed his interest in directing Megastar Chiranjeevi’s 150th movie, but nothing got confirmed later.

Prabhu Deva plans to direct Ramcharan in 2013

Choreographer turned director Prabhu Deva has narrated a story to Ram Charan Tej, last year. But since charan was committed to Racha, V.V.Vinayak movie and Yevadu, he did not take any decision on this. Now, prabhu deva is near completion of his hindi movie Rowdy Rathore (remake of telugu film Vikramarkudu), and would like to direct charan for his next movie. Charan has Rachcha, v.v.vinayak’s film, yevadu and Zanjeer-2 lined up till mid 2013 in his diary. Incidentally, prabhu deva became director with telugu movie in 2005 (Nuvvostanante Nenoddantana) and also directed Megastar Chiranjeevi’s last movie as a hero, Shankar Dada Zindabad (2007).

Rachcha title song shooting completed

Ramcharan’s Rachcha movie unit has almost wrapped up shooting for opening song of the movie. Last week the unit filmed few scenes in Chennai and, currently the song is being shot at Buddha statue in hussain sagar, under the direction of choreographer Prem Rakshit. Music is being composed by Mani Sharma. Rachcha movie completed more than 75% of the shoot and is readying for late March or early April release. Tamanna is playing the leading lady and the movie is directed by Sampath Nandi and produced by NV Prasad and Paras Jain under Mega Super Good Films banner. Ram Charan Tej and Tamanna are playing medicos in this movie.

Apoorva Lakhia will direct Ram Charan’s hindi movie Zanjeer 2

Bollywood director Apoorva Lakhia will be directing Ram Charan Tej’s hindi debut movie Zanjeer 2. The original version in early 70s was produced and directed by Prakash Mehra with Amitabh Bachchan in lead. Now Prakash’s son Amit Mehra, Reliance Entertainment and Eros Ram Mirchandani are jointly producing this latest version. The original script will be modified to suit the tastes of present generation. Chiran Bhatt (cousin of vikram bhatt) will compose music for this movie. This will not be a remake but it will be a sequel of original Zanjeer(1973).

Producers are planning to make this a bilingual in hindi and telugu with a budget of Rs.70 crores and shooting is planned to start in late 2012 after charan completes his telugu movie commitments. Apoorva Lakhia worked as an assistant director for Ashutosh Gowariker’s period epic film Lagaan(2001), Once Upon a Time in India and as second assistant director for the film Kama Sutra: A Tale of Love (1996). He had been an assistant for Hollywood films such as The Ice Storm, A Perfect Murder and Addicted to Love. He made his debut as a film director with the 2002 film Mumbai Se Aaya Mera Dost. His second film Ek Ajnabee released in 2005 which starred Amitabh Bachchan in the leading role was a remake of the Hollywood film Man on Fire. His third film Shootout at Lokhandwala which has a multi-star cast released on 25 May 2007 and was based on real-life events involving the underworld gangsters Maya Dolas and Dilip Buwa. In late 2007 he directed a short story titled Sex on the Beach for the anthology film Dus Kahaniyaan. His next film was Mission Istanbul and he also wrote story of Hide & Seek (2009), which is directed Shawn Aranha.

The movie is said to contain some explosive action sequences and Pawan Kalyan is taking a keen interest in this department. The makers say that Gabbar Singh is an out and out commercial entertainer with a very high entertainment quotient. Nagineedu, Suhasini, Ali, Ajay, Abhimanyu Singh et al are playing prominent roles in this Parameswara Arts production movie, being produced by Ganesh Babu. Racha overseas rights sold for record 2.75 crores

They are bagged by Hari Venkateswara pictures, which include the complete abroad distribution and DVD rights of this movie. Eventhough charan’s last movie Orange was not upto expectations, and despite taking a gap of more than 15 months for his next release, he proved that his craze is still not down because Rachcha business is more than Orange’s. Pawan wants to start Saradaa with Trivikram ahead of Raju Sundaram movie

Pawan Kalyan has dismissed news about himself acting in 3D version of a comedy movie produced by BVSN Prasad under Raju Sundaram’s direction. Pawan was supposed to do a movie with them but now he wants to start Trivikram’s Saradaa movie immediately after Gabbar Singh releases. For this, he is asking trivikram to plan his ‘Honey’ movie (with Allu Arjun) schedules right and complete it soon and release in this summer itself. Pawan has promised to Panjaa producer Neelima Tirumalasetti that he would give dates for one more movie and he wants it to start as soon as possible. ‘Honey’ is planned to release in last week of may or early june this year. Pawan is confident that a romantic comedy mixed with some action under Trivikram’s direction (like Jalsa) would be right movie for him now.
