GROUNDHOG DAY!

One part of the tradition is if a groundhog see’s its shadow there will be six more weeks of winter, but the other part is a time of reflection.

In House Curmudgeon a watching of the 1993 comedy movie Groundhog Day. It is a film about time and choice. A man is stuck set to relive the same day over and over for an uncounted time. How long is he there? Months? Centuries? What do you do when you have the gift of time, but don’t know how long that gift will last? Do you live as the ant, stockpiling towards a future, or as the grasshopper happy in the moment? Whatever you choose, remember:

Born in Aix-en-Provence, France on January 19th, 1839, Paul Cézanne was a French artist and Post-Impressionist painter. His work inspired much of 20th century art including the works of Pablo Picasso and the art movement of Cubism.
