So, I was totally wrong.

As far as the horrifying painter and the nightmarish sculptor I was talking about, I had to go digging through an ancient, humming external hard drive I haven't used since college to find their names. They're buried in the ether of the internet; luckily, I wrote a travel piece for The Drummond Island Digest back in 2010, in which I describe my excursion to the back-alley art gallery.

The painter's name is Sereirrof, and his work is every bit as haunting as I remember.
