Tonight I am here, just because.

Just because it was a day where I forgot to apply the filter (that I don’t really have) to my conversations.

Just because I started to question that things (BIG) things that I have spent so much time thinking about lately.

Just because I verbalized things that were better left unsaid.

Just because I, admittedly or not, am beginning to get anxious about having surgery in March.

Just because I am tired of feeling under the weather with a sore throat, funny feeling tummy, or low grade fever.

Just because this is my safe place, one of the few places that I get to control.

Just because I don’t feel like getting the house ready for the cleaning lady that is coming tomorrow.

Just because I have no interest in tackling the laundry basket.

Just because even Pinterest could not inspire me this evening.

Except for this photograph….which somehow reminds me of how I am feeling.  Like lava, freefalling over the side of a steep cliff.
